Worst experience ever! Ordered parts November 22, 2024. $334+. Guaranteed to fit they said. Wrong. Too big. Called 12/6/24 got return label. Printed and shipped back. Parts were received by them 12/9 and 12/10. Still waiting for refund. PayPal isn't any help either as they have given Seller until December 27th to return my money. Worst customer service. Keep sending me a reminder that I have a quote for the correct parts in my profile saved as a quote. Give you more money. Hahaha! Not gonna happen. Calling BBB and making a report too! Unacceptable. One rotor was opened and checked for size match. Where is my money???? SCAMMERS

The company has the worst service that you can receive. I order the parts I promise by the company to receive the part in Tuesday week after and I didn’t receive the part I will never walk with this company again.

After receiving the wrong shocks for my 2002 silverado. I called and spoke to one of their customer service reps. She attempted to find the right shocks but was not successful. I tried explaining to her that GM put a specific shock on some trucks that year that were actually used on the Z71 Tahoe among a couple others. She didn't want to listen and kept interrupting me, saying those won't fit. I said, "That's fine, but I'd like to order them anyway." She refused to let me place my order and told me I could order them somewhere else. Thank you for your suggestion, and I will not be ordering from carparts.com again.

My first time ordering from here was excellent I ordered a intake manifold for a car I’m selling parts went on like oem fit arrived a day later than expected but who cares the part fit and the car is back running excellent and the price was right I’ll definitely be ordering again when I need parts!!!!!!

I have ordered a part and promptly received notification that the part will be delivered on a certain date. On the assigned date, there was another notification that the part will be delivered 2 days later. On the new delivery date, another notification came that the part will be delivered another 3 days later. It is impossible to cancel. There is no phone or a human customer service available. The AI chatbot is very slow and makes no sense. I have purchased the same part from Amazon and got it delivered with a 1 day delay. A week later, I am increasing to 5 stars, because CarParts has refunded the charge, while allowing me to keep the part (which i do not need anymore, but still nice)

They sell parts individually and in sets. Obviously, this company doesn’t understand the difference. I could have ordered a right and a left. Instead I ordered a set. With most companies that means an automatic right and left, manufactured at the same time and boxed together. I was told that it would arrive on Saturday and I planned my installation window accordingly. CarParts later informed me that one part of the “set” would be shipped from VA and the other from TX, but both would arrive on Saturday. Logistically that doesn’t even make sense. This was done to “speed up the process”. How does a set get split?? You order a salt and pepper shaker set, why would you ever sell just the pepper shaker?? You simply tell the customer that you can buy a pepper shaker or a salt shaker. If you buy the set, it consist of both! We will not sell one item from the SET! Not this Company. By the way, I received one part on Monday, not Saturday. The other part was received on Tuesday, not Saturday! No apology, no concern, no excuses…the customer is the problem. FedEx totally controls their process. CarParts literally doesn’t know when FedEx has picked up the parts. If you have an installation window, DO NOT USE this company. You will be disappointed. Don’t worry about completing a Survey. CarParts doesn’t listen. They have a survey process as a checklist item. You will NEVER hear back from them. Save yourself some grief. There are plenty of companies that sell auto parts. Take this one off your list!

I really don't know how they stay in business. I ordered a part, they charged my credit card, the part still hasn't arrived. They say parts ship in 24 hours, but I was sent texts and emails my shipping was delayed. After 5 days I call to cancel order and Big Surprise, I was told the part shipped, but still no part. I wish I used Parts Geek instead. If you want a hassle and a headache, order from these incompetents.

I chatted with Mary Chris D over email. I messaged them May 25th I did not receive the full order. They said to wait. I messaged them again in October, they said I waited to long and will not refund or ship a new part that was never received. Do not trust this company.

We purchased brake calipers and pads through carparts.com, and everything was going great until we start the process of returning the original calipers for the core charge. We shipped them off, didn't hear anything for almost a month, so we started calling. Someone said the refund had been approved and we would see it in 24-48 hours. When we didn't get the refund they tried to walk back the previous approval, so we sent screenshots. Now they're telling us to wait an additional three days. If you're looking for a part with a core charge, look somewhere else.

Ordered a power steering pump as mine decided to say good bye... after they took my money they sent me an email stating it was out of stock... OK but the crap part is I need the part now and it can take up to 7 days to refund my money... screw this place

This has been the worst experience in online shopping I have had. The package included a packing slip from 2021, from the last guy who returned this part. The website did not disclose that programming is necessary, AND the instructions for programming included in the package were incorrect, as the Dorman tech line told me. And the part does not work. Complete mess.

Went through this company because the part i needed said it would be here Friday September 20th, yet when I called because part isn't even showing in transit according to shipper, so someone is lying to me. Don't trust the shipping date. Called today and now being told parts not even gonna get here till Monday the 23rd of September now. Then they want to offer you a refund of 10% like it makes up for their mess up. Don't trust the positive reviews likely written by someone who works here. I will never order from this company again, and honestly you're better off ordering from a company like cargeeks or a1auto, because atleast they are both true to their shipping dates and will both do whatever they can to make their customers happy. I will update once this is resolved.

I wish I could give this business minus five stars! I ordered a part and less than 12 hours later I wanted to cancel the order and the business was closed. Before the company opened so I could reach someone to cancel my order it had already been shipped so I was told it was to late to cancel it and I will have to pay for shipping it back! Between the shipping cost to receive it and paying to ship it back will cost me more than the part does!!! I will NEVER do business with Carparts.com again!!

