Kristian, as always came through and helped me again. I needed a front bumper assembly and wanted it to match the color of my car. He looked all over and found one in Georgia. He had it shipped to their yard. I’ve bought thousands of dollars of car parts from Remington Auto and the 175 mile round trip drive is well worth it. Obviously, I’ll be back. They used to want our business but they went to crap they don't deliver anymore and the last transmission I got from them I took the oil pan off and it was full of dirt not sure I even wanna put the transmission in and we got an engine with a warranty plan and we had to warranty some stuff talked with them,they gave us the ok to fix it and send them the bill that's been 6 months ago still haven't paid it !! Wouldn't recommend going there

Warranty not honored after buying a bad motor. Would NEVER recommend them to buy a fan belt.

Place really went downhill. Go somewhere else. Remingtons are money hungry & don't care about you or their product - If you're going to buy something from them make sure to do it on a credit card for an easier chargeback its the best chance at getting your money back for the junk they're pushing out the door

I called Remington on Friday, 11/8/25 to see if they had a driver's side mirror for a 2012 silverado. They confirmed they had one and said that I couldn't pick it up until Tuesday and that I would have to pay the $45 over the phone via card for them to pull it from the shelves. I asked if I could just pick it up on Tuesday and I'll have the cash. They insisted that I had to pay over the phone. That was sketchy enough for me to never want to start doing business with these guys.

I can’t say thank you enough to these guys. After having a completely miserable day. So I’m sure I was a little on the edge side. I called looking for a transmission. The guy on the phone had a few different ones to pick from. After picking a transmission in price range. I then found out that there was a core charge. I’m an over the road truck driver, I’m not home very often. I haven’t gotten a chance to pull the transmission Out of the truck The guys were more than willing to work with me On returning the core. Then, after all of that, I wasn’t gonna be able to make it up there before they close They said no problem. We will leave it outside for you to pick up. I said awesome thank you! It is now 7pm on Friday I am just pulling in the driveway Looking at this beast of a transmission that I was not expecting to be that size thinking how am I gonna put it in the back of a pick up? By a stroke of luck, one of the employees are still there I really wish I would’ve caught his name, but after the day I’ve been having I was just in go mode. This guy not only offered to help me pick it up and put it in the back of the pick up by hand but then when I asked, is there any chance you have a forklift and we can just pick it up and put it in the back, you said absolutely Now these guys didn’t have to work with me that guy didn’t have to be there and help me put it in the back of my pick up but they did and all I can say is thank you. I am incredibly grateful. and in this day and age, it’s crazy you don’t find customer service like that anywhere So thank you for being in business and being A Quality business with fantastic employees!

Bought engine wire harness for friend but he returned it back to Remington for misfit reason. Now these Remington guys are not returning my money back. Pathetic company. They won't even reply my emails or messages or calls. Never buy from them!

Had a customer buy a transmission and their extended warranty. Weird when installing, installing a new filter and seals is required by us. It went in smoothly, but did not work. Started the warranty should have been in the 90 day that it came with. Van moved 2 miles total.
It took 16 days to get a replacement. 2nd trans came dirty and had a filter in it. Changed filter, 3 seals, it has been 2 months they have NOT paid the invoice for the repair. I run a small shop and only work on my towed customer cars.
Same vehicle and here we are with a bad alternator. Customer swing in and grabbed one so I could meet him to tow it in for replacement. Tear it down and the replacement alt is broken. The counter guy even said he could see it was broken in the pictures.
Had to make a special trip back down to get a different one.
I have been wrenching for YEARS. We have and shop I have worked at have bought TONS of recycled parts. I don't know if this is their new normal or what but will use caution moving forward from here.Oct 12, 2025 -
Loved staying on the Remington land when I was a child in the 80's, they are good and honest hard working people. I am a better person today because of these people and very grateful.....

