As they say you get one chance to make a first impression. Not happy with the attitude I got when I ordered a part and waited a day then when I came in found out it was the wrong part. It is very irritating when someone makes a mistake and tries to turn it around on me. No apology either for her mistake. Never go back there again. Surprisingly O'Reilly across the street were much friendlier and competent.

Alex and Preston remarkably knowledgeable and helpful. Came in with engine light, left with new ignition coil on the sixth cylinder and an enlightened understanding of this aspect of auto repair. Thank you!!

Very nice and helpful staff and they had the parts I've been trying to find. Definitely will be a customer from now on.

Never heard of this place but figured I'd pop in as it was along the way. (9/6/24) There was a guy training and (presumably) the manager. The trainee was trying hard, was personable and seemed familiar with the auto parts world. He had a hiccup trying to order as he was new to the system they were using, but figured it out quickly. It was a small wait that gave me a chance to check out the store as I used to be a trainee 22 years ago at 19 yrs old at auto zone and was interested. The place is clean. Likely the cleanest auto parts store I've ever been in and practically no smell. Because I had to wait a few minutes they gave me a *steep* discount on my wiper blades and this goes to show this store cares deeply about retaining clients and best business practices. I will get all of my auto parts and regular maintenence items here from now on.

One of the absolute worst outfits I've ever delt with. The kids in there don't know what a small block chevy is nor anything about it. In the last 90 days I've returned 16 of 21 parts I bought from them. They got the serpentine belt wrong 3 times for a 02 tahoe because they couldn't identify options shown own the computer to get it right. They even blamed it on their supplier yet the same company fits when the right questions are asked. The only things I was able to keep was the stuff I pulled from the shelves myself like oil and some cheap tools. O'Reillys across the street however knew exactly what I needed and everything fits perfect. Yall need to stop hiring kids who can't afford cars let alone not know anything about one of the most common engines ever produced in the world.

Costless employees were very helpful, and courteous. They double check to make sure that the rotors that we ordered were the correct ones they double check to make sure that I had the slider pins for the calipers. And they help me carry the caliper to the car when the order came in. All of the employees were very nice, the store was clean. Overall I had an enjoyable positive experience at Cost Less Auto Parts.

I was in the store to returned a part The manager from the time I set in the building had an attitude for some reason. I went to her to return the part. At first, she said she was not going to return the part because it had been past 90 days. Then she explained to me that she would return the part this time. She yelled across the store to the cashier. To find out if she had a large sum of money, the cashier responded how much she then said I'm not going to return it. You need to take it back to the store that you purchased it from and return it there very rudely. So I did I took it to the orchard store and they returned it. No questions asked. I talked to them about the situation they said leave A. Review store manager in hazeldall. It's not very pleasant, especially working with customers. Thank you for your time

I got a heater core for a 2000 GMC for $90 less by going here to Vancouver rather than purchasing at O'Reilly or Autozone in Portland. Fast service and quick to help over the phone. The part was waiting for us so we were in and out with everything we needed in one stop.

I have been going to this auto parts store for over 40 years. Way back when they were called Dusty's Auto parts. Even though I have given them five stars the quality of the new personnel has declined dramatically.

So I took Pops 73 yr old, eyes, hearing, going due roage but a sharp mind with a gift to learn from every thing new he does. Went in Cost Less normally he likes Orchards, but went to 99th location around hour before closing. At first seemed ok, good dialog Pops and the first seat employee, old looked knowledgable Grey or white haired man. Pops inquired about fuel injecter as he seen them onlin for pkg of 8 for a crazy price of $44.00. Cost Less said they did have them and would have to order from California about 4 days. Pops hard of hear said can i get them at Orcjards, he gave a smart remark (1) belittling my Pops. Pops must not have heard it but I sure did. He was getting bit confused as he asked for the price. Parts Assoc. Said roughly 44.00 each plus 10 core charge. Now Pops heard that and wanted to know why so muc online can get 8 for same price. Assoc. said that find go buy there there. Pops wanted to see the screen to make sure the picture of the part was the same as the parts he needed. The Parts Assoc. Got all snuff with Pops, and said "why you need to see my screen." I was furious that a elderly man would be treated with such disrespect, i was about to reach over and grab the guy .....na come Pops i walked out of store before i got in trouble . I dont have anger issues but when someone miss treats a elder of our community with nothing but disrespect sorry. He got lucky and im reviewing his behavour now. I drove Pops to Portland and man what a beatiful change that was complete oppisite of the Cost Less, Baxters Auto answered Pops Questions and when pops ask to see a picture the man behind the counter turned his screen around without anyone asking and made me proud to be in the store I once work in there warehouse for many years. Costless your employee bit the sour grape on this hence o will never shop or take Pops or anyone to that store again. Disrespect is not what the auto part exspireance is about, you worked under me you would have been sent home right then and escorted out the door and told to not return . Baxters Auto your customer for life as when in at that age, im asking questions too, and your staff showed me true customer care look forwared to your review.

