Was driving from NC to OH on I-77 and hit a deer just coming into WV. These guys were the only ones I saw open on a Saturday. Helped me point out where the damage was, which was my coolant reservoir busted. Lent me some of their tools, sealant, fluids and duct tape then sent me on my way. Zach, Dean and another guy I didn't catch the name of came and helped me where I needed it. Chill guys and super helpful. Made it to OH just fine👍
These guys rock! They are super nice and really don't hide any problems that my car maybe experiencing. I've taken my Jeep down here for multiple visits and they always deliver on their service. I went down to get my left front tire rod replaced back in April. They found out my whole front tire rod would have to be replaced instead. However they said if I paid for the whole part alone, they wouldn't have to pay me for labor hours. I was genuinely surprised on how reasonable they were. Easily recommend. Even if you aren't close or live in Beaver it is definitely worth the trip! Thank you for all of the services you guys provide and staying friendly and professional!
I wish I could give 100 stars. The guys at Appalachian Automotive are beyond kind and professional. I am usually very uncomfortable when I go to mechanics, especially as a woman who knows NOTHING about cars. In the past, I’ve had people treat me like I’m an idiot and just be plain rude. You will NOT get that at Appalachian Automotive. They’re respectful, clean, fast, and friendly. I also feel the pricing was reasonable. I don’t know much, but it seemed fair for all the work they did for me.
Incredible service and timeliness. Extremely friendly owner and staff all around. Zach and the crew made sure our car was safe after we discovered some major issues we needed fixed, and got the car back to us quickly. The peace of mind for top quality work, and being treated with honesty and fairness is invaluable. I won't be going anywhere else but here from now on.
Appalachian Automotive was outstanding. I picked up a large nail on 64 and needed help fast—they got me in within minutes even though I was 10 miles out. The guys pulled it right in, plugged my tire quickly, and had me back on the road in no time. Super friendly crew, and the new owner seems pumped to be in the area. I’ll definitely be back!
Had my car start overheating out of Beckley. These guys got us in right away and back on the road in an hour and a half and at a very fair price. Extremely friendly and great service. Would absolutely recommend.
Great place to get some work done. They replaced my radiator to get my car back up and going and its been running like a dream. Reasonably priced and great customer service. Highly Recommend.
Absolutely AMAZING shop! We were driving home from Florida to Canada when our wheel bearing failed — they got us in right away, sourced the parts fast, and had the repair done super quickly so we could safely get back on the road.

I’ve been to them twice now , first for tires on my wife’s Subaru and then for brakes and rotors on my Nissan. The service has been excellent both times, and they’ve definitely earned my business ! Give them a chance you won’t be disappointed !
The owner is super friendly and helpful and the mechanics are knowledgeable and skilled. Their prices are either the same as or slightly cheaper than other shops. I’ve had my truck and my wife’s car there multiple times for multiple different things that keep breaking and these guys always take great care of me.
They’ve done breaks and new tires and fixed frozen windshield washer fluid on my wife’s Nissan rogue. They’ve done an oil change and water pump on my 22 Cummins. I even took them my Cummins with the dash pulled out and they replaced the heater core and put it all back together for me. I’m sure they hated me for that but they have always treated me like a friend.
Another huge note is that they have great cameras there and take your vehicles security seriously. I’ve left my truck there with thousands of dollars of tools in the back and have never had anything stolen.

I was traveling and got a engine light, Zack Barker and his team jumped on the job right away and took great care of me. Very professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the process. They explained things clearly, treated me with respect, and charged a fair and honest price. It’s refreshing to work with people who truly care about their customers. I highly recommend Zack Barker and his team.
While traveling to Virginia, we had a flat tire and had to pull over at a gas station close to Appalachian Automotive. We called them to see if they might be able to help. The owner personally came over to meet us and he took our tire back to his shop, replaced the needle valve, put the tire back on and checked air pressure in the other tires. He was incredibly kind and helpful. I haven’t seen service like that in quite some time. I would highly recommend this business.
Zach and the boys took good care of my work van. It had a complicated coolant leak and break issues. Great prices and great work! Awesome shop with a real professional vibe! Would recommend to anyone for their auto and fleet repair needs!
Wonderful people, quality work, and a great atmosphere! We just needed our tire put onto a new rim and they went above and beyond to help us make sure we had exactly what we needed for the sensors on our car. Also the price is very reasonable. Have already returned twice for other things and will continue to do so!

Absolute convenience and great customer service! Appalachian Automotive was able to service my 2025 BMW- saving me an unnecessary drive to Charleston. They did all of the same services I would receive at Moses, here at home. Time is of the essence and a business that can save me time, while offering convenience and professionalism- can consider me a forever customer. Not to mention, they beat other area tire prices by a long shot.
The best shop I’ve dealt with in Southern WV. I had to get new tires for my truck, prices were great compared to other local shops and all the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
