Took my car in to get some check engine code looked at. They were pretty busy so I was asked if I could leave my car. I only live around the corner but Kelsey got someone from the shop to take me home. They worked my car in that day and diagnosed the problem. Got a call the next day all fixed and ready to go. This is my third time going to this shop. They are always fast ,fair priced, and always super nice. I would recommend them every time.
We had an exceptional experience with Jimmy’s Automotive and Recovery in Bedford, VA. After getting a flat tire on Route 460 in unsafe conditions, Alex arrived quickly, coordinated with a state trooper for safety, and transported our vehicle with care. At the shop, Jimmy took extra time—despite having another call—to attempt a difficult repair on a severely damaged tire. He was thorough, honest, and professional throughout.
Alex went above and beyond to help us get safely back on the road ahead of an incoming snowstorm. His professionalism and customer-focused service is outstanding. We highly recommend Jimmy’s Automotive and Recovery.
Alex the owner and his office Manager Kelesy are really great to deal with! They are very professional and so great to deal with! I wanted to say thank you so much for fixing my vehicle. Good afternoon. I wanted to leave a grest review for the Alex the owner and Kelsey the office manager at Jimmy's Automotive.
I had problems with my vehicle. And Kelsey the office manager got me in and out within a day. And Alex took care of me and my vehicle! Alex and Jimmy's Automotive Garage is best shop within the Bedford City and Bedford County!!! They treat you like family and with so much professionalism!!!
They have best trainined techs in the business! And they have the best services and cheapest prices on getting your vehicle fixed and back on the road!
I would highly recommend Alex Kelsey and Jimmy's Automotive to anybody in Bedford City and Bedford County!!! I would give them 10 stars if l could!!!! I would recommend anybody to talk with them first before they go to any other garage in Bedford city are Bedford County!!!

The got me in and out and fixed my car last minute, they even fixed it a day earlier that what they had originally scheduled, people were nice and friendly, I'd recommend this shop for you auto repair needs.

First of all, when you call, a human voice answers the phone! I'm always able to get a timely appointment. My vehicles are repaired effectively, efficiently, and without unnecessary add-ons. The pricing is fair and the service is excellent!

The team at Jimmy's Automotive was amazing and took care of my son when he broke down on the side of the road. They went out of their way to care for him and put us at ease as parents living 11 hours away. They went over and above what we expected and were very reasonable with their costs. Jimmy's Automotive is wonderful. Staff are always friendly and hard-working. They always try to accommodate your requests for appointment time and are very efficient and thorough in their work. We take our cars here for all of our automotive needs; it's nice to have a place i can trust so close in Bedford.
I had a tire emergency and stopped in to see if they would possibly have time to look at it since they were busy. They were so kind and the technician checked it out and found a nail in my tire. He repaired it and I was on my way again. They are so helpful and professional too. I would highly recommend this shop and will definitely take my car there anytime.
This Business was so helpful in diagnosing what was going on with my vehicle. They had excellent customer service and a quick turn around after repair. I highly suggest them! Definitely my go to mechanic.
Alex is the go to guy. He helped me get tires and was able to fix my everything that was wrong with my car that another place couldn’t. It is a very professional place and friendly service.

I took my 1989 toyota camry to his shop because it was overheating. He quickly diagnosed a bad water pump and a bad radiator. I did the radiator with a friend ourselves and had him service the water pump and timing. His price was great being a small business and such. 450 was very reasonable.
There was a small hiccup after the job but he took it back and took care of it for no extra charge.
I got the car back and its running like a beaut. Im overall very pleased with the work and would most definitely reccommend Jimmie Simpson.
This guy is a Jerk and a ripoff!!!! He does not need to be in business!!!!! My vehicle was towed in after and accident, and he stole all my tools that was in it, and the stereo...
THINK BEFORE YOU CALL THIS GUY...JIMMY SHOWS UP AT WHERE MY TRUCK IS BROKE DOWN AND MY WIFE IS FRANTIC, SHE IS HEARING IMPAIRED AND I MYSELF HAVE BEEN A SERVICE PERSON FOR MOST OF MY 48 YEARS, ANYWAY THIS GUY STARTS TO PULL THE TRUCK ONTO THE LOWBOY FOR TOWING AND BECAUSE MY WIFE CANNOT HEAR WHAT HE SAYS HE GOES OFF ON HER, THEN ME, CUSSING US BOTH AND ACTING FORGIVINGLY UNPROFESSIONAL. HE GETS EVEN WORSE WHEN I TELL HIM SHE IS HEARING IMPAIRED...FINALLY I TELL HIM TO LOWER THE TRUCK AND FORGET IT...I WOULD RATHER PAY THE $ 450.00 COST TO FIX THAN PAY HIM A PENNY TO TOW IT WITH AN ATTITUDE LIKE THAT. HOW CAN YOU TREAT OR TALK TO A PAYING CUSTOMER THIS WAY AND EXPECT BUSINESS? I SHOULD HAVE CALLED OVERSTREET'S GARAGE INSTEAD OF THIS OBNOXIOUS, RUDE INDIVIDUAL.
