Best auto shop in southern WI. Outstanding service and a great team. Dennis Mann's service and experience is second to none. He used to be the service manager at Pomp's Tire in Monroe, WI before he moved to Kundert Auto. I followed him there with all my families automotive needs because he always goes the extra mile in customer service and makes things right after the service if needed. The team at Kundert's is top notch, my family and I have six vehicles in their service care, and we wouldn't take them anywhere else. If you need a hard to find part, Dennis will find it for you. Scheduling appointments is easy and quicker than most places. The mechanics are super. The pricing is reasonable. You simply can't do better than this team!
I use Kundert when any of my vehicles need servicing. From wear parts like brakes, tires to work on my 4x4 or suspension, they've done a good job at a fair price.

My dad no longer lives in Monroe but still likes to make the 3+ hour drive from his new home to the Monroe area for hunting in the fall. Before his trip, he had his oil changed at a different maintenance shop near his current home and then drove to Monroe last weekend for hunting. However during his drive to Monroe, he realized part of the front paneling of his SUV was starting to come off and was hanging precariously from the car.
Having used Kundert Auto when he used to live in Monroe, he took his SUV there to see if they could help. They took him in right away. It turns out the other maintenance shop had forgotten to screw in some bolts after his oil change. They corrected the other shop's error and fixed his car up so he could be on his way. He was very impressed with the service and extremely appreciative of how Kundert Auto helped him out in such a pinch. We would highly recommend using Kundert Auto & Truck Service for any vehicle maintenance needs!
Brought my car in for an oil change and was really impressed with how prompt and professional the team was. They got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time, and the price was very fair. I took my 1985 pontiac parisienne to Kundert's after it was running terribly. I found out that the choke was sticking and the GM carburetors in that era are known to be faulty. I took it in and they put in the new carburetor within a day or 2. Really good customer service, and also people who know what they're doing. Now the car runs better than ever.
I have had Kundert Auto Service, service my vehicles for over 35 plus years. I can always count on them, dependable and trusting them on either a short notice issue, or a normal maintenance check up. The team works with my schedules. Everyone is friendly and they are very experienced in what they do ! I couldn't think of another car service place that comes close to their experiences fixing vehicles, I would highly recommend to anyone that needs a great reliable, trustworthy car-truck mechanic ! The people at Kundert’s are Fantastic! They are always polite and genuinely care about fixing your car right the first time, instead of guessing, throwing parts at it and hoping it works. Absolutely amazed with true customer service. Oscar and Dennis were a great help when I was left stranded in a parking lot after my car did not start. I would not hesitate recommending this service department to anyone in need of automotive repairs.
This place is great! Had tires put on my car and they discovered a bad ball joint. My car was not safe to drive. They set me up with another vehicle until my car was fixed. They will not steer you wrong. I will only get tires from them as they are cheaper than the Madison area. They are fun to work with and really understand your vehicle.
While traveling cross country my front left caliper failed. Kundert took care of my car the same day at a fair price. The staff were skilled, friendly, and compassionate to my situation.
I'm very grateful to have found this shop. They turned a stressful situation into a quick resolution.

I have used Kunderts's as my go-to mechanic for the 20 years plus that they've been in business. I take my daily drivers, and have taken various collector cars there to have things done that I was incapable of doing myself or too busy, or uninterested in taking the time to do myself. When given the opportunity at work, to take my service vehicle anywhere I wanted to, of course I trusted them to do those repairs and that maintenance as well. Now several of my coworkers also have chosen them as the go-to mechanics for repair and maintenance. Jobs are always done timely, with a nod to the fact that we use these vehicles everyday and need them back as quick as possible.
I went in to get a "check engine" light looked at. There wasn't a problem according to the device they used. I appreciate the help at no cost. They explained what it was in detail and why it came on. Also, my car had to have the ac replaced on a prior visit and they did an amazing job. It works wonderfully. It was well worth the money. Kundert Auto does an exceptional job every time. I highly recommend them.
Great service and very affordable. I got an oil change and vehicle inspection from a master mechanic who I trust for less than I was paying at a dealership.
I also got a great deal on 4 tires and a alignment which I needed asap. They where able to get me in right away!

I was very pleased with the work done on my 1967 Ford Galaxie 500. The car had been in storage for many years and needed a good safety check so it was safe to drive. I was very pleased with all the work done on the car as it is much more enjoyable to drive now. I was also given a complete report on all work done. I do not trust this car with just anyone and I am very happy with the result.
Made appointment to have wheel bearing and one shock put on. Took vehicle in at 7:30 expecting to get it back after quote of three hours to fix, called at 10:30 was not even being worked on.
Picked up vehicle, drove home and experienced heavy vibration on left side of vehicle like tire out of balance.
Called them to bring back in, well they told me it would be several days before they could get to it.
I will never go back, guess I have to fix myself. Very disappointed

Kundert's was recommended by my husband uncle when our car broke down when we were in town for a family funeral. They were more then willing to get us in the same day so that we wouldn't be stranded. They did wonderful work and got the car done same for a fair price. We are very glad we took the recommendation. If we weren't from out of town we would use them for everything our car needed.
I called Kundert Auto Service when the engine on my Subaru Forester stopped 3 miles outside of Monroe. Within a few days Mike went through the engine. When he found that the engine was completely blown up he gave me a quote that included both a new factory refurbished block and a used engine. He explained to me the pros and cons of each option, and I ended up going with the new factory block. More money, but comes with a 3 year, 100k mile factory warranty. When he finished the final bill was close to his estimate and he kept me appraised of additional materials he needed. I took the car home and it ran perfectly. However after a few weeks I noticed drops of oil coming off the engine. Mike didn't ask any question and told me to drop it off. He found the source of the leaks (a couple of small O rings) and repaired them for free. He stood by his work, and never made me feel like I was imposing on his time. If I lived in Monroe he'd be my go to mechanic. I don't, so I'm going to leave this review instead so he might become your go to mechanic.
