I needed a state inspection and an oil change for my RV. Unfortunately my regular go to shop (RV dealer) closed and my backup activity couldn’t accommodate due to an injury of the inspector. Where to start. When in needing some airline and fitting for my truck. Ashley was quick to say hello and to help me out. She went to grab the parts asap. Even gave me the same part with different size thread just incase. Thanks alot to Ashley super friendly and a big help. Had gone back to store to return some parts and ask about some more stuff. This time was greeted by David as soon as he saw me. Was quick to help me with my return and trying to help me solve another problem. David I as very polite and respectful as well. Thanks again Excel for the help. I recommend them for parts and help. All the store staff is friendly and willing to help. Asome store ya'll deserve the 5 stars.
Travis Pierce and his Roadside Assistance help got us going from a sheared hub on a fifth wheel camper within hours when I though days were gonna be required. He really went above and beyond. Can't recommend Excel enough.

Owner Operators Beware!!!
Had a low nox effenciency code on my truck and it triggered the mil light. Told them the situation and how the truck began to derate. Instead of doing the SCR Test first, they connected the diagnostics tool and did everything else... Changed water pump, venure pipe, fan clutch; sensors etc... kept my truck a week.
Finally I get the truck back next week and the light pops right back on. I let them know what happened, They hook up diagnostics again to then tell me the code is "low nox conversion"!?!. I said that first!!
Almost $4,000 later, Now they want to do an SCR Test!! They told me it needed an SCR test, but they didnt do this test correctly to tell me about any faults. They just let my truck regen for 6hrs, no info on nox sensors, def pump, doser valve, just lies...and said truck has to stay over night. Pretty much allow the regen process to get the numbers up, still charged me 479 for that as well.Get there Jerry looked me in my face and told me they got the numbers back up, no info on anything bad,nox sensors, def pump etc. I knew they got me again when I saw the paperwork. Stated they cleaned the def and doser valve and I see I was charged for 2 doser valve screws and the gasket. I purchased the doser valve screws some 2 weeks prior to do it myself but didnt replace it yet.
I walk to my truck and still see the (same old screws)on the doser valve, I leave again and the light comes back on. I call and Brit tells me the one box could be failing. Thanks man, I wish you guys said that sooner. These people have no integrity, im working on youtube video about how dirty these businesses are!!
I’d like to thank Technician Travis Peirce for getting me back up and running. His knowledge was thorough and diagnosed the issue as faulty connections. He immediately went to work disconnecting various connections in the engine bay, after plugging in the computer and he showed me briefly how there was a substance and some paint where it shouldn’t have been from the assembly line.
He gave me some tips for future reference, offered his business card and told me briefly about the Excel Truck Group network. Special thanks to Brett in Service as well, he’s professional and appreciated. Thank you both and I hope Travis is working if I ever have an issue in your area again!!

Took my RV in for service work (34K service) plus generator service. They completed the service in two days. No long waits to get it back! Kelsey wrote up the service order and took great care in getting my unit back in a timely manner!
I had to get a my R/R line from AC compressor to condenser replaced. Same day service, everyone I encountered was super polite. Plus I was able to get this done in one day!

They charged me twice for diagnosing my semi-truck but failed to identify the real issue.
On the first day, they charged me nearly $500 for a diagnosis but admitted they didn’t have enough time to properly diagnose the problem.
On the second day, they charged me almost $800 and recommended I purchase parts costing close to $18,000. I refused and instead went to a local mechanic, who charged me $600 to fix the problem. My truck is now running perfectly. They are rip-offs.
Can't say enough good things about the service and attention to detail that I receive from Tim Ainsley and all of the Parts team at the Chesapeake location! The knowledge and professionalism is top notch! I order ALOT of parts from Chesapeake and mostly everything is in stock and available for deliver same day! Great job guys and gals!!
Had minor work done on my truck here and after two weeks came in to pick it up and found that my phone mount had been broken and the suction cup to hold my GPS in the window was gone. Walked inside to inquire about it and was told by the lady behind the counter "My manager said we don't touch thay stuff" So thousands of dollars of work later and I'm having to figure out how I'm getting back on the road with no immediate way to mount my phone or GPS. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND AND WOULDN'T BRING MY TRUCK HERE AGAIN!
This place will try to charge you extra even after you get an itemized list of the job. My invoice was for $556.00 when I went to pick my truck up the cost had ballooned an extra $149.00 with no extra work done. After arguing my point it was fix. So if I didn’t say anything I was going to be over charged just because. I’m definitely contacting BBB this isn’t the first time this happened. That is why I was on point to put all the necessary steps in place because I knew excel would try this stunt
Aside from them always seeming to have what my husband is looking for or needs, I went in for the first time today (09/21/24)and for the ladies, I can say, the bathroom is very clean(trust me), smells good, and fully stocked. In the vending area they have an ice cream vending machine among the others! Nice clean place with knowledgeable, friendly employees
I’ve been working on truck trucks for 43 years. I meet Tim Ansley several years ago. Ever since I started dealing with him he has always done me right. He is very knowledgeable about trucks and always willing to help me out. Super nice and knowledgeable guy.

The customer service they give each and every time I'm in there should be recorded and used as a training seminar across this industry. So far, this is the best lounge area for a repair shop for me. Very clean and comfortable. We pop a coolant line, they able to fix it at the same day. Very good customer service, forget her name, though. Reasonable price.
I visit this location 2 to 3 times a week to pick up my parts in will call. All of the employees back there always go out of their way to help you. Even when I question an item, they never take offence to it. They just solve the issue for me. Skylar and Nicki are always friendly and very helpful, and if they see you standing there no matter how busy they are they will ask if you have been helped. I normally order my parts online with Paul Pickett. He always goes above and beyond to assist me. If the part, I need is out of stock he will see where he can get it.
They make my job easier, and they are all great examples of outstanding customer service. They do not treat me like a customer but a friend. Excel in Chesapeake in a better place because them.

I retired military, after my service I wanted to start trucking bussiness, did not know which way to go and where to get the loan, I met Belinda Pritchard, who walked me through the process and she was straight to the point filled application and a day later I was approved and ready to get my truck, after the sales I had issues with the truck and this is why i highly recomend her, she helped me set appointments truck got fixed and I was back on the road in timely manner.
