My truck was broken down on the road. 27 miles from statesville they have also Excel truck group there . But after searching my choice was on Excel truck group . I spent 300$ just for coolant 14 gallons of coolant in 80 miles. Every 15-20 mile I make stop to add 1.5gallons of coolant. Just to bring my truck at this dealership. Before I come here I read the reviews and off of them it’s true. They fixed my truck in 2 day. I wanna say big thanks for supervising and for all people who work at this dealership. I came to Dealer with transmission issue and thanks them, they found other issues on the truck that i had no idea about. It will obviosly help my drivers keep rolling without any breakdowns once all addressed. if you want the same high quality service and keep your truck always running, go to this shop and get some quality job at a good price and forget about breakdowns on the road that end up with road services. Rip off they keep finding problems until it adds up to the price of the truck and then they make it worse than it was before you brought the truck to them and by the way your truck can’t leave until you pay five grand once you pay that you still need a tow truck to tow to a place that can fix it the right Frist time lmfao I’m glad I was just the driver rip off excel stay away
My green truck was with them for two and a half days. They charged $1,500 for the repair while I was under load. I had to stay in a hotel for two and a half days. The issue was never fixed. Shameful service.
I was loaded and had 49 miles left to my delivery. After the repair, I was only able to drive 41 miles before breaking down again. They didn’t fix the problem

I just recently had my truck repaired at Exel Truck Group. I had my hood replaced, among other bodily damages. They did a tremendous job putting my truck back together. I recently struck a deer and it caused some damage to my hood, headlight, and bumper. I just received my truck back today and I am very impressed! They even cleaned it up after they fixed all the repairs.
Customer Service is phenomenal! I called a few times to check on the progress, and everytime Travis answered the phone... I expected to get a frustrated person as usually you do when calling multiple times to check progress, but I was surely proven wrong! Travis is a extraordinary example of what customer service should be like. He explained to me what was going on and what had to be done. I really, greatly appreciate Travis and I'm sure I can speak on behalf of most if not all drivers that get work done at Excel. Thank you Travis for being so kind, and respectful. I needed a turbocharger for my truck engine, my local dealer did not have it readily available. My local dealer found other dealers who had one, Excel Truck Center Roanoke was the closest to me but still 5 hours away. I called and spoke with Jed on Friday, who went above and beyond to make sure he had the turbocharger as well as gaskets, washers, and nuts to get the job done. When I arrived on Saturday, after traveling 5 hours, Morgan and John were really helpful with getting a few other things that I needed. All three of these guys truly helped me out with all the parts I needed to get this job done and be back in the road Monday. Excel Truck Group I want to thank you for your amazing parts inventory, everything I needed was in stock and correct, and your operating hours on Saturday. Will definitely reach out again, if needed. Their roadside service replaced my radiator on the side of the highway and had me going same night. They have a crane on their mobile truck for these things. Couldn’t have stayed on scheduled without them. And less costs than a tow to go get fixed. Saved me two loads worth of money. Andrew was great, and it is a great service.
This is a great place! We stopped in to get an airbag and another part, and they had it all right there. The staff is friendly, helpful, and patient (paid with EFS). We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back for more parts or maintenance. Once again, thank you all!
I had a busted radiator on my cascadia and I was adding water into the coolant tank every 5 minutes...
Dealership assigned the road service mechanic Andrew to fix my truck while I was 52 miles away from the dealership off of i81. He could've came out to me, or I could've gone to the dealership.... I was adding a gallon of water into the radiator tank every 5 minutes but I had water so I decided to drive to the dealership...
Some 3 hours later when I arrived at the dealership, the mechanic Andrew was ready for me, he had all the equipments and supplies out and was waiting for me to pull into the yard. He started to work on my truck at 8:30pm and he didn't stop until he was completely finished with the job he started well into the next day. After he was done installing and testing to confirm the job he did, he didn't stop there... oh no, he went to wash my engine for me so it looked better than before I had busted radiator, my engine looks beautifully clean.
Job well done mechanic Andrew. I appreciate you. The next day, shop gave me a courtesy inspection on my truck and sent me on my way.... The entire ordeal was covered under warranty and I didn't have to pay a penny for the job well done by this Excel Truck Group in Roanoke, VA
I have done business with VA Truck Center / Excel for years. I needed a Nox Sensor replaced under warranty today and Zoe Harsley went above and beyond to help me out, answering any questions I had and getting the truck in and out of he shop fast. Thanks to him I was able to still deliver the load on time.
My old fuel filter was starting to give me trouble on the road, so my company (Cowan) sent me here to get it checked out and replaced. Zoe was out to take my truck right away and I was back on the road in just under an hour. Thanks guys!

I was traveling from PA to GA overnight in an RV and noticed a significant loss in power and it kept going into a safety mode. We limped the bus to Roanoke in the middle of the night and hoped someone there could help in the morning since I had an important event in Atlanta.
Zoe and Ben understood the urgency of my situation and immediately sprung into action. Despite no bays being available, Ben began working in the parking lot to diagnose and fix a failed hose. The repair was completed in under 2 hours from arrival and I JUST made it to my event in Atlanta that same day thanks to them!!!!

The Dealership in Missouri did not find the problem. Just plug into diagnostics software and do a few keyboard maneuvers clear codes that tell there is a distinctive problem. A computer junky compared to a critical thinker with a bit of work ethic is a tattle tale; tell it story about work ethic.I had to stay in a hotel 5 days and had the same trouble just 2 days later, when I went to get a truck wash . A truck wash on bare exposed wire. I suggested to the dealership I believe it is a loose wire or wire connection. They ignored the information "virtual or physical" problem?
Excel staff and mechanics excelled and are "top gun", and not to be under rated by NO means. A West Viginia legacy kept alive by real people not slated to milk your purse.
As you can see.by the pictures these boys are serious in everything not just service but appearance and longevity.
Not covid-19 or "version 21" (coming soon) can stop these competitors.
After accident on I-81 I called around shops asking if I can bring my truck for repairs. 2 shops recommended Excel Truck Group. After I dropped off the truck at the shop they quickly started repairs and work with my insurance. Their body shop junior manager Stacy was very courteous during the repairs, informative and polite. Kept me informed about repair status, their shop manager David returned my call and gave me very precise ETA on when the truck would be ready for pick up. When I showed up it was all ready and like new. Already test run. Very satisfied with the repair and service. Good dedicated folks work here.
