had a terrible experience with Copart. I bought a vehicle listed as “run and drive,” but when I went to the lot to pick it up, the damage was much worse than described. They told me to leave it, then later insisted I pick it up. I refused, but they gave me no real solution. You can see the damage in the pictures I posted—compare that to what they listed as run and drive. Please judge for yourselves—this is a complete scam, and I do not recommend them at all
Copart is dehumanized. They took away my lifetime membership that I purchased because they wanted me to start paying an annual membership. I’ve bought many cars here and now it’s become the worst.
You have to do everything through an app and there is zero assistance
I love copart most of the time. But this location was experiencing an IT issue with the delivery service. I called every other day to check in. They said they would not charge storage fee because it was their issue. Over a week later I called again and they said that I had to get my own tow and pay the storage. Awfull communication, outright lying and costing their customers more money for no fault of their own.
My van was towed here per insurance following an accident. Contacting this yard and working with these folks was the easiest part of dealing with the accident. When I arrived to retrieve my personal items, the site manager explained what would occur and facilitated a quick retrieval of my van. The driver that brought my van up to the front encouraged me to move my rental closer so I wouldn't have to walk as far. I had to make a follow up trip to gather additional pictures. The office workers helped to make this possible even though I had already cleared the car. They were just kind and easy to work with as well as efficient.... all things that are difficult to find following an accident.
