I have been coming here since I was 15 and first started wrenching on my XJ. Now I am still coming here, replacing turbo, chargers, and fixing brake systems on sprinter vans. There is a reason that with the online generation advanced is still around. People are always helpful and always go the extra mile in the store to get you where you need to go. Even if you've never done the project before they are always there to help you get the right parts and save you from making the big mistakes that dig you in a deeper hole. In particular, Evan and Taryn have been incredibly helpful the last couple days. There's a reason I've been in advanced customer for years now and will continue to be for years to come.

This morning starting the car to leave to drop off for school and go to work. Battery was graveyard dead. Went to Gridge Bridge Chesapeake Va walked in and had Evan to the rescue. Asked for a battery and instead of selling it to me he went ans tested everything on my vehicle and confirmed that was not the issue and saved me a fee hundred bucks. Thank you for being real.

Came in yesterday around noon to pick up two filters. The young lady working the counter was very helpful, pleasant and polite and helped me get exactly what I needed!

Great customer service, going above and beyond to help! I was replacing the aux and main battery in a 2021 Grand Cherokee with start/stop. The Jeep battery compartment label in the battery compartment said the main is an AGM H7 (see image). Both in stock, turned in the aux core, went to install, and the H7 doesn’t fit even though that is what Jeep says. Visit #2 and Lloyd was great on swapping the H7 out to H6 and I got it installed. Went to put in the new aux battery and the new one needed the posts from the old one (already turned in the core). Returned a third time with the new aux in case it was the wrong type and the manager, didn’t get his name, helped me as Lloyd was with another customer. The core was still there and he removed the posts, put them in the new one, and made my life easier! Went home, installed it, and works great!

Taryn and Mark changed my windshield wipers in the snow. It was coming down really hard but they did it anyway. The Auto Zone down the street that had three big guys working wouldn’t do it in inclement weather. Thanks y’all.

The sales associate with the bad attitude was not able to replace my wiper blades and refused to ask for help from another associate. I needed assistance with the installation of the blades but she just got mad because she couldn't figure it out. Very poor customer service. She was angry the entire time I was there. She even threw my old blades on the ground in anger. I will never go there again .

I just recently went there to ask them to check. My battery told them my situation three of the workers were sitting outside, Laughing and smoking cigarettes, and just automatically said it was my alternator and kept on having a good old laugh with each other, the worst and most unprofessional place ever. One star is not enough they need 10 negative stars!

I always appreciate shopping here. The staff is helpful and there is something fun about auto parts stores... I'm only a periodic shopper of auto parts, but when I do I do at Advance. I learned that if you buy wiper blades, they will install them for you at no charge. I know this is a stupid simple operation, but it is a nice touch.

Dave the manager is GREAT! He is very knowledgeable about vehicles. I've showed Dave photos and videos of my old F-150 and he has always identified the part needed to correct the problem. I've been to this store a dozen times over the past month to get parts. Dave and his team have been extremely helpful each time I go in there. I even had one tool break on me, and Dave replaced it with Zero Issues. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Also wanted to recognize Max he helped me out a few times finding the correct parts and tools. GREAT STORE!

They never have enough staff. Lines are ridiculous. They removed the computer for wiper blades, so you now have to stand in line to find out your size. Then go and pick them out. Just to stand in line again to purchase. They loving provide veterans parking only space, but no handicapped space. The parking lot has tons of potholes the size of baby pools. And the staff... let's just say, NOT nice!

Great crew who are willing to do their best to answer your questions. I always leave feeling like I've learned something that makes my maintenance or repair projects go better. Also helpful in tool rentals that helped me out but don't cost me a fortune. I feel lucky to have these folks close by.

Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff every time I visit this store. Most recently, my truck indicated a low voltage battery code on my OBD reader. Taryn did a free battery/alternator check and subsequently replaced the battery right in front of the store. Another great experience at the Advance Auto Parts store on Battlefield Blvd!

Demetrius (I think that was his name!) was awesome and fixed our back windshield wiper piece that was broken on my '17 Ford Escape and even installed our new one for us tonight. He was very kind and patient with us and got the piece off that we were struggling with for 2+ hours. Thank you Demetrius, you saved us a trip to a dealership/mechanic AND having to buy a tool! Awesome customer service my dad and I couldn't be happier =)

Went in, with my dad, had to replace a battery in my car and get a few other things... Autozone was a nightmare, no one really seemed to know anything. Went to this Advance, spoke with Corey who was super friendly! Seemed really knowledgeable and volunteered to replace our battery! Would highly recommend again!

Great experience getting my battery and alternator checked. Chuck replaced my battery, he was great. Actually all guys working there were very knowledgeable and helpful. Hope I dont have to go there again, but if my stuff breaks , would definitely return to them

I find the staff attentive ,knowledgeable and friendly I think the website and discounts are spot on. Well done I.T person,I disagree with comments others have shared. You have two sales people and customers tying up the lines with mundane questions about other products they have no intention of purchasing,well after they made their initial purchase. Well done fellas. I'd lose it, however these fellas maintain their composure and friendly demeanor in spite of it all. I find these qualities commendable

Two people working the front of the store. Several customers were waiting in line while these two front store reps were busy changing batteries for other customers. At least three employees were in the back doing something else. When I got to the front and was able to speak with a rep, he couldn’t find what I was asking for (not sure he even typed anything in the computer). He told me to find it on my phone and then show it to him. This put me to the back of the line again. Bottom line is I left without anything after 25+ minutes standing in line in the store. Who is the manager and why is he/she running the store this way?

Our family was headed back to Winchester from the OBX mid July and the truck I was driving the brake fluid line broke. My daughter and son in law were in another vehicle and followed me to the closest Advance Auto which was this location. Everyone in there were very helpful and assisted my son in law out with the part that had to be fabricated to fit. It was a very hot day and my daughter was outside tending to the 1 yr old twin boys who were getting hungry. The staff told my daughter she could use the hot water from the sink to warm the bottles up and let us use the restrooms as well. The staff were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of what we needed and were very patient with us. I am sorry it took this long to thank all of you for your help and kindness that day.
