Very busy and computer was down todayhad to wait 30 mins or more after unloading....friendly people tho...not their fault it was a nice day out so wasn't so bad.
I’ve been to a lot of Recycling places,But by far River metals was best first time there won’t be last.Very helpful and very helpful with unloading process out of there in no time with trailer loaded down with aluminum cans
Never been to a scrap metal facility before, the guys here were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They educated me on what I had,what they paid for it and why. Will be back here exclusively everytime in the future.
No signage or directions telling where to go with what metal you’re turning in. If you go across the scales it’s for scrap value. Anything worth value is gonna be in the building on left when you pull in. Had to find that out the hard way after unloading a bunch of aluminum with some joe Biden looking dude watching me unload everything. Then a crane operator had to take time out of loading trucks to tell me I was in the wrong spot and I could’ve got more out of the load if I was at the building by the entrance. Then old dude comes over the radio and says he tried to tell me that and I wouldn’t listen and it wasn’t sorted. Kinda hard to tell me something when you stood there twiddling your thumbs doing everything but your job. The only reason this place is getting two stars is because a few of the friendly staff members that were helpful. Other than that would take my scrap elsewhere.
For the two times I’ve been in the last year, I would not recommend to anyone to recycle here. Scale lady was nice and helpful as can be, but everyone else was unprofessionally rude! There is no signs or directions posted anywhere, and if you ask for directions you are treated as a child. No help unloading or assisting at all, and if they were busy that’s understandable but sitting and starring at someone struggle and confused while being rude is unacceptable. No one is forcing you to work there or be so miserable. Do better!

Scrap copper is currently selling @ $3.50lb as of 06/26/2024
Aluminum cans are selling at .65¢ lb.
That's insane prices for this time of year.

I arrived at 3:40 pm and they refused to let me in, said they wasn't allowed overtime, with twenty minutes left before closing, nobody at all in line and absolutely refused to get a supervisor! I WILL NOT be selling my recycling materials here ever again, I had over a ton of ferrous metal and over 100 pounds of #1 copper, and other non ferrous metals! Worst business practices I've seen in a long time! False advertising for hours of operation! Best be there before 3 pm if you want to sell scrap
In and out quickly the first trip, they assisted in unloading with machine. Second load had to unload by hand while employees just stood around doing nothing.
