Please make D&M Motors the only place you use for auto repair. Well ... another car repair establishment said I had a coolant hose that was leaking and zip tied. They said it had to be an immediate repair because it was going to "go any day". Sam the service manager could have taken advantage of me and charged me $1200 for coolant hose replacement. Instead Sam charged me $160. Please make D&M motors the only place you go for auto repair.

I highly recommend D&M Auto to anyone. I received very quick and fantastic service but more importantly they were very friendly to my daughter and treated her with respect.

There is not enough stars on Google to rate the service I received from Sam at D&M Motors!!! I have been in the automotive industry for 20 years, and I have owned a shop for 11 years, the customer service, prompt action, honesty, and price was beyond fair. One of my very good customers was on her trip home from Spokane to Seattle, and had an alternator failure after having us do a timing chain here at my shop. As a shop owner this is a very stressful call to get from one of my customers, Sam diagnosed the car right away, worked with me on parts and pricing and got my customer back on the road in record time. No other shop would accommodate to this situation, and would more than likely take advantage of my customer, along with throwing my shop under the bus. Sam is definitely running an honest facility and was an absolute blessing, bringing our spirits up on an already stressful week! THANK YOU SO MUCH D&M AUTO REPAIR…

This business is absolutely wonderful. I broke down at 1130pm last night, antifreeze everywhere under my hood. I was able to get to their shop and not only were they able to get me in that morning, they immediately started working on my truck to get me back on the road. For the stressful situation this is, they have bent over backwards to help. Thank you.

I had a great experience with D&M Motors! They were able to schedule me quickly. I don't know a lot about cars, and they were able to quickly diagnose a critical issue and get it fixed. They did a great job of calling me with updates, and the price was very reasonable. I would absolutely come here again with future car maintenance.

OUTSTANDING!! AMAZING!! HONEST! I was moving from Seattle to FLA and of course my clutch goes out just east of Cle Elum. The tow truck driver said he knows a guy in Ellensberg that is a little faster. I’m hours from Seattle and thought I’d be stuck for a 2-3 days. NOPE…24 hours and a new clutch later I’m back on the road. He stayed late to get me on the road in daylight! If I could give 10 stars I would.

I have used Sam and his crew several times in the last year for my son who is at CWU. I am literally 2400 miles away and have trusted Sam to take care of his truck. Never a question. Never a wait. His service and customer care can't be beat. Thanks, Sam!

D and M Motors has been an honest and reliable source for automotive care for my daughter while she has been a student at Central Washington University. Since we live 100 miles away, it has been such a relief and a blessing to know they are there for all of her mechanical needs. My car started having some trouble outside of Ellensburg the other day when I was on my way to Seattle. I was stuck in a town I didn't know, but Sam and the team took care of my car and got me on way again. Loved the experience and guidance they provided. 11/10 would recommend breaking down near here if you must break down.

We called D&M on a Saturday after hours requesting locksmith services. They answered and sent another company within 20 minutes as D&M didn’t have a truck available at that time. I can appreciate their promptness and willingness to help without making a dime. Thank you Kevin for getting us and our horses back on the road and out of the rain.

This Mom and Pop busines is everything good about America. I lost my breaks 30 miles out of their location with just my son and myself in a camper van. I called every tow truck in Elensburg and no one could come. D & M not only saved us, but they showed within the hour! My father had a stroke and we were trying to get to him. Kevin, our driver, heard my plea and gave me a huge hug when he arrived. It is obvious how much these people care and want to help others. I recommend you make them your first call if in the area. Very profession, more than adequate equipment, and good old American heart and soul. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.....+⭐

Sam and his team are simply the best. We were 1 day into a 5 day moto camping ride and sheared off both footpeg bolts. It happened to be 118 degrees that day and the shop was slammed but they made sure to clear some room in the shop and help us get it all helicoiled and fixed up in about an hour. Thanks guys l, anyone doing the WABDR ride that needs a freindly mechanic to help keep the bikes up and running..... Go see Sam at D+M !

I highly recommend D & M Motors!!! I WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE whether living in Ellensburg or having auto issues on your way through! This is 1 of the most honest caring and knowledgeable repair shops I have dealt with in 42 years of driving! Our 2006 Silverado suddenly started revving high not shifting on way back to Spokane from Seattle and we barely made it into Ellensburg at 20 mph at 11pm. Next morn I called and spoke to a few nice shop owners, however Sam at D&M was the only one who said he would squeeze in the diagnostic that morning as we were stranded. (Note when we arrived we saw a desk full of keys and work orders and a lot full of trucks and cars so even busier than most). Says a lot about the integrity of a person when they will put in extra time to help stranded strangers. Issues were due to a cracked radiator and existing transmission issues that came to a head on the long trip. Sam worked hard to get most parts in that day and we only had to wait on 1 for them to install following morn. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO GET US ON THE ROAD ASAP! We have put a bit too much into this truck over last few years so I can state with 100% confidence/experience that my cost of repairs at D & M Motors reflected a truly honest fair and caring professional! Thank you Sam and team for making a very stressful situation as easy as possible shuttling us to hotel and giving us over all peace of mind. Bless you!!

I will never trust anyone else with my vehicle in the whole valley! Craig came and picked up my vehicle 5 minutes after I called to get it towed. He was so wonderful to talk to and was very helpful. Sam at the shop was so nice and they gave me an awesome deal on my Lexus for how much work they had to put in to change out my alternator. They also got it done in one day! On top of that, they ran tests on the rest of the engine to make sure it all worked AND they topped off my fluids without me asking. I can’t begin to express my gratitude. Best service! Highly recommend!!

