B. Jones responded to our call for help, a dead battery. He was there within 10 minutes and after checking out our car’s battery, replaced it with a new one and within 40 minutes, we were on our way home. Mr Jones was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. Thanks so much!

I just got my truck towed and John was fantastic. The service took a little while but you never know how many calls they have so that's understandable. He was very friendly and made the experience a lot less stressful.

Called AAA and they sent Freedom Towing out. The office called to let me know they received the call from AAA and a driver would be there in about 45 mins. As luck would have it he was not far away on another call. It was about 20 mins. Very nice young man and professional.
I was having a very bad day until I called freedom towing. Thank you Azad for making sure this was a smooth process. They even recommended which shop would be the quickest and cheapest to repair my vehicle.
Called AAA for towing and RONALD from Freedom Towing and Recovery, Newport News, VA arrived at the time promised by AAA. It was a great pleasure to have Ronald assist me with my car. I am not sure of the gentleman’s name that help me today with my tire. But he was nice kind and funny. He made a stressful situation relaxing a replaced my tire with a spare in less than 15minutes.

My 2022 Acura ILX battery died. The driver-don't know his name- checked my battery and stated I needed a new one. No problem. He then informed me that my alternator was "bad". I called Freedom to get the driver's name, but the RUDE lady refused to give me his name. Nothing is wrong with my 3-year-old Acura's alternator. Giving customers expensive, inaccurate information is not cool. Not giving the driver's name is not cool either!
This company is the worst! On June 29, our vehicle was hit from behind by a freedom towing vehicle. The police were called, there were no injuries, a report was not filed. We exchanged phone numbers and insurance information. After leaving the scene the driver texted us openly admitting that he was not paying attention as he was on his tablet. We had been stopped for several seconds. Additionally, the driver wanted us to settle this outside of insurance which was declined. The driver gave us false information and is refusing to return calls or answer insurance. This resulted in us being responsible for filing under our insurance and paying the deductible. We have reached out to Freedom Towing several times requesting to speak to a supervisor and have been told they will call us back. We have yet to receive a call back. Freedom needs to take responsibility for the acts that their dishonest employees perform. This is completely unacceptable.
They've always been very quick and very polite when I've used their services through my AAA roadside assistance. Very responsive with their arrival time so you're not left wondering if assistance is actually on its way. Would highly recommend!
My van broke down in front of my house (Thank God!). Called AAA & they called Freedom to pick up the van and deliver it to the dealership. Lamar showed up "on time" (he had called me beforehand with a time), did a quick survey of the van and found that the shifter cable had broken off of the transmission. He was polite, professional & VERY helpful. Excellent Service!!!
I contacted AAA for car lockout assistance. Josh and another gentleman (who was lovely but I didn't get his name), reached out to me immediately and, even over the phone, sounded incredibly pleasant and kind. They arrived to my location in less than 10 minutes and had me back in my car so quickly. Both gentlemen were so genuinely kind and kept me laughing even after being upset over my car. Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. :)
My first interaction with Freedom Towing was with Justice, who answered my panicked call at 8am, and I instantly knew I had called the right place. I have never had to call a tow truck before, and my car was on the side of 64 - I had no clue what to do. I did a quick google search and picked the location nearest me with good reviews. Justice answered right away and was extremely patient with me throughout the entire phone call, knowledgeable, and proficient at her job. She answered all of my questions right away and quickly assigned me a tow driver to be there in 45 minutes. The driver who arrived was professional and promptly loaded my car up and safely got me to where I needed to be. Thank you so much for the seamless resolution of the horrible start to my Thursday morning.
I called at 8:30am the lady that answered was very nice got me a quote right away and said that I would have a tow driver 30-45mins. The gentleman that came was very professional and showed up about 45 mins after my initial call. All in all cost me $97 very fast and fair. I would definitely recommend others to use them.
I’m a AAA member, they sent out tech Ben to assist with a battery issue. Wanted to leave a comment: Ben was so kind and helpful to my son. Tested his battery. Provided info on replacement type, how to replace & store options. Would def reach out again!! Thank you, Ben!!!
Shawn, the tow truck operator, reached out every step.of the way and even took photos of the vehicle upon delivery. He was so helpful, reassuring and responsive. Justice with the company also did an excellent job in communicating and quickly getting the service call taken care of! Will definitely use them again if needed. Thank you!
We were helped by a technician, Charles, yesterday from Freedom Towing and Recovery. We locked our car key in the car at Sandy Bottom Nature Park. Charles was professional, competent, careful, and courteous. He got the car opened promptly and without any problems. We are very grateful for Charles’ help. Thank you.

AAA call. Driver was over hour and half late. Then declined the call after arriving because he could not handle the job. Would not recommend for any job
Explain to the dispatch operator my location and I needed a tow. I told her, I was at the Wawa on Jefferson Ave & Harpersville Rd. I didn’t give her the address, but she said it was okay she would look it up. The operator sent the tow truck driver to the wrong Wawa on Jefferson Ave. I had to pay more than the quoted price for my tow because they charge by the mile. Due to my situation, I had no choice to pay and wait longer for the driver.
The driver was great, only the operator is not good at her job.
I have been staying with friends and going home when I need to do something. I was surprised to see a flat tire on my second car when I got there today. Called AAA, and Freedom Towing sent a driver within 10 minutes. Ben was friendly, fast, and competent. He noticed my camera and asked if I would take his picture, so I did. He filled up my spare, and exchanged it for the flat. I was able to continue my planned activities almost uninterrupted. Thanks, Ben!
I spent “2” days and “3” hours trying to purchase
AAA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE to have my son’s car towed from a repair shop in hampton that was seemingly trying to railroad him.
COLES towing was actually parked next to us with a driver inside ready to tow. However we were told to call dispatch. Coles Towing wanted over $100 to take the car only 2.8 miles plus services fees if using a card.
We then called Wolfs towing who offered a lesser amount but was unable to provide an eta.
Called FREEDOM TOWING got someone on the line who was very professional and treated me like I was their only customer . The fee was adequate and was able to have a driver out in less than 30 minutes who was patient, understanding, professional and proficient . If I can’t get a roadside membership we will always keep Freedom Towing in our list of contacts. Thanks FREEDOM TOWING… keep doing what you are doing . #FREEDOM-TOWING
Henry came out to help me when I called AAA for a dead battery. He was quick, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. I felt that he was shooting straight with me the whole time, and I appreciated how quickly he did the work. Also, whoever borrowed his wire brush ought to give it back! Thanks, Henry!
