MELISSA IS AMAZING. FRIENDLY, KIND, SUPER CHEERFUL AND HELPFUL! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was on the hunt for car detailing SUPER CLEARANCE deals that have been posted on recent FB groups. I was able to find many items still on the shelf and acutal priced LOWER than the printed clearance tags. I got everything you see for $25 out the door! LET'S GOOOOO! ??✌?✌?

I went to Advanced Auto Parts to buy a new car battery, and I’m really disappointed with the service I received. The battery I was going to purchase did not require professional installation—it was a simple, standard drop-in replacement that I could have easily installed myself. However, when I asked for their help with the quick install (something most auto parts stores are usually happy to do), they refused. It wasn’t because of any safety issue, or under staffed or complex setup—it was a basic battery for a regular vehicle. Instead of helping a potential paying customer, they just turned me away with no explanation other than “we don’t install those.” To make things worse, I called customer service afterward hoping they could explain or help resolve the issue, but they were no help at all. I was basically told there’s nothing they could do. If you’re expecting friendly customer service or basic help after buying a product, I’d recommend taking your business somewhere else—like AutoZone or O’Reilly’s—where they actually assist their customers.

Great service! Parker was very helpful and knowledgeable! He helped me replace the things needed on my car without me even having to ask! Highly recommend!

This place used to be way better than O’Reillys in Poquoson and definitely better than AutoZone. But since there seems to be some sort of new management team or a whole new set of employees, it has seriously gone downhill since then make sure you never ask the guy with the red hair any questions or he will be super mad and if his employees have to ask him a question he’ll be even worse. Just bad business all around.

I rarely ever have a hard time there. But all they sell or have in stock is Dorman products. Which you really can never depend on for anything.

My saviors! My battery died on a rainy Friday evening and I called Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Walmart to see if they would install a new one real quick before they closed. Auto Zone didn’t want to do it because it was raining. Pep Boys said it would take them an hour to install. These guys at Advanced Auto rolled up their sleeves and helped me out with no hesitation. I was in and out in 15 mins. They really did get me back on the road! Thank you so much.

Chris and Dustin are the go to MVP of this store. Always willing to help and very knowledgeable. A+++ customer service!

The staff in the Poquoson store is top notch. They are always friendly, polite and knowledgeable. One thing I really appreciate about the staff is that if they don't know the answer or can't find something. They don't try to BS the customer like many parts stores. You will always get an honest opinion with the best price options without pressure for the purchase of premium parts. If you need help just call and Chris, Dustin, Hanna or any of the others will provide you with great professional service...

Just bought windshield wipers for my 2006 Honda Odyssey. Two of the nicest sales associates helped me purchase the best wipers for my car. Great customer service!

Was looking for a battery for my Riding Lawn Mower (April 1st, 2022). The lady working there was very helpful, I tried out one of the batteries but my Riding Lawn Mower didn't like it very much, so I took it back with no hassle.

I just had my battery replaced at Advanced Auto in Poquoson. It was done in no time. They are very helpful and courteous. One of the employees noticed that my oil was low and replaced it. A happy ending to an, otherwise, bad experience( dead battery)! Thanks Advanced Auto!

Great customer service. I needed a new battery and they were most helpful. They tested the old battery then gave me options for replacement. New battery was installed in a very professional manner and all this in a timely manner and reasonable price.
