Every time I've been here, the gentleman behind the counter have been helpful and kind. I usually go in there for odds and ends, and they usually come up with something that helps! Well stocked with knowledgeable staff.
Never fails! I came in yesterday with a dead battery, and as I shyly tried asking the guy behind the counter to install my battery for me, he knew and offered up! Now I have no fear driving my car and ending up stranded because of the battery.
My truck wouldn't start just down the street. My battery connection had snapped. I walked down and the people working there walked back to my truck with me and put the new part on for me. When it still wouldn't start he continued to troubleshoot and was going to help push start my truck! (I forgot to put the clutch in cause I was frazzled 😭) You guys are amazing and so kind.
I've bought parts here before and they also gave me good honest advice. Above and beyond.
Last Friday (12/22) while cruising down I-5 in the pouring rain, the driver side windshield wiper flew right off my car. It was intense.
I made it to Carquest and was amazed with their service. They didn’t have the exact wiper blade I needed for my car but they found one that was just a little shorter that worked perfectly. They also installed it for me without asking and explained the prior wiper install (done by a different auto parts store) had used the wrong connector and that is why I lost the blade.
Everyone was friend and they worked together as a team to help me out The price for the new blade was also great. They even applied RainX to my windshield.
Top notch service. Above and beyond what was required.

The same people have owned it and run it for years and years now. Their support staff and the owners are always super helpful and really nice. They do their best to make sure you get the right parts and equipment for your carcare needs.
I support this local auto parts store whenever I can. They have a little bit of everything automotive there and if they don't have it, they can get it, quick. The guys that work there are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.I love the fact that at least one of the men working there open carries while he's working 💪💪❤️💪💪.

I had bought a serpentine belt from a different auto parts store which turned out to be too small but the belt was the right belt according to their parts number witch turned out to the wrong belt in the right. Car Quest got the right belt for my car and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they were so helpful.
If you are unfortunate enough to have a dodge dart like me and are traveling on I5 and need to top off on oil because your car burns it, Carquest was the only place I could find 5W-40. Thank you!
I've been in the store atleast 5 times in the last 2 years and I am always so impressed with the service, knowledgeable staff, in stock available parts...I have always felt like they are genuine and happy to be there helping me fix whatever's broke. And that is no small feat for any parts store, but add the fact I am a woman, and it's a small miracle! Not once have I been subjected to even the slightest hint of a sexist attitude, which is all too common still in the auto shop world. But they are a breath of fresh air to me and a joy to visit. This is the only parts store I feel truly wants and appreciates my business!

Carquest in Winlock is absolutely the finest auto parts establishment. Having been in customer service for many years I truly appreciate their kindness and honesty. They never try to up-sale or shame. Even helpful when I didn’t make a purchase at that time. They tested my solar battery for free without hesitation.

I was in a bind, needed a set of bearings for a piece of equipment since another store sold me the wrong ones. They were able to find a set and measured them to verify fit. And they were about half the price.
The counter staff were Knowledgeable and helpful and located the item I needed very quickly and gave me different options. A great experience shopping here!
This is a very professional auto parts store. The owners (second generation ownership) are very supportive of the schools and of community groups. Their inventory is unbelievable. And if they do not have what you need, they will find it and get it into the store as fast as they can. I will continue to shop at this local store. Thank you for being in Winlock.
The only and I mean the only auto parts store left in the area where the guys working at the store actually know what they are talking about. Extremely helpful won't go anywhere else.
