I am requesting that a manager contact me immediately regarding a serious and unacceptable issue with inconsistent and misleading payout rates.
I have been a customer of your business for years. Three days ago, I brought in Gracie copper and was paid $1.61 per pound. Today, I brought in the same material in the same amount and was paid $0.50 less per pound.
Fortunately, I kept my receipt from the prior transaction. When I presented it at the front desk, the employee immediately knew exactly what the issue was and had a check cut within seconds for the difference — $507. The speed and lack of explanation strongly suggest this is not an isolated mistake, but a known and recurring problem.
What further raised concern was that another customer arrived at the same time and went straight to the window with a receipt, appearing to dispute a similar issue.
This entire situation felt extremely shady and unprofessional. As a woman in a male-dominated industry, it is impossible to ignore the possibility that I was being shorted intentionally. No customer should have to challenge a payout or bring prior receipts to ensure fair treatment.
I will not return to this business under any circumstances unless:
A manager contacts me directly,
Clear transparency is provided on pricing and payouts,
Corrective actions are taken to ensure customers are paid fairly and consistently.
I got 25 bucks for 2 of the catalytic converters off of mom's frontier, they weren't even aftermarket. so go somewhere else if u need $ cause this place is a joke, taking advantage of people who they think don't know what's up, 12.50 a piece and I talked him up 3 dollars or it would have only been 11 a piece....sheesh
The workers are always happy and very helpful. This is the only place I go, because of how well I like the employees. I didn't get help at the other places like I do here. So I will go with the one that makes me feel like I belong there and their happy to see me. Might just be part of their job but they have me convinced if it is only part of their job
They love to close early, today I showed up at 3:39, the gates are already closed. I have 600 lbs of scrap in my truck that I just loaded, now I'll have to unload it and try again next week as I need my truck empty for work. How about you just change your hours if you don't want to work rather then screwing with your customers.
I went to this place because they quoted .25-.55 cents per lb. for aluminum. I spent hours tearing down an old aluminum camper to remove all non aluminum parts. Anyway the way my clean aluminum scrap and say they’re giving me their premium rate of .15 cents a lb. , .10 cents lower than they quoted me on phone for the lowest rate. What a rip off!!!! Next time I’ll give it away or take it to Portland
Best scrap metal place in town. Always friendly, professional qnd fast. Very easy process drive in, park, unload, get paid. Leave. Would recommend this business to others and will return to again. Just had another successful trip, staff is courteous professional prompt. Great experience.
Don't ask questions regarding how to get better prices. Will be rewarded with sarcasm and just plain rude service. Prices are good for tin. But take anything other else where for more profit..
First time here. Easy in, forklift driver was informative and respectful. I asked what / where / how two or three times because that's how my brain works, he answered each time with professionalism. Window staff wasn't immediately there, but showed up with little delay. Had cordial conversation. Overall good experience.
He didn’t want to type it but they’re Awesome and their prices are horrible. I mean they’re great. Blake and Jake are awesome but if the cops are there, it’s not them.

Got there at 3:25pm and they said I didn't have enough time to unload my truck when I could have got it done in 10 mins. There was plenty of time. On top of that a person came in 5 mins after me with about the same amount and they brought them 2 big buckets right away. Wasted my time and gas. I don't recommend coming here.
They make the entire process easy. The rates are competitive, and the gentleman that manages the company sincerely appreciates your business, and it shows by his respectful and professional attitude. I highly recommend this business, and I personally will not go anywhere else.
This place is great to bring your scrap metals. They’re fair on pricing help you with your separating of materials and there are a bunch of funny characters there.
They are one of the few that are consistent with their pricing and they don’t try to downplay the materials that you have. very trustworthy. Highly recommend doing business with them.

The fellas were efficient & fair, got us in & out with a little cash in hand. We were there just before closing & the hyster operator was extremely skilled, it really was something to watch him maneuver his hyster so comfortably. Have been before, will go again, and would definitely recommend. C-;
Great experience coming here! The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Didn't have to wait forever like I do at most recycling places. The price was fair for aluminum, especially for the convenience of not having to go all the way into Oregon to the yards there. I came to e and h metals recycling today a d the staff was super helpful and honest and for a girl like me it was easy and I got a fair price and they helped move things from my vehicle. They even helped me with a few questions I had when they were busy. I would recommend e and h metals to anyone in the world.
I don’t have one negative thing to say about this business and they’re very legitimate and always upfront and honest and never scams when it comes to payment was very quick with customer service and all in all a great experience definitely recommend and will be coming back.
Anytime I visit the establishment I'm always greeted with courtesy and respect. The prices are always fair for what I bring and I'll continue to use their services. There are definitely some rules that you need to keep in mind like making sure that you don't bring hazardous materials or that if you bring a vehicle all the fluids are out of it and disposed of properly. They have a convenient location and what I find most refreshing is that they don't act like the other people at other recycling places. Others were rude and disrespectful. These folks know how to make sure customers want to return. Thank you!
Last Saturday I left metal here. a worker with a broken arm deceived me very cruelly, he spoke rudely and not beautifully. my dirty weight was 1647 pounds. as a result, they gave me $ 11 for 700 pounds and said that the rest of the punts are his containers. at the request to put his container on the weight he sent me ... to anyone and never recommend this place
Convenient fast and friendly service close proximity, not off the beaten path you can get in and out in a matter of minutes and pretty much they take all Steel and appliances.