Sam and his team at D & M are true life savers. I was in town for work and my normally reliable car broke down. Definitely nerve wracking trying to find a solid mechanic in a new place. After checking reviews and getting a recommendation from some locals I had it towed to D & M. They were helpful, friendly and diagnosed the problem as the same issue my mechanic at home had suggested. They have a car rental available so I was able to rent a car with no hassle for around $60, keep working, all while getting necessary repairs done on my car. The price of my repair was extremely reasonable and in line with what my regular mechanic would have charged and maybe even less. Highly recommend!

Fantastic local shop! While driving down the freeway, I noticed that my car's shroud was dragging. Concerned that I was out of luck because it was a Sunday, my parents helped me find an open place. Enter: D & M Motors & Towing. My mom had called to check if they were open, and Kevin promptly answered the phone. He said he was in the shop, available, and expecting me. Upon arrival, he immediately greeted me and began tending to my car. While inspecting it, he asked me questions about myself (pleasant reminders of my previous life growing up in a small town), and when he finished the minor job he didn't charge me at all! He just wanted me to know that D & M has been family-owned since 1963 and implored me to spread the word. If you're ever in Ellensburg with car needs, give them a call. We were heading on a camping trip, towing our RV & blew a tire alongside the freeway. Kevin was quick to arrive at the location & was extremely helpful, educational & very personable. He also checked the other tires on the trailer and was pleased to help us & we are so grateful he was able to come to our need.

This place has saved our bacon twice now. A few years ago our Chevy lost a fuel pump and was broke down on I90. They towed us in and got us fixed up right away. Just a couple weeks ago we had an exhaust pipe issue on our Dodge and once again, they got us in and fixed so we could continue on our travels. Yes, we had to wait a few hours before they could fix it but that is not an issue at all. We did not have an appointment. They got us in, instead of making us wait a few days. Again, we were passing through. I can not say enough but great things about the staff and this company. Really top notch service and compassion for people. My only issue is I may have to go to the Seattle area via hwy 2 since my trucks seem to like to break down while passing Ellensburg. lol. Thank you D&M Motors, you all are fantastic!

Was recently travelling on a Sunday up the Vantage Hill on I90 westbound when my engine warning light began to flash. Pulled into Ryegrass rest area and called D&M, Kevin responded immediately and was out to tow my car to Ellensburg within about 45 mins. Since it was Sunday, I could not have it looked at until Monday morning so I checked into Hampton Inn. D&M service manager Sam called first thing, had the diagnosis done, and was able to fix my vehicle and have me on the road by 11:00am. Overall great customer experience given the bummer situation. Service was prompt, friendly, and very fair value overall. Would highly recommend.

My sister in law and I were driving from SLC, UT to our destination on Vancouver Island B.C. Our truck broke down in Wellington WA, and we had to be towed in the middle of the night. After the grueling process with the insurance company being the middle man, our tow truck was finally there. Kevin was the lucky one who got to work in the middle of the night, and he was SO kind and concerned and the first thing he did was help us get into his tow truck safely before he started the process with the truck. He truly made the whole experience feel positive even under the circumstances. The next day we were towed back to their shop, they rallied together and got our truck fixed back up within a few hours and had us back on the road by 1pm. We cannot express how that kind of service made a stressful situation turn into a great adventure and memory. We hope all of our cars break down in WA , so we can call D &M! We sent some postcards from the island when we got there later that day. Thank you all for your honest work and wonderful customer service.

An honest, knowledgeable and reasonable repair shop!! Highly recommend My class C motor home decided to breakdown outside of Ellensburg. D & M motors owners and technicians were knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. The responding tow operator spent time trying to fix the problem on the spot, and when it couldn’t be, communicated his finding to the shop, and towed me there along the scenic route - beautiful! The next morning, (after allowing me to camp in their lot overnight and providing power!) they thoroughly inspected and diagnosed the problem, all the while fielding multiple questions from me. Fortunately, it was not a worst-case scenario! I felt their service costs were reasonable, and they went the extra mile. Thank you, Kevin, Sam and all the rest!!!

We were heading on vacation and our engine blew in ellensberg. Kevin came in the blink of an eye to get my family off the side of the road into a safe place. I have 2 very young girls and he was so sweet to them, they love Kevin & his tow truck lol It turned out very convenient that he towed us because there is a great auto shop and they even had a car to rent so we could continue on our vacation. Sam the mechanic has been very attentive and great in dealing with the extended warranty company and he keeps in constant contact with us about our car. Thank you Kevin and Sam for making sure our vacation wasn't ruined! We are so grateful to your team!

Kevin was the gentleman who picked up myself & my son; along with my parents when their truck broke down. He was an incredibly kind man who even remembered each of our names when speaking with us. His level of professionalism was second to none and I will definitely be contacting Kevin if I ever need a future tow. He even picked us up on his day off! (Which he never had to do!) Out of all the towing experiences that I have ever had, he was by far the most amazing! Still smiling about his wonderful customer service! Thank you so much Kevin!

Truck broke down on a Friday afternoon, with a Fifth wheel trailer, only company to even want to take me to get truck fixed. Not only did they treat me with friendly service, they found a safe secure place to set my fifth wheel down at no extra charge. Got my truck fixed and on the road in less than two hours. The communication between the manager, my husband( by phone) and myself was superb and comforting. I highly recommend this company for anyone that is in a vulnerable situation, out of town and on a dead line to reach there point of destination.
