The lady at the counter is terrible! I was hit by a guy that didn't have insurance and she was rude treated me as though I was a criminal everyone else was nice and polite. If you're ever in a wreck have it towed somewhere else if it's not drivable unfortunately mine is totaled.
I towed a vehicle for a friend from here. We arrived right at closing time while they waited for us to arrive. After taking care of the bill, we were having trouble loading the car on the trailer because the bumper was hitting the ramps. Seeing that we were having issues, one of the gentleman leaving for the day took the time to help us out by placing 1x6s under the tires onto the ramp which made it possible to load the car and not tear up the bumper.
Quick and easy. I needed a tow, walked in, and had my car towed within the hour. Service was professional, the truck driver was friendly, and the price was reasonable. I would return for future service.
Had them haul my duramax since it was my last option and came home to a broken door handle and they wont do anything DO NOT HAVE THEM TOW YOUR VEHICLE wont even open from the outside now

I have a steep driveway. Due to snow and ice my jeep slid off to the side and the back part was down the slope. Copley’s was called because there was no way it was coming back up without help. The guys came out in a timely manner. They evaluated the scene, made a plan and started the procedure to get my jeep back on the driveway. Not only were they successful but I appreciated how friendly they were in our conversation. Professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this business!! Thank you all again!!
Yeah I can see why this was the only towing company available to tow during an emergency snow storm.

Really didn't know what he was doing kept going back and forth just guessing.
He had to call for help on a simple ditch winch out then charged me for his mistake.
For 500 an hour you expect some experience and know how. To command 500 an hour and use me for training.
The passenger sliding door on my van stopped working. I swung by Copley's to see if there was anyone working who might have an idea what was going on. The night shift worker wasn't a mechanic, but he talked things through with me and helped me figure out what's probably wrong. Really nice guy!
Great service, very nice staff! Caught a flat passing through they were quick to respond and had tires my size almost no one around had. Was towed by Ad and Mike worked on changing all 4 of my tires out. Mike even took the time to explain what caused my flat I appreciate it that. Lady at the front desk didn’t get her name but she was great as well. Definitely recommend
Thumbs down, quoted me a different price once the car was hooked up. Because he had to use “special equipment” aka he couldn’t use his jump box. American Towing is the way to go
Best service, price and quality in Charleston - have been going to Copleys for years. I had a minor issue with a tire and it was fixed and I was out in 5 minutes at minimal cost. Highly recommend!
We were driving through on our way home from vacation and something was going on with our vehicle. (It was a Sunday night, so we had to pull over and get a room for the night). We called quite a few places and no one could get us in Monday except Copleys! They even came and towed the vehicle and got us back on the road in a few hours! Very nice people and great prices !!!
Our truck slid out of our driveway and down into our neighbor's yard and we caught a few people they said they were coming never did. We called probably garage they came within 45 minutes great service nice people.
We broke down while on vacation and Copley was great from start to finish! They were one of the only places that would tow us on a Sunday late afternoon. They are affordable. The tow was quick and even gave us a ride back to our airbnb! Our vehicle had several things wrong with it and they had it fixed within 24 hours, were very reasonably priced, good communication, and were so nice! We could not be more thankful!

