Bert’s alignment is such a WONDERFUL place. Nichole and JT took care of me and my car, they explained everything that was going on and recommended me to a body shop to help fix the other issues on my car they saw. JT and Nichole were so very kind and made me feel so comfortable the whole time.They were thorough and kind and clear. Their prices are fair here and they take good good care of their customers !! Plus their waiting room is super cute (and they have popcorn!)

Honest, helpful, and the best waiting room ever! I had taken my truck to another shop for a radiator issue, and after he'd fixed it he was test driving and told me my alignment felt very off and if it was ok with me he would run it over to Bert's. And before anyone asks, this guy (radiator fixer) is a long time family friend, he had no vested interest in helping out another shop with an "add on" service. I had just paid to have my alignment done somewhere else in chesapeake a few days prior, but to me the truck had not been driving well ever since, so this independent confirmation was pretty upsetting news.
Bert's took care of my alignment, and when I went to pick up the truck I spoke at length with the lovely gal at the front desk. The first shop in Chesapeake that was supposed to have done my alignment, by Bert's measurements, had not done the job at all, not just poorly, but not at all, and they still charged me for it! Bert's fixed what the first shop did not do, and at a very reasonable price. I had new tires and so I was really grateful to Bert's to help me preserve my vehicle by fixing the alignment. 10/10 on the alignment job (it now drives like a dream) 10/10 on customer service (she explained to me how their measurements work, this empowered me to go get my money back from the shop who didn't do anything) and 10/10 on the waiting room. It's an experience, and it's awesome.
The technician I had was great. He informed me of every detail involved with my alignment. He let me know how it should be and where it was before. Boy was my alignment off. Now my car handles great! A++++++ service!!! Thanks

Great vibe really great ladies upfront, 4/5 just becuase one of the techs set his crescent wrench on my new seat cover and it left a grease smudge and i cannot get it out for the life of me. Tech was very knowledgable and cool, would recommend
Failed state inspection for a suspension issue. I took the truck to the shop that installed my lift. A couple 100 dollars later, issue was not corrected. Decided to take to Bert's. I met a tech. by the name Shippy. In two minutes, in the parking lot, he diagnosed the exact issue and gave me an est. on the spot, which he beat by 200$ Also called me the next day with some other issues he found and said i could get away without doing,
but recommendedcI did. Normally you do something like that and you really don't know any difference. When I picked the truck up at the time he said would be ready. It was ready. He came out to meet me and explained everything to me. He said I'd be stoked at the result of the maintenance that he performed. Well 1 minute down the road I thought he replaced my vehicle with a new one. Outstanding service! Thanks Shippy.
I want to say this company is amazing…. I brought an R 32 skyline in for an 4 wheel alignment and it’s perfect!!! car drives like brand new… the customer service was great and highly recommended. They actually care about their customers and not a shop that just in and outs cars as fast as they can… if I could give a 10 star I would!!! Thanks again and I recommend to any and everyone
I brought my truck here after dealing with issues from another alignment shop. I should’ve gone to Bert’s in the first place. The receptionists were very friendly, and the mechanics were professional and thorough. They called me when they discovered an issue with my lower ball joint—the only part I hadn’t replaced—and clearly explained my options, even sharing what they would do if they were in my position. After replacing the ball joint and bringing the truck back, it drove straight as an arrow out of the shop and hasn’t had any alignment issues since. Overall, it was a great experience and has become the only place I trust to align my vehicle.
Took my heavily modified corvette here for alignment. Very knowledgable, flexible, and easy to work with staff. I requested specific camber specs and was recommended slight toe in on the front due to the aggressive alignment i was requesting to minimize tire wear and wandering. My car is straight as an arrow and corners on rails.
My 3rd time and the service and quality of work remains the best. I just bought 4 new tires for my Suburban and wanted them to check that everything was still as it should be. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my vehicles.
Used Bert’s for the 3rd time for a good reason. Every time I buy a car or get suspension work done, I take it here to get the alignment. The price is right when you think about how much tire replacement costs. They’ve been honest every time and also kind. I’ll only recommend this place if anyone in the area asks!
I brought my 2019 f250 in for a wandering issue and they were able to fit me in and diagnos the issue no problem. Had them do the repairs and alignment. Picked the truck up and immediately noticed that the steering was off called them up and scheduled a day to drop it back off. Was told the toe was out and the issues were the brand new parts are stiff so that's what in feeling. Drove it on a work trip pulling a trailer 500 miles and fought a pull to the right the whole time. I brought it back in fallowing my return. Was told everything was within specs and they adjusted my steering wheel. I broke down and took it to RNR tire in Chesapeake where I just bought my tires. Guess what my toe was out of spec. They realigned it and no more pull to the right and the truck feels so much better. Although berts has kind employees I feel like I waisted my time and money there.
I was referred to Bert’s Alignment by Pungo, the initial call with Pam, was very helpful and very customer friendly. She was able to schedule me for an appointment within a week of my call. When I arrived, she was very inviting and asked all of my questions/concerns. Then I met Chris, who was going to be doing my alignment and he is a stand up guy! Very up front and honest with the problems on my truck. He got straight to work. I will recommend everyone that needs truck services done to these amazing people!

I can understand why these guys are booked a week or so out. The shop was well kept and the staff were a pleasure. Chris took the moment to listen to my concern, pull up specs on his App after not having the correct settings for my newer jeep in the book. Dialed everything in perfectly and had me out of there in about an hour. After 3 other shops declined for not "Having the updated Spec" Bert's stepped up and knocked it out of the park. Highly recommended for honest straight forward service.
Usually not one to leave a review. However my experience was so phenomenal I had to this time around. Great shop, great people, great service. Had a first time appointment at 4 for a front end alignment and Shippy got me out of there within 30 mins. Very clear that these guys know what they’re doing. My car hasn’t driven this well since I bought it back in 2021. Safe to say they’ve earned a customer for life. Will be recommending them to anyone and everyone I know. Thanks again y’all!
Went in for a bad and sad alignment and left a HAPPY CUSTOMER. Shippy has been working on my vehicles for a few years and he's always very understanding, caring and patient. His knowledge of the vehicle always what needs to be fixed is always intriguing to me and learning something new for my car is fun for me. Harrington is my car, he's ready for his inspection.
Mr. Chris was awesome!!!! It took him 30 min to align a F350 Dually and I could tell a HUGE difference as soon as I started to drive away!!!!
5 Star Customer Service the second you walk into the shop. Very warm and welcoming. The waiting area for me was is very nostalgic with the old Barbers Chair and Coke Machine Cooler.
These guys are amazing. I lifted a brand new Tacoma and ultimately had to take it to another shop for the initial alignment. The first shop (left un-named) was not familiar with lifted vehicles and they took two tries and couldn't get it right. Told me it was "within spec" but it still drifted. So I took it to Bert's which is the shop everyone recommended. They took the time to dial it in- still within spec and absolutely no drifting. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else for alignments from now on. Not to mention their waiting room is possibly the most magnificent place to wait- which isn't very long because they are pretty fast too! 10/10 highly recommended.
Excellent place! Chris, Service Manager, discussed alignment with me before and after. Mr. Bert, very sweet person, introduced himself. We talked about his antique barber chair and Coca-Cola fridge. He also gave me a table hook for my purse, so thoughtful. Very cool, neat shop with antiques. Very professional, courtesy, genuinely nice people.
