Awfully ran automotive shop. I installed a 3” lift kit on my truck after taking the 7.5” lift off. After doing so it needed an alignment pretty bad and the company that transported the truck from my house to the first shop broke a few suspension components which caused the first shop to reject it so that’s when Rowlands Automotive took it into their hands. They received it around the first day of December. I ordered new parts that were broke and was told after what I ordered came in what he had ordered would be already there and the truck would be in and out in no time. After the parts I ordered came in and were dropped off, Apparently what he said he was going to order still wasn’t ordered. 2 weeks later he finally orders the parts needed but they were broke so he had to order them from another dealer. At this time there were periods were we’d ask for updates like you’d think you’d get and there would be 7+ days pass without any word after multiple text were sent. I run an excavation company and understand If things get busy and you get a day behind on communication but never a week+ that is pitiful. Finally the parts come in and it takes nearly a week still before the parts are installed. My truck sat at his shop for about 6 weeks and i’m just now getting it back. To add, I was charged $600 (6 hours of work) to take some parts off and install new ones which makes no sense because you’d think if that’s only how long it’ll take to install the new parts then why let it sit for a few days when you could get more cars done? I’ll put it like this. If you want a back yard ran automotive shop with little to zero communication at all then this is the place for you. Sad that this story is getting out pretty quick and friends that own local nationally trademarked dealerships have said they don’t charge that much for labor which is pretty sad. It’s worth going to the Professionally ran automotive companies and again not a back yard business.

My boss uses their services for major repairs on our work trucks. He speaks very highly of them and from little I've seen, they are very professional and an extremely hard working organization.

Friday night at 5pm we began having car trouble. We were passing thru Gretna and we stopped to fill up, we noticed our car making a weird sound. Called a mechanic, no answer. Called Rowlands and Robert answered the phone. He agreed to meet us where we were broke down. Looked at our car and asked us to follow him to his shop about a mile up the road. We did and after an hour and a half the weird sound went away but he did find another minor issue with our car. He gave us advice and assured us we were OK to continue our trip. We tried to pay him but he would not accept any payment. We did later repair what Robert told us to fix. Robert, kindness and honesty is far and few these days and we appreciate you. You are a rare jewel. Thank you.

Really great service! I like how homey the environment is! I apologize for any weird behavior! I'm a schizoeffectve, so talking can get weird/awkward! Really honest place and people!

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! Do not go here!! Seriously!! Worst garage ever!! My husband and me put our vehicle in there because the tire valve stem needed to be replaced along with the tpms sensor and we wanted the brakes to get looked at and replaced. So they called my husband and told him the vehicle needed all new rotars and that it was going to cost $900!! The rotars had just been replaced mind you by my husband so anyways my husband told them that was way to expensive just do the tire not brakes. Well they end up calling my husband back saying “we can’t get the lug nuts off the wheel, your gonna have to come look at it you can use the shop” so my husband had to go down there with his tools and take the lug nuts off himself and change the sensor himself and still had to pay them even though they did nothing he did it all!!!
