Short story. We hit a deer 7.5 hours from home at about 1am. This service went so far beyond expectations to help us out and keep us safe. I can't thank this service enough for all the kindness they showed us. I would call this service before any other one in the area. Thank you again.

I would highly recommend these guys to do work on any vehicle. We had a tire blow on the expressway with a heavy trailer load on a Saturday and they went out of their way to help us out.

Driving through on the highway and got a screw in my tire that was leaking fast, they had me in an out in 10 minutes and only charged me $8. Too bad this shop is over 1000km from my house cause I would definitely come back. Thanks again guys!

Steve and his son are absolute legends. Tire blew apart on 94 towards Madison without a spare. They found me a tire for free from a junkyard to get me back home and replaced it. Google said closed but Steve will still pick up so make sure to still call.

Steve’s has always been there for myself, my family, and our Companies Fleet. I can’t recommend them enough. From the initial call, to the work being completed, they are second to none.

Saying that Stevie may be one of the last mechanics with integrity is an understatement. Stevie treats his customers like they are family. My dad has been using Stevie for 15 years. He trusts no one else with his Suburban - so much so that he drives 1,200 miles from Colorado (where he now lives) whenever he needs it serviced. If you’re looking for someone you can trust, you found him.

They were amazing! I was driving on 94 on Memorial Day and the engine light started blinking. Stopped at next exit in Johnson creek for the night then called Steve’s the next morning. They came and towed it for me, got it fixed up… thankfully a simple fix (that would have gotten worse and lead to way more issues had I kept driving) and towed it back to me at the hotel. I had 3 kids with me and I couldn’t leave them alone. With no family or friends close, I am very grateful for all that they did and we were able to make it home that evening. Thank you so much for helping this mama out.

I will definitely keep going to Steve's Car & Truck. They were able to get me in early and on time with both visits. They were very nice and explained what will be needed in the near future. There were no unexpected charges.

I had a wheel bearing go out on the 94 while driving to northern Canada. Steve’s managed to source the parts and had the truck ready to install when the parts arrived. I was back on the road with minimal time lost and still made my next pick up. Other shops in the area were estimating a week to get the truck in to diagnose. Steve’s was great and my dog enjoyed the treats.

My car had issues with the drive train/propeller shaft. It was essentially loose and flopping around under there. My husband had taken the car to another Car Service in the area, and they told him they could not find anything wrong. Fast forward...I called Steve's and explained the noise I was hearing. They got the car in within a few days. Diagnostics and complete repair in only two days!! That simply cannot be beat!!! Historically, Steve's Car & Truck has been the BEST place around for service and customer relations. I'm here to tell you that nothing has changed...still the BEST!

Can’t say enough good things about everyone who works at Steve’s!!! Took my new to me car in for an oil change & was surprised to find a tire rotation was included. Steve's is our "Go To" place for auto repair in the area. They've been consistently responsive, conscientious and trustworthy. Their customer service is beyond outstanding.

My elderly parents radiator blew out on I94 Friday afternoon. The first place they called told them it would be 4 hours! Next they called Steve's. The tow truck got to them 20 min later. The driver not only got to them safely and quickly he then dropped their truck off at the shop of their pick and proceeded to take them home where he quickly jumped out of the tow truck and opened their door and walked them to the front door of their house! It's stressful enough breaking down, even more so on the interstate, so I say thank you to this kind man who went above and beyond because he is a good person.

Absolutely fantastic, called and asked to have a tire switched to a different rim, sure no problem, come on in! They were busy working on a number of vehicles, one of them stopped, mounted the tire, balanced and finished it while we waited. Paid them and we're in and out in only 15 minutes! We need more shops like this!!!

Stopped in on an emergency basis because my tire was very low and every gas station air service was frozen. They pulled it in and discovered a bead problem... fixed it on the spot. Lady at the desk was friendly and chatted with us while we waited. Congrats to your Grandfather. ;-) Good price... friendy service. Thank you!

Daughter's '05 RAV (231k miles) needed full brakes all around, front CV joint, and rear wheel bearing. A real mess. Received great communication from Cassie & Steve on repairs, cost, and practicality on such a well-used vehicle. Very honest and transparent. Quality work done within reasonable time frame. Found a keeper!

Steve is my hero He came to our rescue, after we almost crashed on the freeway, and found his shop the next exit, by chance. He quickly helped us repair our problem, ran & got the part. Was extremely friendly & knowledgeable, and was so reasonably priced. I can hardly believe there's still honest mechanics still out there! I wish he was closer to my home, he would forever be my mechanic!! Thank you again, Steve & yr associates for the awesome service!!!

Check engine light came on & I stopped at Steve’s to see what that what was up. Josh told me the bad news that I needed a new catalytic converter. Even though my car is 10 years old (Ford Focus) the mileage was still decent enough to warrant paying for the repair. Had the work done & can’t say enough good things about the people & this business. Friendly and honest people taking exceptional care of their customers!!!! Had to stop in again a week later when my Focus killed a crane on the highway. Stevie said he couldn’t do the repair himself but recommended another local business (Fueled Customs) to go to. So glad I live in Lake Mills & can support these people! Five stars plus!!!!! If they can’t help you, they’ll find someone who can!

I took an assemble it yourself utility trailer in for an inspection to make sure it was road worthy and have the regular flip coupler switched to a hand wheel hitch I prefer. Unfortunately, the new hitch wouldn't fit. Steve Jr also noticed a few errors my sister & I made with the assembly. He and his worker corrected them for me despite a light sprinkle. (Wow! The corners & sides fit sooo much better now! Even Toffee Cat appreciated the changes) He also contacted the DOT to confirm no license is required since it only weighs 451 lbs No charge either. I feel a lot better knowing it's had a through inspection. Thanks guys!

I was in Lake Mills for a funeral today and the heat shield to the catalytic converter was rattling/ terribly. I stopped in at Steve's and he put a big hose clamp on it to get me home to Illinois. It took ten minutes and I wasn't charged a dime. Thank you Everyone! It made a sad day a whole lot brighter-

Such a positive experience with Steve’s car and truck service! I had some car trouble on the freeway & was referred to Steve’s by a good (great) Samaritan who stopped to help me. This group is fair and honest! I have had routine oil changes for years, parts replaced, and interior detailing done. Very accommodating and a hard working crew!
