I talked to Eddie on Friday of Labor Day weekend. My automotive problem was a little more involved than we initially thought, he stuck with it, worked late and got us back on the road. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
In town from KY on our honeymoon. My ‘05 RAV-4 was making a bad noise. Eddie and his associate were able to take a look day-of and had the issue diagnosed within about an hour. Their suggested fix would cost almost as much as the car (nearly 250k miles), so I went on my way for a potential plan B. Miraculously, the noise went away within a few miles. Eddie texted me after a few days (people just don’t do stuff like that these days - great service) just to check in and suggested it may have been the timing chain tensioner. Overall, great, quick, honest, down-to-earth service. Thanks guys!

Our family was on vacation on July 3rd when the starter went out on our Tahoe late in the afternoon. I called around to about 10 different mechanics and no one could get to it or help us out being a holiday weekend. Eddie at T&T was the only one to reach back out and said if we could get it towed to his shop he would fix it on July 4th. We did just that and had a working vehicle with new starter and battery back on the afternoon of July 4th! Hard to find that kind of service these days especially on a holiday in a pinch. Eddie was awesome and I would definitely use T&T’s services again.
T&T works in excellence. The attention to the details while installing my plow, truck wiring harness, strobe light, and bumper backup lights was awesome. They took the time and didn't chop anything up or route wires in bad spots. I will 100% let anyone looking for a plow install or purchase to come see the T&T group. Very good at what they do!

Got a flat tire around the corner and pulled into T&T because it happened to be nearby. I absolutely did not expect them to make room in the shop to get me up on a lift and then back out in under an hour, but they did. $50 to pull the tire off the rim, check for interior damage, plug the tire, and get me moving again. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends!
Eddie is fantastic. I was out doing errands and suddenly,my car would barely accelerate and the engine light turned on. I drove straight to T&T. I figured I would just drop it off since it almost 6pm. A young mechanic was there when I arrived and let me know that Eddie had stepped away and would be back in a few minutes, which was what happened. They found that an animal had chewed up the insulation that is in the underside of my hood but that wouldn't cause the lack of acceleration. Eddie said he wanted to also look at the air filter and he took it a part and found that yes, whatever was doing the chewing, had chewed the filter too including some of the plastic and all of it had fallen into the turbo engine and the plastic had melted onto the fan blades causing the acceleration problem. Eddie worked on freeing the blades of the debris in a very difficult spot to get at and had already ordered the air filter which was delivered a short while later. When he was done, the car worked! They had also cleaned out the critter's nest Eddie knows cars. Your car is safe with him!
I came to town on 4th of July weekend, and my vehicle started making a strange noise. Despite being busy, they were willing to take a look at my vehicle to let me know if it was safe to drive or not. Awesome customer service.
Such a run down place and so tiny you can barely walk in the front door without it hitting you. The owner is so rude and can’t answer a simple question, I really don’t know how he sells anything to be honest the way he treats his customers and acts like he’s too good to sell his precious plows. I really recommend traveling to your next closest dealer
Stuck with a broken boat trailer on the way home from vacation outside of Minoqua on a Sunday. Eddie was great. Talked me through the options (including the ones I don't work with him). I ended up getting my trailer to his shop and leaving it there a week while parts came in ( he ordered them immediately and was nothing he could do to speed it up). Communication was awesome. I got texts as he investigated issue, ordered parts, parts came in and he tested the fix. His work and clarity made this bad situation not so bad.

Only auto repair place in town that answered Sunday call for emergency brake repair and fixed next morning! Offered a loaner car, suggestions for restaurants, lodging & things to do with our unexpected overnight stay. Very personable, informative & made additional service recommendations for vehicle once we were home.

I was traveling to Bayfield on 51 N when I hit road debris (driveshaft - ouch) and got a flat tire. My Subaru had only a small replacement tire, so I was not in a good place to finish my trip (either turning around or finishing to Bayfield). ANYWAY, to make a short story long, T and T was amazing!!! They secured a full sized tire at 5:45 the night of the accident, installed it and road tested my vehicle by 10 AM next day. Wow!!! Such amazing professionalism and compassion - can't say enough good about these guys!
Had car trouble while visiting from out of town and needed a quick turn-around. Dropped it off that afternoon and it was done the next morning. They really have a heart for someone in distress. Very friendly and helpful!
I needed new windshield wiper blades when traveling through the area. They changed my blades quickly and charged me no labor fee. They sold the blades for a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff. Wish I could find a garage like this at home.

I've been taking cars to T & T for years. Everything from basic maintenance to installing a plow on an old Jeep Wrangler has been done professionally, neatly and always fixed the problem. A lot of mechanics in the area are what I would call replacement specialists, they just replace parts til they get the right one. T & T diagnoses the problem and then fixes it. Very attentive to customer service. What else is there to know?
Oh yeah, nice people, too. When they see you out and about they stop and say hi.
Josh was amazing. My girlfriend was having some issues with her car while we were on vacation. We took it to T & T to have them take a look. A few days later, it was all good to go. We picked up the car and it was great for about 20 miles, then started making the noise again. Josh drove 35 minutes out, all the way to our resort to take a look at it and by the next day it was fixed/ dropped off at our cabin. This was truly an amazing service and have never experienced anything like it in Denver. Thank you.
Arrived in Minocqua Saturday afternoon with a horrible sound coming from the right front wheel. Called T&T and they were extremely busy but offered to take a listen, no promises on a repair. They were booked up for the entire week. They assessed that our right front wheel bearing was bad. They found the time and parts to fix it that day (3pm Saturday) and gave us a rental car while they were fixing it. Rates and parts were reasonable and they saved us from having a horrible week of vacation trying to find a repair. Thanks Guys!!!
T&T auto repair shop in downtown Minocqua is the best!! The owner Eddie and his son Josh plus their employees are all so helpful. They have been fixing our vehicles for over 20 years. They have been their for me at all hours and holidays. they run a top notch shop and never have let me down. Eddie is a character! I know I'll always get a straight answer from him and a way to solve it. I send all my friends there! I highly recommend them.
My 17 year old son was 4 hours from home up in Minocqua on a fishing trip. He got a flat tire and went here to have it repaired. The guy who helped him was not friendly at all and charged him over double the price of what it should cost to have a plug put in the tire and then he wouldn't even put the tire back on!! Horrible!
