Great place to get rid of scrap metal. Beautiful view as well. I would recommend not to bring a sports car or otherwise lower vehicle here as the road is steep and gravel with some deep rust.
I brought 3 radiators to this guy, didnt weigh it, just said come inside. Gave me $7. I didnt thinj about it till after I left but 3 radiators of aluminum weighs more then 7 pounds?? I go to TAS all the time with radiators and I usually get about $14 - $15 for 3. One was pure aluminum too.
I'm a full time mechanic and I know bs when I see it.
If there was a six star to give them I would give them prices were insane I almost fell over staff is incredibly friendly and helpful if you have scrap metal bring it here

This used to be the place where I would buy scrap metal from, and now they won't let you walk around and buy stuff from them so don't go here if you are looking to buy scrap metal.
prices half of what Kingsport iron and metal gives, and destroyed a ball joint getting to scrap yard in a lifted 4x4 truck. Gave it a try because reviews showed 5 stars but lesson learned
I'm from Kingsport I just left from there this is my new favorite place if you're a scrapper here in Kingsport I would highly recommend checking this place out.
These people are the best people I've met in a long long time. They are excellent and very reasonable. I ended up almost spending a day there. You'd thought I'd known them forever or was family. I loved it. I honestly didn't think there were still great people out there anymore. The best scrap metals yard I've ever went to and I've been from TN to Abingdon VA to Gate City VA Thank y'all bunches