They are usually pretty good but just got a piece of crap wheel cover that they want me to ship back and won't refund shipping charges, pretty sad after I have spent thousands of dollars over the years. Next time I need a $2500 engine someone else will get the sale.
Tried using this company again, was quoted a price on Tuesday, sold the part to my customer on Thursday and when I went to order the price jumped $245 and now needed a core ($250) back. I asked them to see if they could help with the price so I could still make the sale. 28 hours later and after I called or messaged them several times, I find out they sold the part to a walk in customer.

Wyatt was super friendly and helpful (give this man a raise!! Good customer service is seriously hard to find these days and Wyatt knows how to give it!). I had a great experience with Remington Auto Salvage and will definitely use them for any auto parts I need in the future. Highly recommended!!

I had hit a deer a week ago and needed some front-end parts for my Ford Edge. I had the absolute privilege of getting Luke to help me out. He was so kind, so thorough and absolutely wanted to make sure I received exactly what I needed in the best possible condition. He explained everything! I am sure he could tell I knew nothing about what I needed and he happily (at least he seemed happy) went the extra mile. What an asset to this place of business, you better hang onto this one! I stopped by and picked up a fender, door and a pair of roof airbags for my buddies Silverado. I talked with Kristian several times prior, during & after. Kristian was amazing!!! When I tried installing the airbag, I didn’t realize it was tangled, so it wouldn’t fit. I assumed it was for a double cab & not a crew cab. I called Kristian and he was on the phone so very patiently with me for over 20 minutes!!! You guys are so fortunate to have him working for you!!! All of your Staff that I have dealt with were so very helpful. To top it off, your parts prices are unbeatable! Wish you were a little closer to Hastings, MN, but the drive is definitely worth it. Worked with Kristian to find a somewhat hard to find rear axle for my truck. Had one shipped from another yard, and realized it was bent when I got it home. Kristian worked to find another comparable one in my budget, and had it on the way as soon as I brought up the issue. Returning the bent one for credit was simple; took a couple looks at it and agreed very quickly there was an issue. New axle works great! Great customer service before and after the sale.

Ordered a Rear Drive Shaft from Luke. He was incredibly helpful in finding this difficult to find item. Came promptly. There was a slight problem with the part at no fault of Luke's or Remington Auto. Was able to make it work. Luke understood the additional time and money it required and worked with me. Luke had explained to me how important customer satisfaction was and he followed through with absolutely everything he promised. I will be using Remington Auto, and specifically Luke, going forward for all my vehicle parts. Thank you!

While on an 800-mile cross-country trip with the family in the winter, the heater/ac control unit in the dash decided to quit working. A quick google search identified Remington Auto Salvage on our route, and a cheerful Luke picked up the phone (on Christmas Eve, no less), found the part I needed and had it ready for me when we arrived. A quick installation later and we were on our way, warm and toasty. So grateful. Thanks, Luke! Thanks, Remington!

I live about 5 hours from Remington and was on the hunt for a specific part but needed some pretty specific photos for clarification. I was working with Luke, and I tell you what! I haven’t had customer service like he provided in a long time! He was so kind and very thorough. He was punctual on his responses, exactly when he said he would. We couldn’t come up with what I was looking for but you better believe I will work with him again if I need something. His hard work and dedication to making sure the part was the fit for me before I drove all that way for nothing was exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you so much, Luke! I started dealing with Remington Auto Salvage about 6 months ago on an odd request. Luke Rieckens, the salesman, was very helpful and accommodating. We settled on a price and started the process of getting the part I needed ready for pick-up. I then received a call from Luke telling me the part was not up to their standards to sell, and I wasn't able to buy that one. The unfortunate thing was it wasn't an easy part to find. They actively tried to purchase a vehicle that had the very particular part I was looking for but couldn't come up with anything in a timely fashion and we decided to go a different route. My deposit was returned quickly, and Luke apologized multiple times that they couldn't help me out. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I called up Luke again to see if they happened to get something in. He said that they didn't but one of their partners in the business had something that would be perfect for what I was looking for. Now I could have called that yard and bought it for maybe a little less money, but I chose to keep dealing with Luke! He has gone above and beyond to help facilitate the sale of this part and pick-up from the other vendor. I recommend dealing with Remington Auto Salvage and especially working with Luke! I will certainly purchase from them again! Thanks Luke!!