Will not spend another dime at this location was sold the wrong part for my vehicle, then called the location to ask a simple question. Got put on hold multiple times and hung up on multiple times when I went into the store to address the situation the staff was rude and defensive and there was not anyone in the store, but they claimed they were busy. Do not waste your time or money at this location.

This place rules! I needed a thermostat for a 98 Volvo on a Sunday. I called them up, they had an aftermarket part that was $10.99. Unbelievable! Thanks everybody. Just one more time you have come through for me in a pinch. Definitely a go-to business for me

Cost less has the best prices & friendly staff. They're always willing to come outside to have a look at your vehicle and help you decide want you need to do. They have specialty tool kits to rent for certain jobs & they're good about showing you how to use them. If they don't have what you need at this location they probably do at Orchards location.

I came in yesterday wanting a battery exchanged because it stopped holding a charge. The employee checked the battery and confirmed within 2 minutes that the battery was in fact bad and needed replacing. (I purchased the battery a few months ago and it came with a 3 year warranty). Once I showed them my receipt which they weren’t expecting I had, they wanted to do a extensive 6 hour test on the battery and have me sit in their parking lot, when they originally confirm the battery was bad. The bigger tattooed manager was extremely rude and didn’t care about customer service at all. After trying to explain to him that I don’t have time to wait for 6 hrs, I finally gave up and bought a new battery at Costco and brought their battery back for the 6 hour test. Today I came back to check on the battery and indeed it was faulty, I told the same manager that I don’t want the battery exchanged I simply want my money back, but he was being extremely rude and told me “too bad you’ll be stuck with two batteries now” knowing I had no choice but to buy another battery for Costco. Luckily while he left for a few seconds I asked the very nice cashier if instead of an exchange she could simply refund my money. She agreed and I got a refund. As I was walking out of the store the manager with the tattoos started yelling at her and started chasing me while I walked out of the store. He ran out and tried to get in front of my car, yelling “I’m going to charge your card I have your information.”(which is fraud) I drove around him and left the property. I would never recommend anyone go here, and don’t expect to get anything covered by warranty. They purposely make up a 6 hour battery test so you would just give in and buy another battery from them, no one has 6 hours to sit around. Costco is definitely the way to go, they have a 36 month warranty, no questions asked.

These people are absolutely amazing. Place was open late and I needed something fixed, and they lent me tools and personally helped me figure everything else, fair prices, incredibly helpful staff. Best experience I've had at an auto store.

Great prices as ALWAYS, but also the dreaded "2 store trip" because they misinformed me where to pickup the parts. This happens about 70% of the time. BUT, with prices comparable to Amazon Prime , it's worthy of wasting time and gas to save so much. Staff is always so outgoing and very knowledgeable. If they don't know, they'll do anything to figure it out so you'll be getting exactly what you need.

Matthew was amazing today. I came in to replace my headlights, i put the new ones in in the parking lot and they where still not working but Matthew saw me and asked if I've checked the fuse? He was so friendly and was very patient and walked me through it. Now i know how to check my fuses! Great kid. Love costless

These guys are awesome, especially Matthew. I am a single mom and was having car troubles right out in front of their place on Hwy 99. I pulled in and went inside and Matthew went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were safe and ready to get back on the road. I appreciate everything you did Matthew! I will be back and recommend Cost Less to everyone!

Really good prices. The staff is friendly and helpful. They will put wiper blades on for free. They do diagnostic test for free. I like how much they are trained. They are knowledgeable about the products they sell. It's wheelchair friendly and the restrooms are clean. Plenty of parking and parking is free. There's no parking structure just a lot.

First off, I swear I don't work for them and I'm not the owner I'm just a patron. Been going to cost less Auto Parts for the last 30 years. They're the most inexpensive for the exact same parts, very knowledgeable long-term parts staff, believe me oh, I know my stuff oh, and these guys always seem to know one more than me. They're very excellent about returns, and they're so fast and always have the part that I never get enough time to visit and talk my shop talk that's my only complaint. Oh and they just got a new hot girl working there too, but they interrupted my trying to chat with her by telling her to get back to work. Nevertheless, compared to the other auto part stores around town, they don't even compare. There's no reason to go to another place, but there's every reason to not go to another place. Anyone that knows their stuff here in town always goes to Cost Less Auto Parts, that's just the Golden Rule. Next door to them is Advance Auto Parts. If you go in there, you will find Advance Auto Parts is dead...no customers. And the price is way higher than Cost Less Auto Parts. If you're in town uneedapart can you look up Costless and you find their way on the other side of town and you think you're just rather go to someplace real close to you, my advice, don't do it stick with Cost Less Auto Parts.

Consistently the best auto parts company I have found in the northwest. Great prices are a must, but the workers simply go above and beyond to ensure you get the right part and even help diagnose issues. These guys will always let you know if you can fix her for cheaper or you're spending unnecessary money, and that trustworthiness is rare these days. Excellent establishment.

Great store! Great counter help. The guys/gals are super helpful. This time I just needed a battery terminal, but I don't think I've posted about Cost Less before. I usually go to the big warehouse near 4th Plain, but this store was closer to the car needing the part. Thanks folks! I'll be back when I'm in the area!
