I think his name was Jason. He was very helpful to me. He answered the questions that I needed. You can tell the difference when an employee doesn’t truly care & they want to rush you out. He was quite the opposite. I would have no problem spending my money here. Thank you!

Bought the lights recommended to me by Advance, they did not fit my car and they refused to accept my return. The staff was no help whatsoever, so now I'm out 60 bucks and my headlights are still out.

A great place for your vehicular needs, whether it's items for maintenance, or items for repair or upgrading. Availability of items aren't usually an issue and prices are comparable to other similar stores. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.

Be careful of your wording when returning parts , they will sell you the wrong parts , then when you tell them you put them anywhere near the vehicle to realize they sold you the wrong part , they consider that an attempt to install it and won't return it, seems a bit suspect considering this happened to me twice, and the parts were never installed just a little dirty from my hands, not sure of other locations but this one will no longer get my business

Bought a battery for my car. It stated on the website and in store that advance installs car batteries. So I decided to purchase from this location. Upon picking up my order, the associate informs me that due to some sort of "liability " they can't install it on my particular vehicle. When I've had batteries installed on the same make. The battery wasn't in a funky place. They just didn't want to do the job. Horrible customer service and lazy employees.

Orchard Square,1608 Volvo Pkwy, Chesapeake, VA 23320 I went to this Store @ 345p on 25 May 23' to return an product that I bought at Store # 08633, 961 Providence Hwy, Norwood, MA 02062. I currently reside 5 mins from this store. I had bought an Headlight for my Honda Civic because it was not operational on the way to Massachusetts. After, tinkering with Headlight, I noticed that it was just loose and all I had to do was screw it back on. When I got back, I decided to go to Orchard Square to return the item from Massachusetts and get a refund. I explained to the employee the situation that i had gone through and he just wasn't trying to hear me at all. He said that since I had opened the box that I could not get my money back. This is poor customer service and I will not be going to this store anymore. I'll do my business with Auto Zone. Maybe they will provide better customer service.

A employee named Cameron & his co-worker were the only people in the store when I arrived needing assistance with the harness to the master switch on my driver's side door,they told me in a cold mocking way its against store policy to touch a customer's car. One could tell by their demeanors/faces I was an inconvenience to the two very young workers. So I went next door to Auto Zone where I spent my $250 and they were happy to install it for free

I visited the store this evening. The sales associate did not acknowledge that I present. He felt it was more important for him to take his personal call on his cell phone. He ended up waking away from the front desk area to finish up his call leaving the front area unattended. Very poor customer service. In the past they had very nice and very helpful associates, but not sure who they are hiring for their positions now. Hope you have better luck than I did.

This is so far the best AAP store I’ve ever been to. Sean helped me immediately after I walked in and looked up my battery. There were multiple part numbers available so to make sure I was getting the right one, he came out to my vehicle to measure my old one. He was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and made the buying and core return process very easy and streamlined. If I’m in this part of town again, I’ll definitely use this store if I need anything auto related. Very highly recommend this location.

The store is located on 1608 Volvo parkway in orchard shopping center & on the intersection of Volvo parkway and kempsvile road. I bought wiper blades, auto headlights bulb very nice variety. Great options for auto replacement parts. Bought battery from here last beyond warranty, auto cleaning, washer fluid and antifreeze also bought. When they got sale on certain items the deals are good. You can order online free pick up in store . Free battery testing & installation, free alternator and starter testing, free wiper blades installation I normally go there, nice customer service. They have tank inside store for used oil. Nice parking lot.

I needed help with car parts that only the dealership carried and both Jason (the manager) and Cameron who should be employee of the year truly showed me what customer service is at it’s finest. I can’t say enough about Jason taking the time to assist me, above and beyond the call of duty. I recommend the Advance Auto on Kempsville Road and Volvo Parkway highly. I’ve always chosen this location and it’s never let me down. The new faces are 100% on their game and ready to work on the customer’s behalf.

