I stopped in to ask if they were able to do a OBD2 scan on my vehicle. I was the only customer in the store at the time and the gentleman acted like I was a huge interruption to him. When we were walking to the door, I added that the check engine light was just reset about an hour prior but the vehicle was barely able to make it up their driveway. The gentleman stopped just prior to walking out the door and said that running a scan would not show anything and refused to even try. Well I had a friend bring me his OBD2 scanner ( a cheaper one he purchased from Walmart ) and it was able to pick up 4 codes and with the check engine light NOT on.
I would have made the $358.79 ( I took the time to check what it would have cost if I did order from this purchase at this Carquest if the guy would have done this. I ended up having everything shipped the next day from Amazon for about $95.00 cheaper.
I love buying from this place, when Im in the area, a few years ago our car alternator went out I believe this guy/owner went out and put it in the alternator on in his parking lot cause we was broke down and didn't ask for a penny they are truly amazing people we will always remember that day
This is my first time dealing with Hedgesville Auto Parts and it will NOT be the last! They were very helpful and assured me in solving my problem on a hard to find item that the manufacturer could not get right!
The first attempt did not work out due to the fact that the manufacturer had boxed the wrong part in the correct box! After some measurements and talking with Denny, he brought in a second part that worked great!

Great place to buy auto parts. The owner is a wonderful Christian man who treats everyone with honesty and respect. All car parts are foreign made no matter who sells them , so it's all about the business who's selling.
It's a great place to get parts they know how to treat customers and the parts I've got from that store is better and cheaper priced with a longer warranty
The guy that owns this place knows nothing of vehicles but attempts to convince you that a spindle and axle are the same part. Was looking for a spindle nut or hub assembly for 95 F150 and he tells us that they don’t have just the nut. Expecting us to leave, we asked if we could get his price to compare to others since advance wanted $78 for theirs. The only answer I got was “expensive”. What a Way to want to keep business or bring in new customers, wish I had all his money to own a business and not want customers.
went in for a certain type of air filter for my wife's Honda they had Quality Parts there and the price was right and the service was excellent! I think they got everything in there but the kitchen sink. I would recommend them highly
Owner has a piss poor attitude. Asked him one question and he had to start being a smartass and walked away. I'll travel the extra 10-15 minutes to Advance or Autozone where the staff is friendly when I need anything.
