Just spent two months hauled out at Jensen's. Friendly staff and a knowledgeable team of dedicated professionals. I will be spending more time as I plan on painting hull and deck this summer.
One of the worst experiences ever had getting something repaired. After they worked on my boat, I had to take it to three other shops just to figure out what they didn't put back together correctly. Beware of what Jensen Boatyard says they can do and what they can actually do. It cost me another $5,000 just to fix what Jensen didn't fix correctly and they took zero responsibility.
Never, ever let them touch your boat for repairs. Five months, several tens of thousand's of dollars, two other boat repair shops to troubleshoot the repairs Jensen made (were suppose to have made) and my boat is finally in seaworthy condition. I had a choice after hitting a log outside Friday Harbor to take it to Jensen or have the boat towed across to Anacortes. Boy did I make a mistake. I could go into detail, but I don't have the energy to deal with this issue anymore and I just want to forget about the experience. Currently, I am just trying to get back from Jensen some of the $5,000 I had to spend out of my pocket to other boat shops to troubleshoot bad repairs made by Jensen. You have been warned!
