Some old man stands guard at the door and won't let people inside. What kind of DMV is this? I used to like to come here because it was quick and easy. Now that the door is guarded by some random old guy I'll go somewhere else.
Been here twice recently and each time the ladies/gentlemen were outstanding. Extremely nice, helpful, patient, and professional. People joke about the DMV being slow and rude but the people at Trip’s couldn’t be further from that stereotype. Thank you for helping us!!
You must wait in your car until called if you have a DMV appointment. Once you get in the DMV ladies are always super nice, they joke with you and are efficient and clear
Customer service here is A LOT better than an ordinary DMV. Appointments usually run on time. It's my go to DMV. Well worth the little extra drive to Berryville.
It's so nice to have a DMV that is inside of a little place that sells cars and to be able to get the quality of service that you get without having to wait at the big DMVs. My transaction was smooth I was only there about 10 minutes to get tags for and title for my trailer that I bought and the ladies there were pleasant polite and very good to work with. This is the second time I've been there and absolutely love the location and help.
I registered my first vehicle for my business today. The process was smooth and took about 15 mins- call beforehand to ask what you need to bring with you and to schedule an appt. I called this morning and had an appt at 12:30 same day (God is good ?). I don’t know if they take walk-ins. The staff was very polite. They were training a young lady too (she’ll fit right in she did very well). I recommend them for your registration needs!!
This is actually the DMV... Where to can register car and get plates. The staff is friendly and the service is fantastic. Don't go to Leesburg or Winchester and stand in line and get every document scrutinized like you are trying to cheat... Go here where the staff wants to be helpful.
Can’t stand trying to go here horrible. They’re never open till the time their website says. They aren’t clear when it comes to walk in or appt. On their website. Two days I show up in a row and they are closed before 5 or was never open at all. DMV make things so difficult. The town center in Berryville, va has no regulations over covid a year later and DMV still do the hell. They act like they are going to fall over dead from it with there 2” plastic cover in front of the help desk. And still making appointments. Insane. Come on.
In 20 years of dealing with dmv, this was the best experience ever. The employees treat you like they genuinely care and they are so nice. 100% recommend
Fast and efficient way to get my DMV business done without going to the DMV. Limited services, so check on that first, but highly recommended if they can help you.
As of 6-3-2021 employees wear TRUMP shirts and Memorabilia. Service is based on appearance and I’m now guessing race. Disregard making an appointment as it doesn’t really matter. I suggest going to a dmv where they follow discrimination laws. Side note, the women there are very nice. So 2 stars.
Quick and easy DMV option! Staff is very helpful and nice! Can't do licenses but titling and registration services only take around 15 minutes if you have everything you need!
Was there on May 5 second time excellent service in and out pretty fast and no hassles very nice people there I recommend this to anybody who needs their service you still have to get an appointment but that is what it is but I highly recommend it
There can be some times where I called trips, and most of the people that answer the phone are super nice. There's one lady I don't know her name but she can be very rude. Obviously I don't care about rude people or I wouldn't have given them five stars, so keep up the good work do the rest of those hard-working people there thank you for making the DMV a little better
The ladies working in the DMV select office were fast and efficient. Are they employed by the state or the dealership. I've never been in a dmv that can even say hello to me by the time they took care of my transaction. You need more people like that - they should train people how to work at DMV.
Just got back from this place. Called yesterday and the lady said yes they were open and to come anytime. 1 hour drive for me. Never did she say I needed an appointment for DMV services. What a waste of time not to mention we were there at 7:45 with no one in the parking lot. Good customer service would have been,” sorry about that miscommunication, seeing there is no one here, we can help you out this one time”. Instead while I was looking up on my phone and trying to make an appointment, I was told by the little old lady,” You need to leave now, you can’t park here!” I was shocked. Some postings are right, rude people and do not know how to talk to people. I will be reporting this DMV location to the state for horrible attitudes and misleading or lack of information. I would have put zero stars.
DMV Select experience: Liz helped me with a VERY last minute registration issue and literally saved me from having to drive all the way to VA from CT to handle it. She's sharp, professional and knows how to make things happen. Very understanding of the problem and the context of the issues we're all facing lately. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and her follow-up was also prompt.
So I got here at 6:15 am to get in line. I brought a chair like everyone else. It opened at 8:30 am and I was #22. I waited 2 more hours till I got in to do my paper work. They were really nice. I knew I was in for a long wait. I'm just posting my review so you know kinda what to expect!
There could not possibly be a better place to handle select dmv tasks. My office goes here a couple times a month and their employees are the best!!! Worth the drive not to sit at the one in kernstown for 4 hours!!
Quickest in and out DMV service around! Even quicker than Front Royal and the place is so small and usually not very many people. Great place to go for DMV services and they also are a lot nicer and actually get things done as well.
I'm sure they won't give you any tests or handle anything extremely major, but for taxes, titles and registrations, they're great. You're in and out MUCH quicker than the regular DMV. Plus, the ladies are much more personable. Just drive carefully, if you go Senseny Road.
I had to renew our Subaru registration at their DMV office because it was fast. It took 15 minutes while at the one on Route 11 takes a couple of hours.
I dont got to the auto sales, i use their DMV service. These ladies know what They are doing and get you in and out in a jiffy. Not only are they very professional they are funny too! They only offer title tag service here. No testing or pictures taken here. Other than that, I'd give them a million stars!
Good place to get your DMV business taken care of if you don't want to wait hours at the DMV. Never bought cars there. Seems like cars/trucks are generally not so good.
