My 2005 audi started shaking a ton while I was driving near Marshall. I called repair shops all around the area and they all said it would be over a week until they could look at it. Nuelk’s was able to look at it the same day I brought it in, he replaced a spark plug, and I was very appreciative of the quick service. I would definitely recommend.

As a former mechanic, Mike here at Nuelks is the ONLY shop I can recommend to friends and family. Mike is EXTREMELY fair on pricing, does very good work and is just a pleasure to work with in all regards. I am often shocked and repulsed by the insane price charged at dealerships (stealerships); and having worked at many of those places, I am all too aware of the shoddy work being done at other shops&stealerships. I do most of my own repairs for friends&family but when I don't have time, this is the only place I will go. I now live over an hour away but I would rather haul my car to Mike versus trusting anyone else!

Mike is a nice and honest guy - I really appreciated the way he spoke to me, explained things and was able to fit my car in quickly for an appt. I'll be using Nuelk's for my future mechanic needs, great experience.

This is a fantastic garage! When we first contacted Mike, he went out of his way to help us out with no questions asked and he didn't charge us for his time. A few days later we had him do work on our car. He kept in great communication the entire time, completed the work in a very timely manner, and did it all at a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone!

This man is an absolute god send, I went in for inner and outer tie rods on both sides and he not only called me to inform me the rust on my vehicle was horrible, but said when I was ready to get a new one to call him and he would make sure it was good to go before purchasing. He also only replaced the tie rod that was necessary since I was tight on money. I went in today for my engine fan not working and he let me know my radiator was leaking as well. When I told him I called around and found one for $235 he gave me a contact that not only sold a radiator for $99 but delivered it to my house within an hour! Saying he is reasonable is a dramatic understatement! This man cares about his clients and their genuine interest and wellbeing, not just making a quick dollar. This is THE ONLY SHOP I will be taking any vehicle I own moving forward! Much love!!!!??

Had my daughters car towed in needing a starter. After a debacle with towing and the car arriving to Mike way later than we arranged, he still got it right in and had the work done very quickly. Thanks for your great service. Jim K.

Mike is a wonderful mechanic who is honest, fair, and always goes above and beyond to provide the best service possible. Hands down the most reasonable prices around when you need to have any work done on your vehicle, minor or major! There is no other place that I will take my vehicle when I need work done, other than Nuelk’s Garage in Marshall.

I had reached out to Mike to check his availability as he was highly recommended by a trusted friend. He responded quickly, provided the necessary information, and we set up the time of my appointment. I showed up at his shop and he was direct in letting me know that I might experience a wait due to a parts problem that came up unexpectedly with another vehicle. I was grateful for the communication and that he was even able to see me on a Friday due to my limited schedule. I settled down to wait and was pleasantly surprised that he finished the oil change and other maintenance in hardly any time at all. He restored the much needed air to my tires as I had requested and fixed the maintenance required light on my car. His quote for his services was accurate and within my budget. Mike himself was both friendly and efficient. Despite the distance from where I live, I'm happy I entrusted him with the care of my vehicle. I will definitely return again. Thank you, Mike!

My car unexpectedly died in a parking lot nearby and I'm not from the area. Called roadside assistance to have it towed to the nearest garage and I was incredibly lucky to find Nuelk's. I spoke with the owner over the phone before my car arrived and he could hear my serious distress regarding the situation. Mike put my car as first priority the next morning, diagnosed the issues with accuracy, explained what caused the problems, and had my car ready to go without hurting me on bank. I'm switching mechanics based on this experience not only for the speedy repair and professionalism, but additionally for the kindness I was bestowed in such a dire situation. The 5.0 rating is legitimately earned here. Newly acquired long-time customer!

Mike is the best! I'd give this business 6 stars if I could. He came in early and stayed late to finish my car. His prices are fair and he gets the job done right. If you need any* work done come here, you will not be disappointed.

