Purchased a battery yesterday from them, didn’t even run it but ended up not needing it so I tried to return it today. They took the battery to the back to test it for about 5 minutes and came back and told me it failed the test and they wouldn’t refund me. Took it to the orielys the next town over and they returned it for me with no hassle. Bad customer service here

Big thanks to Jack at the store! On our trip to Portland, part of our car’s underbody came loose. We stopped by this auto parts store to look for tools, and Jack, one of the staff, kindly offered to help us. He quickly fixed the issue and saved our day. Excellent customer service — thank you, Jack!

Anthony TRIED helping me and failed horribly he knew nothing about bolts he gave me two different sizes of bolts so 2 of the right ones 2 of the wrong ones and he smelt like terrible BO not helpful at all

I don’t know what happened to the store in the last year, but I’ll tell you there is no knowledge in the store. wrong parts being sold. People who have no knowledge even about the simplest items and to make matters worse. The customer service is abhorrent. After my last couple of trips in there, including today, I will never return

Many thanks to Cheryl at the Johnson Road O’Reilly in Centralia, Washington. We needed a power steering - return line in our truck. Part was unavailable, even at dealer. Cheryl provided the idea of repairing the broken line with brass fittings. Truck was back to work that morning. Thank you, Cheryl !!!

Went to purchase a headlight today. I asked if they installed them because I have neuropathy that prevents my hands from functioning properly especially in the cold. The young man at the counter said they do install them but he didn't feel comfortable doing it. He told me to watch a YouTube video! This is not the customer service anyone should get. Do better!

omg...their staff do NOT know what they are doing...they sold my wife the wrong color antifreeze, she installed it... since I caught the mistake within a few hours I was able to have it flushed BEFORE any damage occurred...everything on the net states DO NOT MIX COLORS...they refuse to reimburse me for their employees mistake....

Exceptional great customer service. They made everything seem so easy. Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. The free wiper installation is a sure win. They replaced my wipers in the rain. The military discount was a hit, too. I will recommend them to all my family and friends. Thank you. Kindness is never wasted. Peace.

Recently I had to replace a starter on my wife's honda. I live right by the johnson oreillys so went there and got a remanufactured one because it was substantially cheaper than brand new. Got it back to my place and installed it. On first installed the starter would continuously made a whining noise and take several seconds to actually get the engine to start. I pulled it all apart and installed again, thinking maybe I had left something loose or something but after the 2nd install it did the same thing. Sure I installed correctly I took the starter back to oreillys and asked if they could test it for me as I had just bought it a couple hours earlier. I'm sorry I'm spacing on the guys name who was helping me, cool bearded dude, but he got it tested and got the shop over near pearl street as they had the same model starter over there and they tested That one and compared numbers and confirmed the one I had bought was having issues running correctly. They then quickly took care of it as a warranty and I got the other one from the other shop and it worked great on first install. First time I've ever had a defective part from oreillysand I appreciate the responsiveness and easy swapping for a functional part. I'll definitely be continuing to shop at oreillys as my preferred autoparts store.

This review is specific to my experience today at the Johnson Road, Centralia Washington store. First of all a local competitor failed to have the part I had ordered the day before and, even though I was sent an e-notice with invoice and digital bar code, once I drove across town and produced the confirmation the manager and three employees could not find the item. I was refunded and drove a few blocks over to O'Reilly Auto where within 5 minutes the employee, Hayden had the part in my hand. His customer service skills were way above average for someone who claimed only employed there for under six months. He was properly trained the way the store functions so well as it does - but beyond that he was polite and truly concerned about my needs. I told him he just made me an O'Reilly store fan for life! Now thats how you do customer service!

I just left O'Reilly's in Centralia and I have to say that Wilson was amazing! I needed a new battery and Wilson installed it for me he was extremely kind and very helpful!!! Highly recommend 5 ⭐️'s and a full moon as well. Thank you!!

