We were traveling from Norfolk, VA to Louisville, KY and got a nail in our tire. Called them and they said to come right over. Had us back on the road in around 30 minutes. Very nice people!
Purposely over torqued the thermostat bolts on my Mercury Grand Marquis and cracked my intake manifold after I refused repairs. Never go here. I have receipts of my service here.
I’ve been coming to this shop for about four years, and I can honestly say they’re some of the nicest, most helpful people you’ll meet. Anytime I have an issue, they get me right back in without a problem and always explain things clearly and honestly. The owner is great, and while I definitely miss seeing his mom at the front desk, the new girls are doing an amazing job super friendly and just as helpful. It’s hard to find a place you can trust with your car, but this is it. Highly recommend!

As a parent, I’m very careful about where I bring my children — and Up the Creek Auto won’t be getting a second chance. The girl running the front desk clearly missed the professionalism memo, strutting around in shorts better suited for a pool party than a workplace. Not exactly the environment I want my kids sitting in while we wait on service.
The owner? Seems like a nice enough guy, but he’s not the one calling the shots — his wife is. You barely see her, but trust me, every decision has her name written all over it. It’s like a puppet show, and he’s just trying not to get his strings tangled.
If you’re looking for a shop with class, respect, and a clue… keep driving. Fast.

I absolutely love Up The Creek Auto! Firstly, they are so kind and honest. The two ladies who work up front are so sweet and every time I have called or went in person they have listened to my concerns and questions as if they were their own! Secondly, they do not over charge and are very honest with their prices. I brought in my car to be looked at for an estimate, and I also brought in a car for pre-inspection and they didn’t charge me at all! Even the mechanics are very friendly, which has usually not been my experience in the past. I’ve went to many auto shops over the years and this is the first one that feels trustworthy and has me beyond impressed! I highly recommend!

You could pass by, drop the car, they will provide you with the diagnosis within an hour, ask for permission to proceed with fixing and providing you with the expected fees. and then after your permission get another hour to fix and handover the car.

They do great work for fair prices. They were the only ones who I got a hold of who would agree to do my exhaust manifold replacement. Would highly recommend their services. Get there early if you don't have an appointment, they're a busy shop for good reasons!

We needed an emergency repair when on vacation. Up the creek auto repair squeezed us in same day even though they were extremely busy and had our truck back to us in less than two hours. We are so grateful!! Very kind and professional service and they charged a more than fair price. Couldn't ask for anything more. They are awesome!!
I went there for the first time in early February for routine service. As I was waiting I learned that one of the employees had backed into my truck causing front end damage. The owner Jamie apologized & assessed the damage. He assured me he would pay for all the damage & repair the body damage asap. He got my truck in there about 10 days later. It took all week to repair the body damage & new paint job. After notifying me my truck was ready for pick up I went there to get it. I was very pleased with the quality of work. My truck looked better than when I initially pulled in there a few weeks earlier. They even took care of some front end scratches not related to the accident. He assured I was happy with the results & handed me a check covering my car rental for the week. Jamie is a stand up guy who does the right thing. I trust the work they do there & would recommend them to anyone considering going there. I plan on being a return customer in the future.
My daughter's 16yo boyfriend bought a car on marketplace that died after a mile. We live 2 hours from where he parked the car so we had to find a tow and someone to hold the car until we could get back to get it a few days later.
This business has extremely fair prices! We must have called 10 shops trying to find a good price after he'd spent all his money on the car. Planing to let them look at it to see what's wrong too. Super nice guy!

Great people! I recently returned to this area after a 13 year absence and I have been looking for a good garage. I wish I would have came here sooner! I can tell you where not to go but I'll save that for another review lol. Do yourself a favor and go to Up The Creek! I've been trying to get my vehicle running right for 3 weeks. These guys figured it out in one afternoon.

We recently moved to town with a car making noises and didn't know a mechanic to trust. They quickly worked us in, the staff were very kind and helpful. They explained that it was a minor issue and didn't even charge me anything for my first time visiting! I was truly stunned and taken aback by the awesome experience I had here, plus my car is no longer making noises weeks later. They are not people trying to take advantage of you but making an honest living and know what they're talking about. Don't hesitate to bring your cars here!
I was traveling from seeing a friend and something happened to my car and I had some ideas but wasn’t 100% sure I called a couple people but this place just seemed like the right place to go. My experience with them was amazing! They told me it was probably this but come to find out it was something way more cheaper than that and Jamie was a very concerned man that was worried about my well being and my safety. He explained to me and showed me everything that happened and what he was doing he used good communication skills with me. Explained the price and gave me suggestions on what to do with my problem! Not only did they safe me from being stranded but they also showed me how good people still are today in this world! The front desk lady was sweet and respectful! This place actually cares about their customers. If it wasn’t so far away I would get my car worked on here! I appreciate you all so much and thank you for all you did for me!

We love Up The Creek! Ms. Bonnie is wonderful, Jamie is fantastic, and their entire staff is great. We’ve taken our Honda Accord, Ford Explorer, and Volvo XC90 to them and every time we have received honest work and very reasonable prices. I recommend them for anything and everything. Great people and even better work.
