For over 15 years I and my family have used Advance Auto for our vehicles. We have probably purchased well over $3,000 to $4,000 annually. We own several farms. Last year I purchased a battery from this store. Today I took the battery to be checked out. There was a dead cell. I got it replaced and purchased some spark plugs, I got home and realized I couldn’t change the spark plugs but needed a turn signal light and a head light. With the return I would only owe $11 to them. But guess what? They refused. The spark plugs was purchased and in my procession for only 3 hrs. Advance stated I was a bad risk on returns. The reason the battery I returned they claimed wasn’t under warranty and they acted like I had somehow gyped them out of a battery. I went to OReileys in Gate City. Not only did I get my lights I got them cheaper.
NO MORE DEALINGS WITH ADVANCE!!
I will never purchase anything from them again. I will also make sure that no member of my extended family will buy anything from them. Nor any of my friends! Many are cattle farmers and we will just head to Rural King, Tractor Suppy, OReileys, and Amazon.
Get a brand new battery 2 weeks ago, thinking its a battery problem. I was been told by attendant that if battery doesn’t fix the problem, than you can return it. When I went back, they didn’t returned the Battery. Tyler and Rob were the one who handled the case.
They had every part I needed for a 30 yr. old Cummins cooling system in stock, except for the fan clutch. All the smaller stuff - thermostat, radiator cap, hose for a bypass...
Advance Auto is the auto store to go too. Keeping your auto and lawn equipment in good running order. They have every thing you need at their disposal. If they do not have in stock they will get what you need fast. Highly recommend.

I really like this Advance Auto parts store. I have been here a few times since moving to the area and the customer service has always been great. On my most recent trip I needed new windshield wiper blades for my 2013 Silverado. Not only did they have plenty to choose from but without even asking the sales associate ran outside in the rain and installed them on the spot. I also like that when I ask questions I get real answers. So often these days sales associates seem to no little to nothing about what they are selling. These people at least from the few and short interactions I have had seem to know what they are talking about. I will definitely buy auto parts in the future from here.
Called to the store to ask if a certain product was in stock a d the price of said product. The lady employee who answered the call asked how she could help I told her what I was looking for and she literally told me that she she didn't know what all kinds they have back there and that I would have to come to the store and see for myself.
I love this Advance Auto Parts the best. They are always very helpful and willing to listen to my crazy car stories and love of volkswagen. They also can get any part I need the next day if it isn't in stock. Joey's your Dodge, Subaru, Chevrolet expert. Chris is your Ford Expert on all things Ford. Hunter is your car detailing Expert. Everyone else is just as knowledgeable. They even carry a 1998 Toyota Water Pump Gasket in stock. I definitely do all my car parts needs here. Save some money call them or go down there because they could save you alot of money like figuring out the same Cam Shaft seal works for an Intermediate Shaft seal but not a crank shaft seal. 👍👍🚗🚘🚕🚖⛽⛽
I guess it's covid related but usually they'll come out n help you. I asked if they can point out 1 thing for me and he says I'm not allowed to. I had a mask, he did not. Either way we would not have been with in 6foot of each other. I Hate COVID! He helped me indide the store though.
Its a good store. Easier to find the parts yourself than asking some of the workers. I believe if you are going to work in an Auto-Parts Store......You should have at least a minimal understanding of AUTO PARTS
Typical advance auto parts.... store is kinda trashy, poorly laid out, employees didn't know where stuff was and woukd just kinda point you in the general direction while they continued to text or Facebook or whatever the hell they were doing.
Awful, I went in asking for o2 sensor (younger guy) he says I need 4 of them is what the computer says, I can't just buy one I have to buy all four. Total came out to be like $215. Brought three back to a different guy, he said "why'd you buy four of these things if you only needed one?" I said your dumbass newbie worker over there don't know jack and he said they'd take care of it. Buddy walked in today asking for the same thing and the dude told him the same thing the kid told me
