I had a turn signal bulb go out on a late Saturday afternoon. I called and spoke to a very knowledgeable young lady by the name of Ivy. She reassured me she could help me with procuring the bulb and she would be able to replace it for me. I appreciate everything you did for me so kindly, efficiently and professionally. This meant ALOT to me!
I live in Brooklyn WI. This Memorial day, I drove to Chicago O'hare Airport to pick up a friend coming back from Thailand. As we pulled into his driveway (he lives in Columbus, WI), my "Check Engine" light came on. I happen to keep a code reader in the vehicle, so I checked the code. I drove over to the O'Reilly auto parts store in Columbus and was greeted very warmly by Cody. He confirmed my code and came out to look at my vehicle. He noticed that my air intake hose leading to the engine didn't have a clamp and was loose. He then promptly retrieved the proper sized clamp and installed it for me on the spot. He informed me that the code should reset after about 50 miles worth of driving. It's 42 miles from the O'Reilly store to my home. I got home, turned off my car and restarted it. Just as Cody said, the Check Engine light was off. The level of service I recieved from Cody was next level. He also noticed that I was retired Military when he looked at my license plate and made sure I received a 10% discount. Total cost for the great service you ask? $2.67 with discount. This was a great experience for this old Soldier on Memorial Day. Thanks Cody.
We have tried many times to get parts from there. Call in to get the part then go in to pick up and they can't find it on their shelf despite the computer saying they have the part in stock. Had happened several times. And their scanner doesn't work. Don't have issues in other locations. Only this one repeatedly.
it's Sunday morning. And I'm waiting in the parking lot with other customers for them to open. According to their hours they should have been open 10 min ago...
I'm guessing this is just a McDonalds with car parts.
The two workers that I encountered there were so helpful and so so nice they made me laugh. I walked there to get a spark plug for my lawn mower, they made sure that I was taken care of before I left. Now that's what I call customer service.
I have to give these guys a five-star review. Usually when a petite woman goes into an auto parts store, she gets treated in a condescending manner. These guys were respectful, helpful, and cheerful! There was no trying to upsell, just tell me the facts and let me decide which direction I wanted to go with my purchase. They helped me replace the bulbs in my headlights without making me feel helpless. This will be my go-to auto parts store because of the exceptional service and common respect that they gave me. In my 3 hour trip I needed to stop here x2, in 2 different places. Explained my problems to both salesman and they helped me decide what to do and helped me fix it.
The employees of this store were very helpful! Went above and beyond to help me with a flat tire and were sure to check if I needed anything else. Great people!
Needed to get my battery tested they were friendly and helpful. Only problem is small store so if one employee is on break you will have to wait a little while because the other employee cannot leave the story empty while outside.
Absolutely thrilled with my experience here. I walked in looking for new wiper blades knowing the handy computer in the section would tell me what to get. The gentleman behind the counter (Shane?) told me about a sale on a specific one and I was sold. The young gentleman who was also behind the counter put them on for me. This definitely makes up for my last visit when I needed to put 3 quarts of oil in my truck. The woman behind the counter barely offered any advice and when I asked her to borrow an employee to help me put oil in my truck because I’m short, she basically blew me off. Someone that wasn’t even employed there offered to help me. So thank you Shane and young man from Colorado for restoring my faith in your store.
I had a very wonderful surprise tonight when I stopped into O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Columbus. I needed a brake light and the young man helping me (his shirt said his name was Seth) asked if I would like the light installed or would I prefer to take it home and put the light in myself. I was tickled pink to have him install it. I felt bad when it turned out to be a big pain and it was windy, dark and cold, but he very kindly replaced the bulb, and was super nice while doing so. Chivalry and customer service are not dead!
The above review was supposed to be sent this winter but apparently I didn't send it. Update, I needed a headlight for my car and stopped into O'Reilly;s tonight and the same young man sold me the headlight and installed it as well. I will buy my parts here. Thank you Seth!
