First time at a junkyard and both of the receptionists were amazing, super clean yard set up. Didn't find what I came for but left with something I needed. Will be back for sure

The new location is a lot cleaner trying to get there from 58 is a hot mess and very dangerous if you're coming from Portsmouth I want to Northern Indiana Suffolk or Chesapeake you have to come down 58 and try to make a left turn onto oncoming traffic which is always heavy good luck doing that do not think I will be back again
Had a u pull it pickup through Peddle scheduled, called 4 times the day of to get confirmation on the pickup time. No one picked up the phone when I got transferred to the Chesapeake location any of the times I called. And voicemail was full. No one ever came to tow my car.
I was referred to Foss to scrap my car. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Heather and Samantha. They gave me a fair and great price for my car. Thank you!

I've used foss to put back together a front end on a Chevy S10 and it was close to close time for the yard and the staff worked with me to get the last few parts I needed when they could of just said no and made me leave with out what I needed. I reached out to Heather to sell a junk car. I usually bring in my vehicle's myself. Because of my truck being down Heather sent Scooby to come pickup the car. The car was blocked between the customer home and a truck. I thought Scooby was going to either be upset about having to struggle to remove the car or say he couldn't do because of the car being blocked. Scooby actually didn't do either. He laughed and told me watch this I'm going to get it out of there. I watched Scooby work his truck in a very tight area like it was nothing. Me and a lot of other tow drivers wouldn't have been able to get that car out the way Scooby did. This guy is amazing !!!
Well I bought a sunroof frame a couple months ago for one of my envoys and they charged me 69 bucks I came back today and all of a sudden it was 69 bucks plus 45 bucks for the motor that is permanently mounted to the frame and doesn’t come off I have to say this is the 2nd time this clerk tried to get one over on me and she charges you for a warranty when they give you one with so many days to bring it back I would have to say she is doing some shady business. I’ll be taking the extra drive to go to pick n pull from now on
I had a fantastic experience at the U-Pull-It yard, thanks to Sam. From the moment I asked her a question, she impressed me with her knowledge and quick responses. She knew the inventory inside and out, making it so much easier to find exactly what I needed. On top of that, her energy and enthusiasm were contagious, making the whole process enjoyable. Spoke with a lady named Heather on the phone she was very helpful, and polite. A gentleman named Scooby was the tow truck driver. He was on time, friendly and impressive driving skills! Absolutely would do business with them in the future

The Chesapeake location is awesome. The staff, pricing, and selection are great when you have a small budget but a big family with vehicles. Found my new go to!
I frequent all the Foss recycling yards and this one is by far the best . Samantha does a great job managing it and all the employees are very friendly and make you feel welcome. It’s nice that they see you as a person and want to connect . Highly recommend coming by here for any used parts.
This place is fun. I don't know if this is a common take-away about a junkyard, but I just want to say that this a great place to learn about cars, risk free too, because they are junk! I wish they had more selection, but I understand why some cars are more present here than others. Lol. Found plenty of Jeep Libertys.

Over the past 48 hours , I have had to deal with multiple companies, none of them were as helpful as this business. They have been the most informative and helpful throughout the entire process. Their customer service skills were immaculate and Heather was absolutely amazing and a huge help. she was able to answer all of my questions, and compromise with me on scheduling the pick up. not to mention she is sweet as pie. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to tow a junk car.
Have been using this recycle yard for years. The yard is always clean & the staff is extremely polite & helpful. Heather has been helping me for years and knows this place very well. Bri is a newer edition and extremely cordial as well. Highly recommend checking this gem out.
Some parts are a good deal, other parts you’re better off buying a new one for just a few dollars more compared to buying at this place where they add in a 90-day warranty charge, the core charge, the recycling fee and the taxes.
The salesperson said that I could return a non-working part within 90 days and get a full refund. What she didn’t tell me was that I have to pay an additional charge which is a percentage of the part cost for the 90-day warranty. She acted like it was included in the price quote.
Their website has a “search inventory” feature that doesn’t actually work. When you try to call either of the only two phone numbers that I could find for their Chesapeake location, you get a prerecorded menu that tells you to visit their website to search their inventory.
Their phone numbers only result in pre-recorded messages; you can’t actually talk to anyone. If you want to leave a message, you can’t because their mailboxes are full and not accepting any more messages.
Military does not have to pay entry fee though so I guess there’s that.
I don't ever really go to a recycling center for car parts, I generally leave that to my husband, the one with the tools and knowledge, but when he was unable to go and I needed to instead, I was helped by this lovely lady named Heather. She was nice, helpful and did it all with a smile on her face. The price was good, so was the customer service. I recommend.
Always a great experience visiting this place. I’ve always been greeted with a lovely smile by a gorgeous young lady. All while she doesn’t mind helping out within her means. Everybody is very professional and prices are amazing. All around a great place to visit for some well needed parts!
