My then-minor daughter totalled her yellow Ford Ranger truck.
The guy at Creamers Wrecker Service, who also manages the NAPA auto parts store, told us that he was LEGALLY OBLIGATED to have it hauled away and compacted. My wife witnessed this and heard the same thing. Imagine my surprise when I saw that someone had restored the truck, painted it with the NAPA logo, and put a cap on top. My wife and I feel that we were allegedly tricked into abandoning our vehicle.
For the record, Creamers Wrecker Service is in no way affiliated with Creamers Fast Lube or Creamers Auto Service Center. Those guys are great. Creamers Wrecker Service is owned by Mike Mood.
To be fair, Mr. Mood disagrees with our version of events, but my wife and I both heard the same thing.
Set up a time for them to move a machine for me days in advance. Morning of and they're a no show. Call and get a story about the truck breaking down and that they'd be with me shortly. Radio silence after that. Wouldn't answer the phone or communicate at all after that. Won't use again.
Bunch of scam artist, Trying to scam everybody they can for every dollar they can! My daughter had a wreck on a Friday. I pick the car up on a Saturday and charged me $450 to tow it from Shepherdstown to Charlestown and they told me the reason it was so high was because it was on a weekend.! And because the police called!! They towed it on a Friday So they overcharged me for that! And the cops asked me where I wanted it towed so they overcharged me for that!! Don’t ever use these guys!
Our experience with creamers was due to a landlord/tenant dispute and we will just say, they were clearly friends with the landlord. Creamers towing worker Randy, came to MY PROPERTY (that I have a legally signed lease with landlord for) and towed a LEGAL vehicle from the property, per the landlord because of “back rent owed” although we already have a court date set for the 23rd of this month, and our lease states we are allowed access to garage, driveway, and basement, that our landlord signed. And they refused to look at the legally binding lease, they refused to hear what we had to say, and illegally towed a work truck, due to a tenant and landlord dispute. Hmmmm seems like our landlord may have a friend working for creamers towing. And then when speaking to the “manager” of creamers towing, he was “full aware” of the situation and had already seen a lease, which Wesley Holmes provided an inaccurate and not legal lease to get them to tow a truck illegally. They will be hearing from my lawyers along with giving me my truck back for free! Do not choose this towing company, but instead choose RC towing! Way more professional and wouldn’t illegally tow vehicles!
Attached is the “lease” he provided this tow company, that says we are to park ON THE PAVED DRIVEWAY, where this tow company towed my work truck from. Off of the paved driveway. And we have a scheduled court date with our landlord, so NOTHING has been decided with the courts.
