The location is extremely sketchy and unnerving to say the least . When i called ; the guy on the phone was nice and understood how frustrated i was that my car got towed . Also explained that they’ve had my complex for months and didn’t start towing until now due to corporate getting on them. Coincidently the first day of the year they decide to actually start working .
Anywho , he told us we had to call an hour ahead to get a driver to the lot so we can pick up our car . When we arrived to the lot , we weren’t greeted at all , the workers conversation seemed much more important than conducting business with the customers standing right in front of them.
The driver finally got out of the truck AFTER I called the office again to let them know that we have arrived . As the driver approached he tried to raise the price on us to which i laughed and told him “No the guy on the phone said XYZ dollars “ to which he replies “ Sometimes they like to change the prices on me” and continues to complain about how he doesn’t get paid to do this job. That’s extremely unprofessional to try to slick by and get me to pay more because your employer doesn’t want to pay you . These crooks need to stay far away from my vehicles !
To sum it up, I wouldn’t do business with anyone else not even the dealership where I got my car from. Petes AUTOMOTIVE is run by family. It’s a small shop but very quick and very easy to deal with. The mom that runs it is so kind she dropped me off at work and offered to pick me up until my car was done. She also gave me a price of $268 but when I went to pay she said she was able to get a less expensive part and it took $25 off. This is my 2nd time taking my cats to her. Also she took me to work at 5am in the morning. She is a sweetie and her mechanic is very experienced and equipped to handle major repairs at a reasonable price.