Today I went to buy a battery for my Ford Mustang and was helped by Cameron and Adam. They provided the best customer service I have received at any auto parts store I ever been to. I had trouble getting my battery off, Adam was assisting me. However, as he was I was watching the customer service Cameron was providing also and it was excellent. As I was getting my battery installed I was able to talk to a few customers and they also were admiring the great customer service. Therefore I am quite sure Adam and Cameron will be getting more great reviews. I want to thank you again to Adam and Cameron, I have found a new auto store to shop at…..Welton

Checked and made sure my alternator was in good condition, ended up getting a new battery with a nice 3year warranty. Staff were nice and very helpful, especially in explaining what The light for OD meant and how to use it. The employees weren't rushed or pushy. Battery was priced nice and I'm glad it's next too the college of choice.

Best experience I had in a auto part store. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. When I arrived my vehicle was disabled. They advised and sold me the right part and I was able to drive home. I appreciate all the help.

TL;DR: This location does not observe COVID-19 safety protocols. They had what I needed at a good price, but the two employees who were there the evening I went in early January 2021 were not practicing social distancing with each other or with me which made me highly uncomfortable. Additionally, neither one wore a mask and the store didn't have plexiglass barriers at the service counter. I also do not recall seeing any prominent signage at the entrance requiring mask use as virtually all other local businesses are displaying. I would otherwise give a good review but the lack of safety protocols for customers and employees compels me to tell people to consider shopping elsewhere for safety reasons. I've reported this negligence to Advance Auto Parts directly via a customer survey and to the Virginia Department of Health.

By far my favorite Advance Auto in the area. They staff is always helpful and spends the extra time to make sure what you're getting is compatible. It's a double edged sword though, when all of the employees are working with someone it can take a little while to get to you but it's worth the wait. There are closer stores to where I live but I'll drive the extra couple miles here for the service.

I don't write a whole bunch of reviews but this place definitely deserves a shout out. I have never had such phenomenal customer service before. I had 3 employees helping me. One of the employees was outside on a smoke break and even said hi to me when I walked in the door. He was on a break and acknowledge me which I really was impressed by. I wish I had caught their names. It was march 5th around 11 a.m. so whoever was working then is great at their job. I bought a part that was too small and walked back in the store and they happily exchanged it for me. I had bought it online originally and picked it up there because there was 20% off online. When I exchanged it, they told me to buy it online again so I could get the same discount but the website was not working and they saw that and still honored the discount. I will definitely be going back to this store over any auto part store and this location over any other for the customer service alone. They are doing great and treat their customers right.

Buddy helped me a month ago when my aunt passed away. Buddy was awesome regarding customer service, knowledge of product, and he was a nice person. Store 2107 and Buddy are the best. Keep up the good work Melissa Beaber. Give Buddy a raise.

The store was busy but they still took the time to make sure they helped everyone efficiently. Not sure about prices compared to competitors but overall been happy with this location and I have used it on multiple occasions. Also took the time to review part options I had while doing a 4 wheel brake job on my truck. Overall great experience I plan to keep going back.

Went in at 8:30 in the morning and sat at the register for 10 minutes....no one infront of me, the guy that worked there just glanced over and ignored me. I have been a loyal customer for years but not anymore. I have never been treated so bad anywhere. Glad to see this company thrives on good customer service....never will go here again.

Always a friendly staff member to greet you, even as busy as they sometimes get. Really depends on the time of the day or day of the week at how short or long you may be there, but they do seem to get you in and out a bit faster then most other area locations do, Advance Auto of course I'm comparing them to not the competition. Most of the staff is knowledgeable about what you need, but I would look it up ahead of time to be sure your getting the right part depending on the options you have on your vehicle can change your part number or version of the said part, and I've had them look it up once in the store and sure enough them try to give you the wrong part so save yourself the time and headache and still do your homework even though it's a decent store

Patrick was over the top amazing even with how busy and short-handed they were. His customer service was top notch along with the other guy working with him. It was like having one of my mechanic friends do it all.