Great people and service. Just avoid Chris. He's knowledgeable but acts completely inconvenienced when asking for ANY advice. I just go 2 miles away to the other store on Pearl now.

Wish I could give it a negative. Not helpful, busy rushing us and the young man was rude. We were trying to make the car reader work. It wouldn't, your doing it wrong the fella said when we went back in. We did it again and took pictures of the screen so we could show him. Went back in, waited in line again, another man came in butted in and asked for the reader. The kid point at my hubby and said in a huff well that guy has it. He told my my hubby to give it to the other man. The employee didn't look at it, or the pictures, didn't try to help in any manor. We handed to the other man and left. These guys are a joke, this is the 2nd time we have had a bad experience. I went in for a small part. Asked at the counter. The gal pointed and said somewhere down there and pointed to a row. There was only 1 other customer. I couldn't find the piece. I needed to put a new plug on my fan to plug into the cig lighter. I gave up and left. I won't shop here again. Auto zone for life.

Awesome, friendly, and knowledgeable staff! My car had a cylinder misfire while passing through the area, this location had all the parts I needed to fix it in the parking lot. I was even able to borrow some tools. Great team 🤙🏻

I was in this store 3 times today Wrong part, then broken part, and the hardware was different on each part? The people behind the counter were so incompetent they couldn't give me a straight price when exchanging. When I went in on the THIRD time to get my money back I gave them the what for, and they gave me an attitude! Waste of my entire day Tearing my truck apart and putting the old parts back on it and off and on again. Never have I EVER gone thru such a hassle. And this is just brake calipers people. Brake calipers...cmon Don't bother trying to purchase parts from these incompetent jokers Unless you have all day and a second vehicle to run back and fourth to the store bc they can't do their job. Zero stars

Been my favorite auto parts chain for 30 years . Since they were schucks. Still a great company and this location is spot on. Friendly customer service , clean fully stocked . A perfect encounter . Well, no topless dancing girls but you can't have everything !

Customer service is non existent. They don't really seem to care that you are even in the store. When someone does acknowledge your presence they are very standoffish and rude. This has been the case several times and in several other states. Not sure why I keep trying to get parts there. Autozone here I come.

Sarah and Josh are two of the most helpful people I've ever met at a parts store. Not only do they actually know cars, but both of them are always going out of their way to help their customers. Going above and beyond the call of duty to serve their community is par for the course for these guys. This is by far the best parts store I've ever been to, not only for price and quality, but especially for the quality of their employees.

Tom was awesome! Very cool helping me get my parts for my truck. Yes blonde lady but I will be replacing my own hose, reverse lights, add some oil and change the air filter. I love that he did not act like I can’t do things myself. We ordered the hose, grabbed the parts and got out the door quickly. Thank you Tom! Keep up the good work.

What I like about O'Reilly's it the way they help you IF needed. You can walk up to the counter as soon as you walk in the door and there is always a helpful and knowledgeable person there to help you. That being said, if you want to go in and browse or find what you want yourself, you dont have to worry about having a salesperson chasing you down the aisle to bother you. Anyone who has worked on cars will tell you the difference between a real parts guy and a keyboard tapper. The importance of finding a real parts guy (Or gal) can't be overstated. This is someone who knows what they are selling and knows from experience what works with what and doesn't just tap info into a computer and mindlessly shuffle parts from shelf to sales counter. This keeps customers from having to make return trips to the parts store and keeps them coming back to that store, not just for parts, but also the wisdom and experience of the person passing the parts over the counter. It's something that's gained over time and not something you can train during a new employee class. The counter people here seem to have a good dose of that knowledge and don't mind taking the time to share it with you. That's what keeps customers loyal.

The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They checked my lawn mower battery, got me a new one, and helped me find the right car cover for my classic car. When they disnt have it they even ordered it next day. Great service!!

Very helpful staff. They have a good selection of parts on hand and they seem to have many frequent customers, there were three who came in in the ten minutes I was there who the staff knew by name. That's a good sign.
