Came for an inspection, waited 7 hours to be failed for a slightly off alignment & fog light. Of which another shop passed and told me to not come here for another inspection because of how little off the alignment was.
Great customer service. I was referred from a friend to go here to get my car aligned and I’m glad I did. They fit me in right away. Got it done right and had the best customer service. I will be back.
Incredible service and communication. My daughter bought a car and we brought it here to have the inspection double checked. Kevin and Tom were awesome and showed me everything in and under the car. They found one thing that needed to be replaced and they took care of it on the spot. I would absolutely recommend these guys if you’re in VB.
I went to another car shop to get an state inspection done and the price they quoted to have my 2006 Chrysler Sebring to be fixed and pass inspection was $2,350. I brought the same car to Art Walker's and they gave me a $637 quote for the same repairs. I will never ever to go to another car shop in this area. Art Walker's are the most honest business I have ever dealt with in my life. Cannot recommend this place any more. They are the only mechanics I trust.

Found this spot on Reddit, it was recommend my quite a few folks. Went to get my VW a safety inspection. The walk in service was quick and the two gentlemen I interacted with were great! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the speed of service. The person that did the inspection gave my a detailed review of how my vehicle did, and the gentleman behind the register recommended a great place for me to get repairs done, since not many shops service Volkswagens. Will definitely return for basic maintenance and when my truck needs service and I recommend this shop for others!
Used to bring my vehicles here for years until they took my recently restored Chevy Blazer mudding in their back lot. After noticing the mud caked in the wheel wells for the entire month they had it (took it there to have the electric window regulators changed over to manual) I spoke with their shop manager and he stated the mud was from the recent rain..
interesting how said mud was caked all over the inside of the 4 wheel wells. Even if it wasn't baja'd (it clearly had been) any shop worth their salt would have cleaned the wheel wells out as 80s squarebodies are prone to rusting in this area. Now I get to deal with the rust as a reminder of why I will no longer be doing business with Art Walkers.
Fantastic shop! I have had my work vehicles serviced here numerous times over the past handful of years and Jerry has always been honest about what needs to be done! Always a quick turnaround!
Owner is great. They don’t allow customer supplied parts. Diagnostic communication was not very good, which required owner to get involved … he looked it over and gave an honest assessment. Only paid for oil change. Nice owner.

I came here because of their amazing reviews and my family has gone before me. I went in with my check engine light I explained the diagnostic I had received from another shop that had tried to fix it only for the check engine light to come back on after leaving their shop. I tried replacing a sensor myself even. I told the shop I was there because of my check engine light being on and other shop duping me out of money and still having said problem. They had
My car for a week and did an oil change and told me the problem was fixed but the light was still on. I told them that’s what I wanted fixed was the check engine light. I got a call an hour later saying they reset the light and the problem was gone. I came I paid 170 to get in the car drive an inch and engine light was back on. They said crank shaft had popped up in the reader earlier but they had just reset the light for some reason I asked for a refund because I never wanted an oil change I wanted the car fixed. Instead they kept repeating to me how an oil change works as if I didn’t know how to get one. I would not come here if you have a problem with your Check engine they’ll juT turn it off and say it’s fixed
Art Walker’s Auto Service has taken excellent care of my personal ride. Just had my laundry-list of maintenance and repairs completed today and the car (2010 Hyundai) is driving like a dream! I was recommended by a colleague to use Art Walker upon my suspicion that my starter was giving out. They were very prompt on answering the phone, incredibly professional, and very patient (thank you Jerry, for all of your help!!) in helping me determine the best course of action and when I could bring in my car. Always amazing customer service, very knowledgeable, helpful, but most importantly honest. Been bringing vehicles there for over 10 years and never been mistreated. You ask around, more locals will offer the same sentiments.
They do great automotive repair plus they have a body shop. They aren't the cheapest repair shop in town, but they are the best. It's worth paying a few extra bucks to know you're vehicle is taken care of correctly. They aren't going to charge for work that doesn't need to be done either. They have been in the community for years and years. They offer towing as well. Basic towing is $70 as of April 2022 when calling about a tow. Prompt service!
Had them tow my bucket truck and regret it. Instead of loading it on a flat bed they used a truck that lifted it from behind. I suggested they drop it and use another truck but they assured it would be fine and proceeded down Cleveland Street. Less than a mile from my business they left my truck in a parking lot because the weight of the bucket on the front tires bent the frame of the truck in half. It is now totaled and I'm making an insurance claim. Yes the truck was older but was used as a bucket truck regularly even a day before without incident. The carelessness and negligence to get the proper truck cost me in the end and it was just left where it was and that was that, no f's given. Art Walker is a great guy and the place has done great work before but i just want everyone to know my experience and to go with your gut and don't trust others with your livelihood if you don't like what you see.

The gentleman who towed my car was very considerate of my feelings, was gentle with the car & put some stuff on the ground to absorb the full new bottle of transmission fluid that flushed out. After another towing company took more than 36 hours and still had not been able to tow my car, I called Art Walkers and they came in about 2 hours! Super friendly driver, Skip I think was his name. And they took care of getting my car to the dealership for service.
Was recommended to me by a trusted source after a less than pleasant visit with AAA. Service was excellent, on time, and honest. Art Walker's Auto Service saved me a pretty significant chunk of change and as a result, I will continue to come here for state inspections and any work needed.
I had some damage to the back of my truck and was referred to Art Walker who fixed my truck in a timely manner, had wonderful communication throughout the repairs and the staff were all welcoming and helpful. Art Walker is a company I recommend and will definitely be utilizing for any future needs. Very nice people. Reasonable price. Let's face it, things are expensive for the amount of training you need and labor but they were reasonable. A lot of times you get on the phone and it feels like it's not very personal. Got my airbag light fixed and they took my truck to get an exhaust leak done. Along with my inspection. I will be continue to come there for repairs.
Two separate times, I've had vehicles towed to Art Walker's after car-disabling issues. First time was for proximity to my car's break-down, second time I had it towed to them when it broke down 48 miles away. Both times I expected it to cost a lot and to be without a vehicle for a while. In both cases I was amazed by how quickly they got everything fixed Cheaper than I expected to pay. Doesn't push unnecessary repairs like other places. Dealt with Jerry both times and those guys had me ready to drive sooner than expected. They have my business in the future.

I have had some recent repetitive issues with my vehicle that have required multiple tows back to the dealership for repairs. During these issues I had dealt with over 7 different towing companies in various ways, with the majority of them were extremely poor in regards to reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and vagueness on timelines. My latest issue requiring towing had requests dropped or denied by 4 different tow companies leaving me stranded for over 12 hours.
Then comes in Glen from Art Walker towing. He was extremely professional, friendly, but most of all understanding of my situation. He was knowledgeable and transparent on the availability of his drivers and trucks and his explanations gave me a realistic understanding of his capabilities and availability. Once we arranged a meetup time to pick up the vehicle it was smooth sailing from there on out. The driver, Brian, also extremely friendly and professional, showed up 15 minutes EARLY, (a first for me) he helped push the vehicle into position to load on the truck, we were loaded and on our way in 20 minutes. Vehicle was transported safely and arrived on time at the dealership.
I can say enough positive things about this company.
Called to have my motorcycle towed and was told it would take roughly an hour. James the tow truck driver showed up within 35-45 min and helped me get the bike back home. Great tow prices and awesome customer service.
Showed up right at the cut off time for state inspections and they still did mine and another customer's who showed up right after me. Understanding it was hard for us to get off of work and make it in time during the week to get our inspection done.
People there are personable and very informative when I talk to them about getting future work done.
