Excellent service, replaced the battery in a 2013 Ford Escape. Had to remove the whole air cleaner assembly to get to it. Took about an hour. Technician was very nice and thorough. I've had other places refuse to install one.

I have never walked in here without seeing at least two faces behind the counter, unlike their competitor down the street. I get taken care of very quickly, and the guys are really friendly and knowledgeable.

Update: The General Manager reached out and so graciously refunded us the money for the battery. I changed my review to 5 stars, because they responded incredibly fast and have exceeded our expectations. Went to have my husband's truck battery replaced. The replacement took around an hour and a half as the employees could not find the correct socket to fit the positive terminal. No problem, this has been an issue before so we were aware it would take some time. When the replacement is complete, we took the truck home. My husband goes to start it the next morning, it won't turn over. We pop the hood to see that not only did they leave the socket stuck to the positive terminal, the terminal is loose, the battery is leaking battery acid, the bar that goes across the battery to hold it in place is not attached, and the cover of the terminal has been broken off. We were not made aware of any of this. Because the socket was so stuck, we had to have the vehicle towed, and pay to have the positive terminal replaced. We accepted the free battery installation with the battery purchase because the assumption was that this simple task could be handled. I would have preferred they just told us they could not replace it, instead of having to pay additional costs.

I had broken down in Dollar general pushed my car as a female to advanced Auto. They rude and wouldn't come out to look at car. Bought 166 dollar battery and it wasn't even the problem

RICK WINKLE IS A GREAT SALESMAN. HE HAS HELPED ME NUMEROUS TIMES IN THE PAST TWO MONTHS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT'S CAUSING MY CAR TO OVERHEATE. HE'S A TOP NOTCH MECHANIC AS WELL. THANK YOU RICK FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME DURING THIS TIME. MUCH APPRECIATED MY FRIEND!

Always willing to help if they aren't busy...good place to get parts most of the time cheaper than other stores..if I can't wait to get it off amazon..some things you just got to pay the price so it will be correct part...I would recommend them.

Tim was wonderful and made a bad experience good. I had purchased a battery online for my truck and picked up at the Key Largo Florida location before we made our trip to Pennsylvania. We made it to Pulaski VA. and had transmission problems. Once the transmission was fixed we came back to get the truck and the battery had gone bad due to sitting so long. I was going to have to jump through alot of hoops to get a new one ,due to online purchase policies. He helped us out right away and made sure we got a replacement and we were on our way. Made our day so much better in a time of need. Thanks so much!!

Needed a wheel bearing seal for a trailer had the old one but it didn't have any numbers on it .The employees including the manager acted like they were afraid to get a little grease on there hands and said we have hundreds of seals but no way to figure out which one you need. I went to orilys where they were more than happy to help I will never go to advance auto in Pulaski again

They seem not to want give you service they just seem like to care to help me get what I needed so I went to O'Reilly's where they helped me out immensely. Was an advance shopper and I got all my cars needs at advance but from here on out I go to O'Reilly's Auto parts store

Customer Service at this store is top notch! I was very thankful for one of the guys that went out of his way to make sure my friend, who is a widow, had everything she needed, and she didn’t over pay. The parts were great quality.

Ordered and paid online. Went to pick up, order not ready. Not the first time so I dont think they ever check. Asked about renting a tool. "Hiram" says they dont have it. I asked if he knew what it was. "Hiram" didnt. No thank yous, nothing. Maybe "Hiram" was thinking about his horse and carriage or his cuzin. terrible service. Will go a block away to a better store next time.

Ordered and paid online. Website says open until 9 pm Mondays. Arrived at 8:10 pm and they were closed. Employees ignored our plea for help. Terrible service. Switching to different supplier.

Just went in to buy a quart of oil. Didn't have the specific synthetic oil i was looking for. I bought a more expensive type since i needed it quickly. I go there often and usually get what i need.

Pretty bad when you have merchandise in hand to check out and the guy behind the counter goes outside to smoke and talk on his cell phone. And the other guy behind the counter either couldnt or wouldnt work the register.

I have been buying car parts for years. My first experience there. The person that waited on me asked me to repeat the car and make again. I repeated it a little louder a little clearer, only to have him jump down my throat saying he's not death. My friend with me was also amazed how he acted. Didn't go back for months. I did try again. This person was no longer there. Another person was there I wished I would've gotten his name. He was courteous, professional and put out an amazing amount of effort to try to help out. Some of the things I work on are very unique. Several times he waited on me and was professional and very courteous. At a later time lady waited on me and sold me the wrong thing upon returning it. I learned I had grabbed a little wrong bag and didn't have the receipt. She accepted the return was amazingly rude and nasty to me. And only issued a card only good at Advanced auto parts that would be fine with me if she wasn't so rude about doing it. When I went back to complain along with the receipt. I learned she was not there and she was the manager. I was looking for an adapter later, she waited on me again called me honey told me she didn't have that. I purchased it from the Radford advance store, they even had it in stock. I have been dealing with parts counter people for years and years and she is by far the rudest person I've dealt with. And now I'm hearing I am not the only person she is that way with. I even had somebody else who sold parts tell me they've heard all kinds of stories on her. I am now dealing with somebody else where.
