Wonderful people! Needed my alternator replaced and every shop I called couldn’t get me in same day until I called them. They were extremely helpful and got me in and out so I could be back on my way. Definitely recommend.
I needed an inspection and called everywhere. Shops would either not answer the phone or tell me it would take anywhere from 8 hours to 3 days to get my car inspected! Burton's was different! They answered the phone immediately and told me my inspection would only take about an hour or so! I then called back and added a tire rotation and oil change which they added on no problem and still had me out of the shop in no time at all! They are priced exceptionally well. I will be coming back for whatever I may need and I am very satisfied with their services.
Driving home from Myrtle Beach my Jeep started acting funny to where I needed to pull over, we stopped at Burtons, they were able to diagnose and fix the problem and have us back on the road within two hours. They were amazing and worked quickly.
I took my car to Burton’s because it was running hot. I had to take it back 3 times and got charged $1,248 and the car still runs hot. The 3rd time I picked it up, it started running hot within 60 seconds of driving it – so, of course they knew it wasn’t fixed when they gave it back to me. They refuse to refund my money. I see it’s happened to other people also – don’t take it sitting down. I contacted the Attorney General’s office and am doing a complaint with the BBB. Even though they are not a member of the BBB, you can still leave a rating. Furthermore, I’m filing a lawsuit with the Henrico courts. Don’t use these people!
Took our car to get inspection they really nice! We never done something like that before since we haven’t lived in VA long! Definitely recommend them, although I didn’t get “work” done I would still recommend and trust them with my vehicles
Went in for state inspection in the morning, needed new brake pads to pass, and all service plus inspection was complete before noon. Very polite, kind, and straightforward group of guys. Reasonably priced. I’d gladly recommend this place to anyone.
Horrible I used them a lot they have turned into crooks tried to triple charge me for parts , said they did work that they didn't perform I know times are rough but you need to value your customers more
Had them replace a clutch for me a while ago. First of all the parts that were used were twice the price and half the quality. After picking up my car once they had kept it for what seemed like forever without any updates and without being able to get in contact with anyone what do ever on the phone. The car actually shifted as bad or worse than it did when I originally took it in. I called back to tell them what was going on with my car and all they said was it was probably air in the system and to just give it a little time. After a few weeks I called back and was told that they would come tow it in and revisit the issue which never happened because apparently the tow truck was broken and they would get my car picked up as soon as possible. Needless to say this game of cat and mouse went on and on with absolutely no resolution to my issue what so ever. I've since had to pay another shop another $2,000 just to get the problem corrected. In my opinion this is an extremely unethical business and I would never recommend this place to anyone friend or foe.......
I was driving across the country when I had a tire problem. I stopped by Burton’s and they helped me out and had my back on the road in no time. These guys are down to earth and just great people, and for a great price as well. I highly recommend stopping in if you have any automotive issues!
Love this shop. The guys are always straight forward and extremely knowledgeable about their craft. I let them work on all of my vehicles including my personal, company car, and my 59 Chevy 3100 truck. Prices are good and work is reliable.
Long story short I’ve always gone to them as well as my dad. Never had issues until today. They decided to peel my inspection sticker off and it wasn’t expired nor did I go in for an inspection. Very illegal and then they tried to lie about it!!!! I guess they wanted me to pay more money knowing if they peeled it off, I’d have to pay for a certain part in order to get another inspection sticker. They “forgot” to tell me on the phone when I called about the car issues. Thank you Burton for making my day hell ☺️ never thought I’d be leaving a bad review for them. So disappointed
Small shop but great work at a low price! I bought some KYB Mono Max shocks online. My friend's lift broke so I had to have someone else install them. Shocks were installed and completed at superb great price. Only took them around an hour to complete. They also have an awesome little shitzu dog at the shop that loves a good pet and treats.
One of the best things you can say about your auto mechanic is that he is honest. These guys are good and honest to boot.
Update - November 2019 - Caught them trying to charge me $1,300 for work (oil pump replacement) that was not done. They had an excuse, which I did not believe. Makes me question a lot of things in the past. We are no longer doing business with Burton's for that reason.
Staff is great, super friendly and honest. Definitely call ahead since it is a small shop. We had the exhaust pipes and muffler replaced in my Silverado in a matter of days with 1 day notice to the shop. Highly recommended and will definitely return.
The men were very nice, professional and certified to work on my truck. It's a small building but a very, very busy business!! I went into the office and played with Bentley, their dog!! Bentley helped to lower my stress level and slow my mind down and getting my truck inspected helped me take one thing off my list of things to do this week!! I would definitely go back for oil changes and other car repairs. A really GREAT COMPANY WITH FRIENDLY STAFF!!
Poor service. I was swindled out of my money and then asked for a refund. They declined and held my car there asking for a storage fee in-order to get my car back. They even went as far as to ask for the title of the car so they can claim it as there own in order to pay off the storage debt. These are two lazy guys who inherited a shop from there father, it’s a shame!!
This is a great shop! They do an excellent job! Kevin and his brother and their team are honest, nice, and respectful! Their pricing is fair, they are not over priced and not the cheapest (you get what you pay for when you go cheap)! It's a normal automotive repair shop but they also do pretty much everything for 4x4 off road repairs and upgrades.
Trustworthy, friendly, reasonable. Figured out what was wrong with my car when 2 other shops could not. I will drive 20 miles round trip to have my car worked on here.
Fast friendly service. I needed and inspection and was given an option to leave the vehicle, wait or come back. I decided to come back at the time siggested. When I returned I was taken immediately and my car was inspected quickly!
