The workers are always happy and very helpful. This is the only place I go, because of how well I like the employees. I didn't get help at the other places like I do here. So I will go with the one that makes me feel like I belong there and their happy to see me. Might just be part of their job but they have me convinced if it is only part of their job
They love to close early, today I showed up at 3:39, the gates are already closed. I have 600 lbs of scrap in my truck that I just loaded, now I'll have to unload it and try again next week as I need my truck empty for work.
How about you just change your hours if you don't want to work rather then screwing with your customers.
I went to this place because they quoted
.25-.55 cents per lb. for aluminum.
I spent hours tearing down an old aluminum camper to remove all non aluminum parts.
Anyway the way my clean aluminum scrap and say they’re giving me their premium rate of .15 cents a lb. , .10 cents lower than they quoted me on phone for the lowest rate.
What a rip off!!!! Next time I’ll give it away or take it to Portland
Best scrap metal place in town. Always friendly, professional qnd fast. Very easy process drive in, park, unload, get paid. Leave. Would recommend this business to others and will return to again.

Don't ask questions regarding how to get better prices. Will be rewarded with sarcasm and just plain rude service. Prices are good for tin. But take anything other else where for more profit..
Constant issues with payment . Wrong amounts in the system and what is printed on check . Every time I bring in metal the first check will not cash at the bank do not go here you will have to fight to get paid
First time here. Easy in, forklift driver was informative and respectful. I asked what / where / how two or three times because that's how my brain works, he answered each time with professionalism. Window staff wasn't immediately there, but showed up with little delay. Had cordial conversation. Overall good experience.

Got there at 3:25pm and they said I didn't have enough time to unload my truck when I could have got it done in 10 mins. There was plenty of time. On top of that a person came in 5 mins after me with about the same amount and they brought them 2 big buckets right away. Wasted my time and gas. I don't recommend coming here.
They make the entire process easy. The rates are competitive, and the gentleman that manages the company sincerely appreciates your business, and it shows by his respectful and professional attitude. I highly recommend this business, and I personally will not go anywhere else.
Guy working the window on Monday is a total jerk w attitude. Didn't like the paperwork for a car scrapped on Saturday and yells at me about it. Told me if I don't like his answers too bad. It wasn't his answer I didn't like it was his attitude. They also bribe people for positive Google with extra 5$ on your scrap.
This place is great to bring your scrap metals. They’re fair on pricing help you with your separating of materials and there are a bunch of funny characters there.
They are one of the few that are consistent with their pricing and they don’t try to downplay the materials that you have. very trustworthy. Highly recommend doing business with them.
i often scrap at Eh recycling.As A female ,it's somewhat uncomfortable to scrap sometimes .I just moved to get area .The staff made things very easy .One thing is they always acknowledge you when they are in a busy mode..That is very important.I have been in the customer service industry for over 20 years.It is key to let your customers know at all time that they know they are present..The staff makes things a little more less desirable. .I definitely reccomend a simple place with a simple process.Its not so dreadful to go to the scrapyard. The fellas were efficient & fair, got us in & out with a little cash in hand. We were there just before closing & the hyster operator was extremely skilled, it really was something to watch him maneuver his hyster so comfortably. Have been before, will go again, and would definitely recommend. C-;
Great experience coming here! The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Didn't have to wait forever like I do at most recycling places. The price was fair for aluminum, especially for the convenience of not having to go all the way into Oregon to the yards there. I came to e and h metals recycling today a d the staff was super helpful and honest and for a girl like me it was easy and I got a fair price and they helped move things from my vehicle. They even helped me with a few questions I had when they were busy. I would recommend e and h metals to anyone in the world.
I don’t have one negative thing to say about this business and they’re very legitimate and always upfront and honest and never scams when it comes to payment was very quick with customer service and all in all a great experience definitely recommend and will be coming back.
Giving this 3 stars cause there are good and bad about this place. Today was my first time there. Had lots of metal from a new building we just put up. I had lots of extra C channel pieces and both wall and roof sheathing probably 20 pieces about half size either width or length wise. A full sheet weight is around 41 lbs. Half should be about 20. The C channel is also fairly heavy per foot. I was guessing I had around 1000 lbs. Cause my trailer empty is 2000 and on a scale before going here was 3100 lbs. When all was done they showed 540 lbs.. about half of what the truck scale showed. And because some of the metal was 16ft long not even sure they weigh it! Also the tin price today was 3 cents a lb. Not sure if that is good price or not today?
In the end I will say this,
Pros= good location close to home. They are open till 4 pm on Saturday!
Cons= not sure about weight accuracy? They do not have a magnet for unloading. You must do all by hand.
Result, if your just looking to get rid of metal this place is fine. If your trying to get fair price and and specific on weight there are many others that are better. This again was my first time trying them out. For my work we take wire in regularly to metro and maybe I am just used to how metro does things....
Last Saturday I left metal here. a worker with a broken arm deceived me very cruelly, he spoke rudely and not beautifully. my dirty weight was 1647 pounds. as a result, they gave me $ 11 for 700 pounds and said that the rest of the punts are his containers. at the request to put his container on the weight he sent me ... to anyone and never recommend this place
Convenient fast and friendly service close proximity, not off the beaten path you can get in and out in a matter of minutes and pretty much they take all Steel and appliances.
