I was completely stuck outside of a friend’s apartment! They got me out of the snow FOR FREE when they could’ve left me there to be stuck! I live two hours away and was visiting for the weekend, they helped me get back home. I highly recommend utilizing Mitchell’s to help you with your towing needs. Fantastic people.
I can't express enough the awesome level of service I received. The service was quick and reliable. Ethan showed up and instead of just hooking my car up and driving away he ask me to try to start my car and he listened to it and thought it might be the battery. He jumped my car , helped me find a battery store close by . He followed me there and helped me out my battery in my car. This service is so far above and beyond . I haven't experienced service like this in years ! I will refer Mitchell's to everyone I know !
I was really in a jam! Rt460E near Bonsack during heavy 4PM Friday traffic driving my classic fully restored '86 Porsche 944 Turbo. Suddenly the engine died and I barely got off the road!! A DME relay failed. I called SCC who then chose Mitchell's for my Porsche. My wait in that heavy thunderous traffic was only about 25 minutes. The driver noticed my low slung car and got out is long, low angle ramps that allowed my car to get onto his rollback bed without any underbody scrapes or scratches. Man, these guys are pros! Efficient and professional, with very reasonable pricing. 5 stars isn't enough.
Terrible. Lady who picked phone up was cranky, unhelpful, and rude. Told us that we could not pick our vehicle up despite it being advertised on their website that it was 24/7. Did not give us any kind of indication on how to pay either. The guy we picked our car up from was nice as can be, but the terrible communication from whoever is on the phone is unacceptable.
From Florida on Virginia motorcycle trip. Broke down at 5:00 p.m. Saturday night on highway. Made it to a convenience store before dark. Insurance company failed me. Called Mitchell Towing on my own. Mick and Ms. Ruby showed up after finishing a previous call. Loaded my Harley on a tow truck in the most Professional way. Drove me 80 miles to Roanoke to my motel at 2:00 a.m. Rick and Ms. Ruby are most delightful. I Highly recommend Mitchell Towing. Please request Mick. We called road side assistance and they sent Mitchell’s out to help us. I was sure I was going to need an expensive towing but when the truck got there the driver was nice and able to fix my issue without any hefty fees. These guys are so great! They came to give me the tow and when the battery started right away, they followed me to advance auto to make sure the battery was all I needed. Highly recommend!

My company truck broke down in my driveway at home. I called Mitchell's and the tow truck was there in 30 minutes! The driver hooked up to it and was gone in just a few minutes! All in all great experience. The only thing I would have thought would have happened was the key to be taken to the drop box at the repair shop and not left in the truck with the key in the seat over night...
Joe responded to my call for help with a flat tire. He called and told me he was finishing up a tow job and would arrive in about 20 minutes. He quickly removed my flat tire, removed the temp tire from my trunk and had it on my vehicle in no time, placing the flat tire in my trunk. He was so efficient, professional and polite. It was a pleasure working with Joe.
Joe from Mitchell’s towing towed our Tahoe to a shop for us and he did a fantastic job! He was polite, friendly and was easy to talk to. He showed up in about 30 minutes and had the vehicle loaded and ready to go in less than 5 minutes! We found ourselves in a real situation when we got our U-Haul stuck in a deep ditch. We were told to call Mitchell’s Towing by a couple people in the area. Mick came quickly and with a crew to ensure that he could get our 26’ U-Haul out of the ditch. He was nothing but kind and friendly, and even stuck up for us when U-Haul was going to try to make us pay another $450 on top of what we had just paid simply for towing the U-Haul to a place because U-Haul wanted to price gouge us. Mick and his crew were quick and helpful, and they stuck around until we got our issues resolved with U-Haul to make sure we were towed and safe. I highly recommend Mitchell’s Towing to anyone in the area in need.
Adam was very helpful this weekend. He responded quickly and really helped me out with a flat tire. He was able to inflate my tire so that I could drive it to the repair shop without it being towed. I would recommend Mitchell’s if you need help with your vehicle. I have found them to be fair and reasonable.

I had a truly excellent experience with Mitchell towing. The man who contacted me was extremely polite and professional. I immediately felt comforted knowing that he understood exactly the situation and was going to quickly come render needed assistance. He was very kind and waited until my wife was able to come pick up my father and my son so that no one needed to wait in the cold blowing wind near a busy highway. A true professional and I thank him very much for his help.
I would give Mick 27 stars if I could. I was in such a bind after ice storm and my car had slid into drainage ditch. Two other tow companies had come out and left before even speaking to me. Mitchell’s had Mick out in less than 24 hours and he was personable, knowledgeable and my car is in perfect conditions despite the tough spot it was in.