GLS Don't buy anything from car parts.com. They use some weird scamming shipping service, nothing normal here. This weird company will deliver your item. Big item on the street, so many people can drive by and take your item. They don't use the United States parcel service. They don't use brown. They don't use FedEx. They use some weird. I needed a fuel pump by a certain date and it's not that their price was cheaper,it was the fact they said if I paid $19 for 2 day shipping then I would not only have my part but a day early at that. The item didn't even get shipped until the day that it was "supposed" to arrive. Why did I pay money for expedited shipping? It clearly wasn't expedited. I'm still waiting on it to be delivered so this review could get worse....

*STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! Ordered 2 parts, were to be delivered in 3 days. The delivery kept getting pushed back. I called and confirmed that the item had not even been shipped yet. I canceled the order, the next day I was billed for the item that was shipped 2 days later. I called and complained, only to be told they would reimburse the total after the item was returned and inspected for damage. The item arrived and was relabled and sent back on the same FedEx truck without being opened. Now I'm being told that they are still waiting for and item inspection before they decide if they will reimburse. I FEEL THAT I WILL NOT BE SEEING MY MONEY!

Ordered a power steering pump and paid to have it installed. When the mechanic went to fill the tank the tank had a hole in it. They wanted me to take the part off and send it back, which means I pay the mechanic to do it 3 times. All I wanted them to do is share some of the cost of the part and I would use the tank off the old one to make it work, but they refuse. I guess I lose out since the part is cheaper than the labor…..

Unhelpful and Uninterested. I ordered a part because it was suppose to be fast shipping. The part was suppose to arrive on Monday and wasn't even shipped out until Tuesday. This was after being told by customer service that it was shipped on Monday. After talking to a second customer service representative they finally admitted that it wasn't shipped until later due to "the warehouse that handles your order encountered a delay." When i tried to get an update on when i can expect to get the car part, they just pushed it off on to the second rate shipping service they used and said it was out of their hand and that they could help me no further. This company cuts corners. Shop at RockAuto instead. Don't waste your money here.

Worst Online Car Parts Experience! I ordered a brake kit that included rotors and pads for my front wheels. Unfortunately, my experience was a complete disaster. The rotors arrived damaged, with the box open and the rotors themselves scratched and gouged. It was clear that they were packaged carelessly, with no protection between the two rotors, causing them to bang around during shipping. To make matters worse, the brake pads were completely missing from the kit. I contacted customer support and provided ample evidence of the damage, but their response was incredibly unhelpful. After several days of waiting for a refund, I was told that I would need to return the damaged rotors before receiving a refund for the missing pads. This process could take up to 60 days! With my car broken down and unable to be driven, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Their poor packaging, damaged products, and unhelpful customer service have caused me immense inconvenience.

I been having so much problem with this company to get my refund. I bought a break kit, with drums and rotors all is bad quality warped, drums l send them back every thing they received on July 25th. l spoke with some representative they said take 48 hrs to show in my bank account nothing yet. When l will get my money back. So how long you guys going to warmer it up money. Almost 1 month.

Ordered a Fender, packaging was horrible. The package itself wasn't properly sealed and came completely apart before it got to my house, the package was DESTROYED. The part I ordered also came damaged. NO NOT recommend them.

Parts never arrive when they are estimated to. I have purchased multiple parts from this site and ever time the shipping gets delayed. I understand that things happen every so often but with over 10 orders from this site it is the rule not the exception. If you have a deadline you need a part by add at least 3-5 business days to whenever the estimated arrival time is and you will be accurate. Expedited shipping doesn’t help so don’t waste your money either.

If I could give them no stars I would. Put a hold on my account til part shipped then hold went to a charge accompanied by another charge of the same amount. Have messaged them three times and no satisfaction as they just say one is a hold and will drop off. Way for them to get twice the money for the part and give no reason why.

My brake light sensor was going bad. Needed a replacement fast as I knew it wouldn’t last long and I can’t start my car without it working. Decided to use this service rather than driving somewhere to buy one as it was relatively cheap and fasts delivery. However they gave me no disclaimer when I purchased that there is currently “a high volume of purchases” at this time. It’s been days without my car working and still no part. Took my contacting customer service multiple times to only get my shipping refunded. Horrible customer service. They don’t care about you or your problems.

Only good for certain parts and if you got time to wait…..ive ordered parts from here on 3 occasions ALL 3 times the part never came on time, so pay no attention to the delivery date, its gone come when they feel like shipping it pretty much. The prices is cool but u get what u pay for. After today i will NEVER order from them again, having to keep leaving my car in the shop waiting on a paid part to come that never comes on times is time wasting.

I recently needed a radiator for older model Toyota. I was not in a rush so many of the posts about time and delivery do not apply to me. I ordered all pieces were delivered in great condition. took a a few weeks for my neighbor to be available to help with the project. had all the components that we needed and fit perfectly. Car is back to running in tip top shape for an older model saving me so much money from doing this at a shop who 2 people told wasn't worth anything.

Complete and utter garbage internet company. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. Ordered brakes pads and performance rotors. Did not fit at all. Would not refund their paperweights after a certain a certain(90) days I think. Awesome paper weights though for a sturdy table. Customer service is just as bad.

So far my experience has been rough. I ordered 3 parts all set to deliver within 4 days. First part was "Out of stock" After I bought it. Then my order was delayed from Thursday to the following monday. Will update this review as we progress. Customer service was okay at best and not very helpful.

Scratched and bent parts. Update: thanks for the partial refund. However, to be clear, the workforce of labor workers nowadays is trash. QC should have caught this asap. Yet They wonder why they are on the bottom and make petty money.
