This place is a rip off! I’m the registered owner and My cousin is the legal owner. The 2 of us went down to pick up the car with our drivers license and they wouldn’t release it after JESSICA was aware the my cousin was on bed rest from a surgery and didn’t want to come down to Tacoma from Graham. Then was told to come with title and bill of sale came down with that and then there was another issue she said my bill of sale wasn’t valid because it was hand written. Now the bill is almost at 900 now tomorrow again I will go up there and try again. The stuff they do is unlawful and they just get away with it. With the holiday around the corner I will be at least a grand less to buy for my family, thanks to Gene’s Towing!!!! If this has happened or something similar to you or someone you know, give them 1 star and share the experience.
I generally don't take time to do reviews. Valerie(I apologize if I spelled that incorrectly) was incredible! The guys that came to pick up my vehicle were awesome. I went through the Tacoma branch. Valerie is truly kind, genuine, and intentional. She is a breath of fresh air. If you want a great experience, in a stressful situation. These are your go to people.
Got towed yesterday by Nacho, super chill guy and he made it a quick and simple process. Great guy deserves a raise for sure. If I ever need a tow in the future I will definitely pick Gene’s Towing and ask for my guy Nacho.

It's never fun to have to call a Tow Company, but if you do, Gene's Towing is the company to call!!! Each employee was friendly and kind, from Cindy who first answered my call to the two employees who came to tow our vehicle. They also arrived before the alloted time of an hour. You will not be disappointed calling Gene's if you need a tow!
I had called another tow company at 5 o’clock in the morning and scheduled an 8 AM tow, when I called at 8:06 they told me the driver was 30 minutes out when I called at 8:45. They told me the driver was 20 minutes out and when I called at 9:15 to cancel the driver told me he was 20 minutes out when I called Genes towing the driver got there in under an hour. He was very nice and very quick. He brought the car to the destination, and I was still able to make my appointment although I was late due to the previous tow company. Next time I’ll just call Genes.
Gene's saved me from a AAA disaster and was there in less than 45 minutes. The driver (forgot his name unfortunately) was super nice, helpful and the bright spot in an otherwise crappy day. I'll recommend Gene's to anyone.
After a truly horrific 3 day experience with triple A, fed up I was recommended to call Gene's. What a savior! The driver arrived super quickly, got my car hooked up and moved from a difficult spot. He was friendly and professional. I won't bother with triple A anymore, go strait to Gene's.
Service was great come in 15 minutes after my call and the driver (Chris) is friendly, helpful and professional. I would recommend this towing company to anyone.
My driver was super professional. Obviously well experienced with the use of his truck. We definitely asked him to do some weird off-the-shelf things and he got it done for us! Everyone in the office was pleasant to deal with and the price was well worth what I got.
Genes towing was there promptly when I was stranded in the rain and dark. Chandler was efficient, polite and prompt. I will recommend them and actually used them twice.
Called at 3:42pm on a busy Friday afternoon. When I called back at 4:38 because my mechanic was going to close at 5pm. they had already contacted my mechanic to make sure someone would be there to receive the car. I did not down grade them for time as I've waited over 2 hours before for a tow with another company who just kept updating, "We're on our way!" Once on scene the care was picked up quickly and on its way.
Driver came super quick and was very friendly. I was confident that our trailer would make it to the shop safe and sound. We were just passing through but pass that way often enough so the will be saved to the phone in the hopes I never need them again.
Fantastic! My car went crazy stopped working. My friend who came to help me told me to call Gene's Towing, so I did and absolutely am thankful that I did. Gene's was fast and dependable. The entire experience was excellent. It was estimated that it would be an hours wait, but about 10 minutes later, I received a call that he was on his way. My broke down car was back at home within an hour! It's December 4, 2024, and we have been socked down with fog and just generally bad weather and driving conditions. It was at night around 5:30 with heavy traffic and a lot of accidents so I thought it would be an hour or more. Praise God, it was fast and cost about $200.
Houston got a truck to me faster than i think she figured. Driver was quick, professional and friendly. Would recommend them to anybody. I will definitely use them again.

It’s never a good day when you have to call a tow truck, . Gene’s towing was able to come out to our job site and recover our truck. When I called, Alice was very helpful in our time of need. And, in what seemed like no time at all, “JR” or “junior” showed up and recovered our truck safely and without causing property damage to our truck or customers property. I highly recommend genes towing, from the customer service all the way to the recovery of our truck to AP Brenda helping us out. All around good experience. Thank you Gene’s. Y’all have a great team in Tacoma!
I would give MORE stars if I could. They were amazing. Helped me every second of the way through a terrible and traumatic car incident. Even advised me through making a worse decision for my vehicle and safety and gave me a better recommendation. Can't say enough wonderful things, and charged me a VERY fair price.
Mike at Genes towing Puyallup was particularly skilled and somehow placed an immovable classic into a space to small for his rollback to access.impressive.

The driver kept us informed of his arrival time, he was prompt and very personable. I was extremely nervous about the cost but it ended up being less than I expected. Great value and service!
Excellent service. Was hoping to find my car key inside my unlocked car, but it wasn’t there. I asked the driver if I would need to call in and schedule a tow to the dealer, and he said he could take care of that right away. So easy!
The gentleman was rather knowledgeable to solve my problem. He was able to get me access to my truck again in like 2 minutes. I forget the guy’s name now but he was very friendly and nice. He definitely knows his works pretty well. Kudos!
Overall great experience! CJ was extremely helpful with my situation. She definitely went above and beyond with her customer service. Dan was great too. He was very friendly. Also, the tow didn’t cost me an arm and a leg like I anticipated.
I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact they were an hour late from the time I made the appointment the day before which then made me an hour late to my appointment at the dealership. Overall though I had no other issues & the price was not bad it was about what I expected. The driver was nice & even taught me something about my truck I didn’t even know about.
I read the reviews. Most of the bad ones seem to have come from dispatch complaints. While we did have to wait an hour (this is a normal wait time), the driver called us to tell us he was on his way & would be there in 20 mins, and he was. He wouldn't let me direct traffic because I didn't have neon safety equipment on. That was thoughtful. Once the truck was hooked up, he got our truck to the destination in no time, plus he parked it in a tight space like a champ. Price was quite reasonable. We are happy.