I'll never come back for any reason. I didnt lie to the credit card company. Funny no response until I disputed it! Check the mileage on all of my receipts. Doesn't match the lies told on driving it after each repair. I didn't have my car an hour after the last pick up & y'all charged my insurance for the tow. Asked me for my telephone number, but you had it an entire month. If I'd known owners had changed, you would've never gotten my business or referrals for others. No gasket put on after transmission pan repair. Leaked all over my driveway. Why would I continue bringing it back to keep lining pockets & depleting my resources?
4/3/23 A Iot of money, time & inconvenience. A month later, I'm still having the same issues + some that I didn't have when I brought it in.
I took my 11 year old vehicle in for a 2nd opinion after Barker's said I needed an engine.
After speaking with Lori Every Week of what else it could be and what OTHER SHOPS DID WRONG, they had to tow me an hour after they had it for the 4th ticket because it was overheating & they didn't touch the coolant???
Did I mention, they did the EXACT same thing to my daughter. Didn't need a tune up, but another 3-4 visits in repair tickets and it does????
ALSO REFERRED my neighbor and he experienced the Same issues plus some extras once he picked it up the last time. All 3 of us experienced the same issues in the month of March!
They examined my car and made repairs for a list of things no other shop even mentioned. I thought they were just tow and tires, but they're Much Much More! Building tickets & milking customers.
Very disappointed! Frustrated, Stressed & inconvenienced from someone attempting to count my money instead of just being upfront saying if you can afford to, buy another car.
Charlie came for my tow and was the greatest help! 10/10 would recommend this place and especially this driver. I was extremely nervous about how things would work and about him getting down a very twisty narrow road with the truck. He drove that road better than I ever have and made sure my car was put in a safe place. This has been the fastest my car has ever been reached and moved! A very friendly and professional person, definitely made me feel a lot more at ease about my situation!!
Contacted BMW this morning regarding an issue with my X5 they had just repaired the day before. Nate, from Copley's showed up in a timely manner, spoke with me about my vehicle and reassured me he would take good care of towing it. He was very cordial and told me he would contact me after he dropped it off...and he did just that. I will definitely use Copley's again and refer them to all my friends as well! My son broke down on Rt64 and Nate not only towed the car but picked my son up and got him out of the heat and off the highway until I could come get him. Great guy, great business, great service. Thank you again Nate and Copley’s. You guys are great.
We blew a tire heading home from Charleston and they came out late at night to tow the car and change the tire for us. Nate was amazing!! would recommend anyone to use this business. And of course ask for Nate he went above and beyond and was very friendly.
Upon my request to JD Byrider to get a tow it was told that someone would be up there to get my vehicle but told them I was unable to get up there and was waiting for a ride. Needless to say my ride never showed and they sent someone up to my vehicle anyway and said they needed the keys. I told them no they dont and the back door would open but the alarm would go off for a min. I was then told them driver was up there for an hour and finally left. Well I finally make it up to my vehicle later that evening only to find my battery missing wire's cut and catalytic converter missing. Now I don't know about you but if that car was like that when they got there they would have said something and should have said something about it. Plus I found a Diablo saw blade to cut through metal at a quick pace. These people are crooks and thieves and should never be allowed to be in service again.
I was driving back home on the interstate at night & rocks had fallen in the highway. I hit one with my passenger side tire. I pulled over quickly & heard my tire hissing air & going flat. I called my insurance company which they couldn’t find a provider to help me. I then looked in the area for a 24 hour company to help me I called Copley Garage & towing they were able to help me quickly & had to tow my car to there garage to change my spare tire & put it onto my rim. The guy who helped me was very professional & nice. Would recommend them for any roadside assistance. They are also open 24 hours which helped me greatly when I needed help at 1am. Thank you.
Staff had rude, passive-aggressive attitude with me. Called first thing in the morning after the afternoon my car was towed and asked on the status of my vehicle; lady eventually bit that she wasn’t a mechanic. (Having some estimate would have helped me determine if I were to have my car back soon or if I needed to get a rental for the week or weekend)
Called back later (after I had missed a call from them first), mechanic almost talked a mile a minute about whatever my issue was but what I did understand was that he may have it ready in an hour or so -if he wasn’t interrupted-. I passed time for that long and got there to find out my car still wasn’t tended to and I swear my bill would’ve been forty dollars more if my significant other (who was kind enough to wait for my car and bring it to me so I could get on with my own day) hadn’t filled out an employment app with the place. Was I really about to be charged for their snark and unwillingness to be more helpful?
The service call was answered within the time period promised! Nate was pleasant and easy to chat with as well as professional. I will certainly recommend Copley garage to any friends or family in need.
I just want to say that the service I received from an employee Nate Last night, or rather very early in the morning. 3am to be exact time I got a flat. THIS Man went above and beyond any and all expectations to ensure my babygirl a d I was safe and taken care of and back on the road before shop's opening up.! A true honest good person. Absolutely Amazing I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! Before calling them I called my Allstate Roadside and NO ANSWER FOR 10 MINUTES! I called them they answered immediately and had a truck there in 5 minutes ! Awesome Company with awesome experienced and Very Knowledgeable Drivers our driver was Lonnie, he was very professional and very helpful! IHopefully I wont need to call them in the future but if I have to call anyone for help I WILL CALL THEM AGAIN FOR SURE!
