Brought some copper I had to the guys down road before I went here. The way I was treated was unacceptable. I packed up the copper and went to these guys. The folks at Alter were kind, helpful, and answered every question I had. Very polite and made the process very smooth. I’d recommend bringing ALL of my scrap to Alter. Good group of people in that yard.
Very friendly...fair pricing...should have more parking in the main weigh station lot by the main office, semis and trailers were parking people in while they went into office and the office had about 12 people inline...now that, We were NOT happy about!! Other than that, great service!
They weren't the fastest, I had to wait for a large truck in front of me. You also have to trust their weight since their scale is out of your view. But I got money for what I brought and that's the important part.
For being one of the biggest recycling plants in NorthEast Wisconsin, they aren't bad for a corp. Bring in a hundred kilos of aluminum and they treat you well with going dollars.