Had a screw in my tire. Called up and fit me in right away and was out the door in 10 minutes with a brand new plug!!!!! Thanks again I really appreciate the professionalism and kindness. Also very considerate and understanding! Highly recommended!!

A great person that does quality work at reasonable billing. Mister Nuelk is a breath of fresh air ! Easy to talk too about what's up with your vehicle and is a kind , knowing person. He gets it right the first time.You won't be disappointed when he says it's fixed !

Mike didn't know me from "Adam", I'd never been a customer of his. Called him out of the blue early on a Monday.....had a tire leaking air. I had not had luck "getting in" to have anyone look at this for me (we're getting ready to head out for vaca to boot) and when I called Mike said" c'mon over, I can get you taken care of". I literally was there in 10 minutes and 10 minutes later he had my problem fixed and I was on my way! How's that for fast and friendly service! Unfortunately service like that is rare these days. The last time I needed a tire plugged I removed the tire, took it to the repair facility and had to leave it there the whole day to have a plug put in! As I said, I had not been a customer of Mike's but if he will have me I will be in the future! Thanks Mike...I'd rate you 10 stars if there were a 10 Star rating!

I own a bunch of cars. Mike Nuelk has work on all of them, from a Ford FestivA to a Porsche Boxster. He completes all jobs on schedule and on estimate. Also,. he is a very easy and accommodating person to work with. We all could learn a little from his excellent customer service. I highly recommend Nuelk's garage.

Mike has been my trusted mechanic for the last 5 years. I know that he will always give me a straight answer and go above and beyond in his customer service. Keeping me informed about timelines, costs, and work required. Mike also does a great job at keeping you informed of what preventative work you may need vs immediate work. I try to do my own maintenance and repair but I do so with the comfort of knowing that my Mechanic (if things go south) has my back. :)

Mike has been my mechanic for many years here in Marshall. A rare mechanic who will not try to oversell services you do not need, but be honest about what needs attention sooner than later. I have had oil changes, brakes replaced, battery replaced, windshield wipers, and other tune up services through the years to keep my Honda's running smooth. HIGHLY recommended.

Took our '05 Rav 4 to Nuelk's for the first time for rear brake job and Mike was great to work with. Super nice guy, he explained everything to us, work was done on-time as promised, and we got a call when everything was done. Couldn't be happier with the quality of service and price.

We have gone to Nuelk's since he opened. It is so great to have someone you trust to work on your vehicles. Mike has stayed late to finish my husbands truck when he was going out of town. It is difficult to find someone you trust, also a huge plus that he is in our town!

Mike is always the most reasonably priced mechanic in Dane and the surrounding counties. He does a great job and have never had a single complaint. I would highly recommend Nuelks Garage for all your car needs

Mike's done some work on my F-150 a few times now. He's very prompt and courteous, and his customer service is great! I had some brake work done there. About a week after the brake work, I experienced some loud grinding. I inspected the brake area and all seemed to be fine. I had it towed to Nuelks, and he took everything apart and looked around free of charge. He didn't find anything wrong, but the problem went away. As I mentioned, very happy with that type of customer service!

Very few businesses exhibit "5-star" customer service these days... However, I without hesitation, rate Nuelk's Garage *****! My brother and mom had a flat tire/blow out... I tried to help, but I couldn't. Not being local to Marshall, I drove to first "Garage" i saw and explained the situation (the car was about two miles away, and asked if someone could come out and help...) I was told "give me 15-20 minutes..." We then drove to ATM to get money out, and then to car... the owner was there 5 minutes later... loosened our lug-nuts, jacked up car, put on "doughnut tire" tightened lug-nuts... in a matter of ten minutes. He asked for $20! (We gladly gave him $30). That is AMAZING service!

I have a Mercedes SL 500 which most garages would not venture to even think of working on. Mike took on a difficult project and he fixed it with flying colors. He is honest and has fair prices. I would highly recommend him to anyone for anything.