Okay, as a parts manager at a local dealership, I get calls all the time with people promising to be the best. Thus far, nobody has put their money where their mouth is like Luke from Remington Auto Salvage. Our first interaction was pretty typical, just a casual call, joking around, and he wasn't pushy, he just left me with his number and said to call him if there was anything in the future. About a month later, I had a situation where I needed a salvage part and I needed it fast to satisfy an upset customer. As if by fate, there was the sticky note with Luke's name and number on it, and I thought "what the hell" and gave him a shot. So get this, I ordered the part from Luke, and not only was the price fair and the shipping cost low, but it arrived to me WAY faster than I expected. I'm not saying I was upset with the timeframe he gave me, I'm just saying that I was blow away by how quickly it actually got to me. It might not be the case with every part every time, but damn. That was quick. I've called Luke and bought parts from him three times so far, and his work is precise, courteous, friendly, and most of all consistent. If you haven't yet, give these guys a shot!

I used to say they were by far a 5 star. Clean and courteous when you want to buy something. But when it comes to warranty they are horrible. I recently bought a Subaru transmission, Bought the 2 year extended warranty for parts and Labor. It made it a week and something happened inside the transmission. The warranty guy calls and was trying his best to find any technicality to deny warranty as fast as they could. They finally found their reason to deny it "wasn't wrote on the original RO so evidently you didn't do this" Even after pictures and proof of all the fluids being full, and installed by my ASE master technician that verified all the fluids were at the correct levels before it left. The warranty company tried trapping me into saying we didn't know what we were doing. I verified with my tech and i personally verified the correct differential level. and even sent pictures of the fluid level. I tried working with the salesman to get any refund and it was a stiff NO, but he said I could buy another transmission at full price again... Not happening. I leave very few reviews but once I've exhausted my energy to poor customer service this is where it ends. Cost me another $3k but won't be buying anything here again.

This is the only place that I go for vehicle parts. Every time that I call, they are happy to hear from me and happy to help! I do most of the work on my vehicles on my own so, being able to do so with the affordable prices that they offer makes it so much more worth it. The entire staff is very friendly and super easy to work with but, I have give a huge shout out to Luke! He is very knowledgeable about both vehicles and the merchandise that they have on hand and is able to quickly and accurately find the parts that I need. Anybody out there looking for working, affordable parts, give them a shout! You’ll be very happy with the outcome!

Called in to see if they had the part I needed was greeted by Tony who was patient with me and very knowledgeable. He even tried to get all the parts I needed together to help me save on shipping. Can't wait to get my parts and will update when they are received.
***Update : This has been the best experience ever! Parts were shipped extremely fast over the holiday weekend. Tony messaged me on Friday saying they pulled the part and were shipping it out to me. I had it on Monday! Boxes were packaged extremely well. It took some time as I needed additional parts that I couldn't get from a donor car and were made custom (did a conversion) but after testing I'm extremely happy with my purchase everything worked and was exactly as described. Remington auto salvage is the ONLY place I would trust to buy parts from in the Chippewa Valley. Dustin was my sales associate and went above and beyond in customer service to help me. They delivered my engine safely, quickly and it was a free.
There was a small concern about the 2007 Lincoln MkX engine but the owner Bob called me and the shop owner where my vehicle was and took care of everything over and beyond the kind of service you see these days. I was actually amazed to be treated with so much care as a customer and a satisfied one at that. These are upstanding people and the employees are great. Helpful group. Had what I needed. Only receiving 4 stars bc I think they forgot to process my order and I had to call back a couple days later and ask what the status was. Price was same as was on Amazon.
