Work here as a rollback driver if you want to line the bosses pockets all day and rarely get thrown a bone.
You'll find out pretty quick why he has all new trucks and a big shop.
You'll move skid steers, connex boxes, and other specialty tows for 14 an hr while some guy with 8 kids in the other rollback WHO IS MARRIED to a dispatcher gets cherry picked high dollar commission calls. Pathetic, if you enriched the lives of the people that work for you and needed it the most you wouldn't be out a driver every 6 months.
Not helpful at ALL!!!! Spent 2 days trying to arrange a tow for a tractor we bought at an online auction (older lady told me to call back after 8 am the day I needed the tow - quote $650 hookup + mileage - had 1 driver that could get on any military base). Called this morning to get tow arranged.... younger female told me they couldn't do it because they don't have any drivers who can get on a military base (come to find out the address isn't on a military base, they are an off-base location) quote now is minimum $2250!!!!!!!!!! Explanation: the older lady was an after-hours call service who doesn't know what she is doing and laughed!!!! SMH I called before 5 pm so the laugh is on you because I took my business elsewhere and won't ever call or recommend your business.... In fact, I am posting my experience and rate you and your business 0 stars!!!!!!!!
Extremely Unprofessional
If I could leave a 0 star review on this place, I would. I had a horrible experience dealing with a vehicle that got stolen and this company towed it for the police. I was told I had to pay them to get it released, NEVER told me I had a few day grace period to get the car released for free. After hearing from someone else that I should not have to pay to get my car released, we contacted them and they tried to extort me for $500. I wasn't very happy with them and was gonna consider doing legal arrangements to get my car back. Then they realized that and told me I had 4 hours to get my car back for free. Had a tow man there ready to pick up my car, he told me this place was notorious for problems. I looked at my car, my trunk lock was broken and my battery is now completely dead. The police officer told me that when they found the car, the trunk wasn't broken and it was drivable...that this place broke my trunk lock and caused my battery to die. Probably because I refused to pay them for something that wasn't my fault. Mind you the state pays them for picking up stolen vehicles, NOT ME. I don't know what the issue is with this place treating me like I was the criminal and breaking my property. I'm VERY disappointed in Hudson Towing for leaving me with more issues to fix on a car that THEY did when it was clearly stolen and failed to tell me I could pick it up for free during the grace period.
I've always had great experiences with Hudson's. The mechanics are awesome, especially Bill, and I've never felt like we'd been taken for a ride as far as what needed to be done and pricing. I usually fix most things myself, but if I can't, I take it here!
I had a flat tire on my work vehicle and needed help urgently. Within an hour, I received assistance from Tim, who was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Instead of towing my truck, he was able to locate the nail, remove it, and patch my tire. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a towing company. Both times ice used the service, everyone is friendly and will be recieving more calls from me when im in need, for some background i am an amazon service and vehicles are used heavily,hudsons is prompt and on time. Thankful for people like this.
The only good thing I can say is that the tow truck arrived quickly. Otherwise, horrible experience. My tow truck driver was texting while driving. My car was in bad shape, and the car repair man said to call back saying what I was going to do with it. I called and said to please keep it there, and I'd pay the holding fee. I arranged to get the car sold, and within a day, they had taken my car apart, filled it with trash metal, and put a lean with the DMV claiming I abandoned the car. (It had not been 72 hours yet). I wouldn't recommend Hudson's to my worst enemy. At least if you use them, don't let your car out of your sight. Get it towed out of there ASAP, don't let them do repairs on it, they want to sell cars for scrap.
Very nice employee's has a family vibe. I jave taken my vehicle here every year for the past 10 years for a inspection. If my car has any problems they will call you and go over any problems your vehicle may have and tell you the cost before doing any repairs. I highly recommend them.
The woman on the phone was very uninterested in my questions. Quoted me "$275 at least because the drivers have to go through the checkpoints to get on base." Really??????
A huge THANK YOU to Hudson towing! My husband’s step-van broke down on a Friday evening and after calling several other tow companies who claimed to be able to tow a step-van, Hudson to the rescue!! They kept him updated with status, the driver was extremely friendly and helpful. Wish I could give them 10 stars.
Towed after accident but was not notified of charges at time of service. They should be up front on charges. Person towing should have pamphlet with info. $25/day for storage is complete ripoff especially during holiday when other places are closed. Should have atleast a set time to make arrangements before tacking on storage fees. Won't be back!!!
Motorcycle left outside under no cover. No security, no fence, no lights. Didn't see any cameras. Only other towed vehicle was a burned out fork lift. Small vehicle recovery must be a side business. Was overcharged at first, when the discrepancy was pointed out, refund was offered. When asked a day later how to receive refund, was informed it was to late to get it!! Strange way to operate.
They got me out of a tight jam! Not cheap, but you get what you pay for and when it comes to expensive equipment you want to pay for someone that shows up on time and knows how to do the job the right way. Very friendly dispatcher and wrecker driver was top notch. Great job team.

Had a great expirience with Hudson’s Towing picking up my boat and trailer. Very good communication throughout the process. They kept me informed every step of the way, driver showed up right on time and was super professional and courteous.
He loaded my boat on a roll back perfectly and got it to the dealer with no issues.

Even one start is too much for these people. My sons car was towed there after he was in an accident Friday afternoon. He has medicine and important papers he NEEDS in the car and they are absolutely refusing to let him get what he needs after they told him they would meet him there and having him wait 45 mins in the heat only to tell him they weren’t going to come. They seem to think accidents only happen Mon-Fri between the hours of 8:30 and 4:00. The most unreasonable, jerks I’ve ever had to deal with.
I work for a shipping company and we needed to recover a unit from a former driver. Not only did Barbra and Tim take extra time to help us track down the unit, but they also waited patiently while the disagreement between the driver and our company was resolved in order to secure out unit. The dedication and wonderful customer service the Friday night of a holiday weekend was something we won't forget! Thank you!
One of the worst companies we have ever had to deal with in our 35 years of business. We sent them photos, dimensions, and weight of a truck to be moved 5 miles, we agreed upon a quoted price. We showed up to have the truck moved and their driver was belligerent, rude, disrespectful, and complained that he did not know how big the truck was going to be and then refused to move it without us paying an additional hundred dollars. Miraculously, the extra money suddenly made their equipment capable of moving the truck. We would not recommend Hudson's to anyone for any reason, ever. We would have given them zero stars, but it wasn't an option.
Owner has terrible service and is racist. They stole my Northface jacket and tried to fight me when I was trying to survey the damage to my vehicle. Wish I was making a joke but overall a bad experience get towed by anyone else.
What a HUGE help! The bus for our preschool needed a jump start, and apparently with a 24 volt system it's not just a simple jump. But for Hudson's they were at my site in 20 minutes. Thank you so much.
