Judd's has been absolutely great - fantastic group who have been very reasonable. They also utilize text notifications for updates on your vehicle. Would highly recommend them!
Tried to rip off my girlfriend. Quoted her 4k. When she said her dad was a mechanic they dropped it to 2k instantly and tried to hide from her when she picked up the car. The next mechanic did the work for $320.
After asking around for garage recommendations, I was overwhelmingly directed to Judd’s. I called them on a Thursday and they fit me in after lunch on the following Monday. I live in Windsor so I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to drop my car off and utilize the MicroMoo to get home! (Another huge bonus, especially since you can schedule a MicroMoo ride ahead of time.) I already knew the prognosis was not going to be good for my 12 year old vehicle…..
The call I received from Judds was so reassuring— he used the verbiage “let’s triage what is most important so we can prioritize and not have a huge bill that scares you off.” He said “we’re all in the same boat- just trying to get to work and make a living. I try to make this as easy as possible and we do not and will not take advantage of our customers.” He was genuine in his words, patient with his explanations, and understood my personal situation, needs, and what I wanted to accomplish. He told me everything that needed to be repaired, from most urgent to what I may need within the next few years. The estimate came in at just a bit more than 2/3 of what I expected- so I was happy to hear that! He will also share the savings on credit card processing fees if you pay without plastic (like check or cash— that was nearly $100 in savings for me for these repairs!!) Judds had my car ready on Friday, a great turnaround time considering the repairs I had done!
When I called and he went over the list of items that they took care of for me- the price just kept going down? “We won’t charge you for (insert routine service) , because that’s double dipping (due to the type of repair I needed) and we don’t do that here” What? A garage NOT taking advantage of a vulnerable customer (as in I would have had no choice if they did charge me, I needed the repair!) I also forgot that I had a burnt out blinker bulb when I asked for an inspection— which they replaced instead of just failing the inspection!! It was an elite experience as far as garage interactions go!
About a week and a half later the unthinkable happened… an issue with my car that required it to be towed!! It was completely unrelated to the first repairs, but I had my car towed to Judd’s and left a message about what happened. He called me before 9am the next day. Bad news… another repair that was several hundred dollars. This was not their fault though, and Chris expressed his condolences for having to do another expensive repair so shortly after doing the last ones. The old girl is over 12 years old, and I don’t drive very far/very often. The trade off of not having a car payment I suppose! They got the (manufacturer direct) part the next day and I was good to go within no time! I’ve been good since then.
Overall I was more than happy with Judd’s - it was exactly the kind of place I felt comfortable as a female customer (ladies take note!!) I also felt confident that they truly were trying to provide me with quality repairs at the best price possible without creating future issues for me. If you don’t have a mechanically inclined person in your life, or you’re sick of dealership prices or crappy garage antics—
I’m telling you, go to Judd’s!! It literally reminds me of what it’s like taking your car to your Dad to look at— honest, fair, and respectful service all around!!
Chris does a great job. Very helpful and informative. Try’s hard to get you an expedient appointment. Always been happy with the work done on my car and truck. Trustworthy.

Wife’s van broke down and Judd’s was 3 weeks out and was nice enough to take us on seeing as we had a newborn baby and it was a big hit for us to be down a vehicle. Chris was very nice and considerate and got us our vehicle back and running before Thanksgiving. I would recommend Judd’s and we will definitely use them if we ever in need of further repairs.

Service is excellent. They are good at making recommendations for future budgeting. I like paying online before I pick up my car in case someone else has to get it. Drop off service is available after hours.
We were headed to Montreal from western Massachusetts on the highway when all of a sudden our car sounded like air was being blown into it from a jet engine. It was extremely loud and concerning. Long story short, we got off the highway, found their contact number and they got us in immediately. Turns out it was an easy fix with a plastic shroud that had come loose and hanging underneath our car. They didn’t even want to charge us for it. They were awesome. I give them the highest review possible, they took care of us during what was a very unexpected, stressful situation. I’d like to take a moment again here to say thanks to them. Thanks Peter and company- you are the best.
Had an issue w a stuck caliper that made me pull off the interstate in Windsor. When I looked up mechanics I saw they were right by so I called them and they said come on over. They were able to look at it and get it unstuck and back on my way to work. These guys are great and I highly recommend.
I've used Judd's for many years for regular maintenance on my vehicle, but my most recent experience with them leaves me especially satisfied. I recently took my vehicle to a local dealership for a minor repair. When there the dealership said I needed another, unrelated, larger and more expensive repair. I took my vehicle to Judd's for a second opinion and they confirmed that there was actually nothing wrong with my car and the repair the dealership recommended was not needed. I love Judd's. They always had my business but now they also have my trust.
A friend recommended Judd’s for anything needed for our newly acquired Honda. After a 2000 mile track across the country we took it to Chris’s business for an oil change. Our friend couldn’t of been more right that Chris knows his stuff and is honest! Rare these days~ we’re old school and absolutely love to find good people doing good things for others. Honest shop. We were convinced we wrecked our brakes going down a mountain and fully anticipated having to replace the rotors and pads. They cleaned up the brakes and sent us along after assuring us there was no glazing or damage. Easily could have deceived us but they did not.
They were great! They fit us in last minute when we thought we needed a brake repair. It turned out that our brakes just needed servicing, not replacing. The mechanic let us know what was going on and didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t actually need. I highly recommend this shop!

Chris is a very honest mechanic and kind man. He recommended not repairing my car because it would cost more than the car is worth. And, Insisted he bring it to bring it to my house because I couldn’t pick it up before the weekend. This, on a Friday afternoon before a storm. Amazing. Highly recommend!
Chris is the best priced around! And he definitely keeps to his pricing as best he can (my had other issues that prevented it from being the exact quoted price, but he definitely did an amazing job keeping me happy!)... Exceptionally friendly and his mechanics are very nice too! Would definitely recommend to anyone needing work done on their car!
Meunier's is a very good place to buy a used vehicle. I trust them and they are willing to try to find a car for you that you want. They also keep in mind your budget. The auto repairs they do are very good as well. Fast service.
