Tyler (#153) really helped my dad and me out on this Saturday afternoon when our vehicle unexpectedly stopped in the middle of a rural road. He arrived within 25 minutes and had the Jeep loaded up in about 5. He was very kind and professional, and my dad in particular had a lot of fun talking to him. The whole thing cost just under $120, which we thought was very reasonable for a tow. Big thanks!
unprofessional and will straight up lie about their storage prices to your face. Called and asked for the price of my vehicle after getting it towed from an accident by the cops. They told me, and I quote: "it will be $555 and storage is $40 every day." I show up a day later and luckily I brought extra cash with me, because it turns out, they charged me $250 for storage, more than a hundred dollars over what I had been informed of. I was in tears when I paid. Money is unbelievably tight for many, especially for me, and getting that sort of surprise is not something anyone deserves. The woman at the counter was snippy and unprofessional— and of course, her and the men in the back spent nearly 5 minutes chatting it up before helping me both times I was in the building. Oh, and also, good luck finding your car in that maze of tightly packed vehicles, because the wreckers in back won't be any help.
Don't bother, the lady I was talking to over the phone was very rude and unprofessional as if they simply wanted not to be bothered. I settled with fox city's towing...
I've contacted crosby multiple times in the past and no one cared to rectify the situation then. Now you want to act like you care because its in your reviews. Worst part is bad reviews won't affect your business anyway because of the contract you have with the green bay police department. When you damage a customer vehicle while towing it and then lie and say your company didnt do it. Very professional..... you costed my company a customer. No way to fix that besides using your competitors and telling everyone I know how you screw people over.
I had a great experience with this company. Quick answer to my phone call, quick to get to me, transparent with the cost, and friendly service. Definitely recommend their services!
So thankful that Crosby wrecker service was available to help us! The tow truck driver was by us in a timely manner, he was kind, knowledgeable about the situation, and got the job done.
Been meaning to put a review on here for everybody to see this is a great place to get a towing from. I’ve had two different cars towed by this company very very professional clean trucks and their drivers are clean and professional. I would recommend this company 100 times over also their prices are very very Reasonable I had my vehicle towed to Fond du Lac, and the prices were exceptional. I was surprised.
Extremely expensive and super bad service charged 500 dollars to move a car to the yard 4 minutes away. Their stuff is extremely disrespectful and have such a poor customer service I would not recommend and on top of that they dragged my car with their towed truck instead of using dollys like a professional
Nice enough guy, really uncomfortable when he showed up in a Trump hat. Asked if he could avoid more damage, "what do you want me to do?" Not a trustworthy thing.....
0 stars! The owner is NEVER around and when she does call back, she is condescending, patronizing, and completely lacking in customer service. Their astronomical fees and policies end up costing the customer several hundred dollars for only a few hours that a vehicle is on their lot (I was surprisingly told there is NO way to document when a vehicle arrives on the lot). In looking at the amount of 1 star reviews on Yelp for this company, I don't know how they stay in business!
Thankfully I was in a parking lot when my cv axle decided to break while pulling into a parking spot. He took his time so my car wouldn't get damaged while putting it on the flat bed and taking it off. He was awesome though the whole experience very nice!
Never a good experience when your car gets impounded. But heavy duty Crosby definitely does make it better. Always have worked with me and never been disrespectful.
I can’t say enough for Josh and their wrecker service. I think they arrived in under 10 minutes when I somehow locked my keys in the car with my baby in today. Fast friendly and didn’t even charge me. Thank you for getting us out of a stressful situation!!!
My car happened to break down near their shop later at night and one of the guys came outside to check on me & offer some help. I didn't get the guys name but he was super friendly & didn't have to come check on me after hours like that during winter.
Went through my roadside assistance. This company accepted the service call. 1 hour later I call them and they say they did not receive the information for the call. Which I know as a wrecker operator is a lie. They have to accept it from the provider or it doesn't get dispatched to them. So my insurance calls them and Crosby's tell them they no longer will do the service through the insurance and I now have to pay out of pocket. Not sure what kind of scam this is but it worked this Time since it's cold and my wife and daughter are out in the cold.
Last night after driving home after the “snow squall” I took the Mason Street exit coming from 41 south. It was extremely icy and the right lane of the two lane exit had multiple cars stuck with their hazards on. I switched from the right lane to the left and I proceeded to struggle to get up the ramp and when I noticed I put my hazard lights on. Behind me was the Crosby towing truck and he honked at me multiple times (even though he could see my hazards were on and clearly struggling on the icy road). I was finally able to make it past the car in the right hand lane (still struggling) I managed to shimmy over to the right lane where the truck proceeded to honk at me again and flip me off. If this is how the treat people during obviously crap weather I don’t even want to know how they treat their customers on a regular day. I will make sure to tell everyone never to use this company.
