Had my first experience with United today, and it was great. The response was quick, and Luis was professional. And he is very nice, too. Highly recommended.
We got our car towed by Luis, and everything was fine except Luis made up a story and changed the price that we agreed on. We called him at 11:50 AM today and told him that we needed our car to be towed 20 miles away from Alexandria. He gave us a specific price quote of $180, and we told him we would call back later in the day. After we called back and he picked up our car, we asked him to confirm the price he told us in the morning, but he denied that he gave us that price. He then proceeded to say that he told us it would be $220, and that he saw we had been calling around because he received calls from us for both his towing companies (even though we only called the Alexandria number for United Towing and we didn’t call anyone else because he offered an affordable price). The only reason we had to wait to call him back was because our car was delayed at the dealership for a few hours. He also said that we told him another company had offered us the cheaper option of $180 when we never told him that because he was the one who offered it to us in the morning. We really do not understand where he got this story from, considering that this did not happen (we are staring at our call logs right now). We eventually reached a middle ground of $200, but our entire problem with this was not with the price but with the dishonesty.
We appreciate the affordable price that United Towing offers, and we appreciate that Luis was very attentive with the car. We just wish that Luis hadn’t acted like we were the ones lying and that our agreement from earlier in the day had been honored.
We saw all the reviews about Luis and they were spot on. He came to the rescue super quickly and was so polite and helpful. He went above and beyond and even told me some tips I could use to help my battery. Also, the price was a lot cheaper than expected.
United Towing was great!! This was my first experience using their services and definitely won't be the last if I have a car breakdown again. My car wasn't starting and I needed to get a tow. Luis was very helpful and was able to get my car to the mechanic.
My car was positioned in a difficult location (up a steep driveway). He even looked under the hood to see why my car wasn't starting and was able to identify one of my issues.We had to push the car due to its positioning and Luis was a good sport and a huge help.
Prices were very fair and much more affordable than the first place I called. They were a bit later than the ETA provided but it was not too bad.

They are very professional. They know what they do. I had issue with my car in the middle of no where and needed their help, they were there for me to tow my vehicle almost immediately. The driver was Luis, and he was incredibly friendly, polite and professional. He even gave me ride home in Virginia after dropping off my vehicle in Washington DC. I would recommend their service at any time.
Has a great experience working with them; they were at my car within half an hour, and the gentleman who came to pick it up was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. My car had broken down in a rather awkward spot in a parking lot, and he went the extra mile maneuvering the truck to load it. Additional props considering my car also has a relatively low front bumper, and he was extremely careful loading and unloading it. While I did hit their minimum rate given how short of a tow it was, they were still a fraction of the cost one of the other towing services in the area quoted me at.
All things considered, I truly could not recommend them enough. They truly eased what was already a stressful situation, and if this happened again I wouldn't hesitate to call on them.