Matt was OUTSTANDING!!!! The nicest guy. Made sure my daughter and I were ok. Was so helpful and courteous towards us. Stayed with until we were picked up even. 100% recommend. And personally will never use another towing service other than Crosbys in the future! Top notch!
I called Crosby's after my car broke down in the pouring rain, and I had my 3 kids with me. The tow truck got there within 15 minutes, the price was reasonable, and the process couldn't have been easier. Thank you for making a very frustrating experience so much better!
Avoid at all cost, outrageous charges, and rude. Inconsistent pricing if you read the reviews people were charged anywhere between 15 to $70 a day to have them store the vehicle in their lot plus if you have been in an accident or anything to do with the police having your car towed look forward to extra miscellaneous charges that could equal anywhere from $200 to $500( not pending on mileage.)
Response time to get my truck was prompt and the driver took care loading my classic truck. But while unloading it he just completely unhooked it from the winch and tilted the deck then jumped in and forced it out of park rolling it off the deck. This improper procedure may have further damaged my transmission. Driver definitely needs to be retrained in proper unloading procedures.(I speak from experience since I have driven a roll back myself.) Price was reasonable.
These folks are amazing. Integrity and honesty, as a bedrock to everything else they do. Even in a bad situation I was fortunate to interact with this company!!
Over all it was ok. Called, explain the truck slides to the ditch how much for not really much work. Was told $500. Ok the guy came in 50 minutes pulled the truck out. Then bill was for 935. When asked that we talked about 500 said that it took him almost an hour so had to be 935 with some other fee. Stated that I told them it was easy job and truck was on the side of the road when in fact it was deep in swamp. Any way, I consider 50 minutes as an easy job in towing. Would be ok if it was 600-700 but not twice as much as what we talked about. Personally I think it was greedy. They were like 3 miles a way from the truck. Didn’t even have to tow. So yes. Get price per hour, service call whatever and then just watch to make sure they work for their money. Ask all the fees and then at the end you will get fair price. Otherwise you will pay on demand. Get educated so there is no chance to cheat. At least in this case they will work for their money.
Very professional! Ed took care of my boat/trailer, he got on time, took extra time to make sure everything is done safe, very careful with loading the boat/trailer on the platform. I would recommend to anyone! Thank you Ed again for the good job!
I had an axle shaft and wheel come off of the axle axle housing and left me stranded. I called Crosby and their driver Ed was there super quick! I thought the price was very fair considering it was a Sunday evening. Ed was amazing, he was very friendly and super helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone.
Very professional. We were stranded three hours from home with a flat early on a Sunday morning. Called and Ed picked up immediately. Said he could be to us in a little while, but he was across town. It was literally no more than 15 minutes and he was there. He encouraged us to let him put the donut on rather than a tow. Not only would it save us money, but it gave us flexibility to get to the earliest possible repair appointment. Costco's earliest appointment was 5:00pm but with the donut we were able to drive directly to a Tires Plus that had openings. He clearly would have been willing to give us a tow, but guided us to the decision that was best for us, not the one that would have put more money in his pocket. Thank you!
My husband called this place highway robbery. My husband was in an accident on the highway 2 miles away involving 7-8 cars. He had a tow truck he called. It didn’t come soon enough so cops called this place. First off they charged us $35 for the cops calling. Secondly, they charged $105 for storage for two days even though it’s supposed to be only $35/day. They must charge you $35 just to drop it off. On top of that there’s an additional $35 labor fee (why isn’t that included in a tow?) And the tow itself for a two mile two was $225. Totaling $422.
On top of this, when they picked up the vehicles, they towed two at a time. Meaning they probably made close to $800 for towing two vehicles two miles. If anyone was in financial hardship this unexpected slap in the face would be devastating on top of losing a vehicle and potentially having medical bills due a no-fault accident.
Not only that but they were fairly rude to me as I went to help pick up items even though I was the registered owner, treated me like a thief as if I couldn’t have been back there and checked in at the office.
I would NEVER recommend this place. It seems they just take advantage of people who are in a vulnerable circumstance.
I ran over a metal shard somehow and had a tire blow out on my way to school on the highway. They arrived super fast and the driver was very friendly. Took my car directly to the shop I asked him to with no problems at all. Thanks!
