April 3 630am boondock motors illegally entered my not involved posted private property on a wild goose chase that was apparently a AAA call. The actual vehicle needing assistance was a mile and a half south on a state highway but the classless driver just bombs in at 630 am passing multiple posted signs I contacted the owner who was just a self righteous entitled idiot who told me I need a gate Newsflash boondocks motors it’s illegal to trespass on posted private property. Phone number on sign aside road and on trucks parked near road A professional would’ve confirmed with a quick call. But you couldn’t be bothered acting professional. AAA told me they fired you over this call Wishing you class and professionalism

Boondock Motors went WAY ABOVE to help me out and get my car functional again. My car was stuck 2 hours away from home with a very weird problem. Travis had his crew make 2 trips to help and ultimately buy specialty parts to get my car going, doing the repairs in the dark by headlights. I had first called several other towing companies and no one would even try helping given what was wrong. I greatly appreciate the help from Boondock! I saw a few low reviews because of the wait time. To those folks I would share, please know that when the responders show up to a disabled vehicle, they have no idea how long it will take to fix or tow. Because they are dedicated to not stranding someone, the next in queue may have to wait a bit. Please be patient, I'm sure you would be appreciative as the receiver of this dedication when they are helping you.

We were stranded with two flat tires in the parking lot at Rutland Regional Medical Center. I had my husband, just out of major surgery, all of his "stuff," and our dog in the car. A roadside service call didn't solve the problems, so I acted on the recommendation of someone at the hospital and called Boondock. They arrived only a few minutes after the friends who picked us up, picked up the keys at the Center desk, and towed the car up to our mechanic in Middlebury, a distance of about 40 miles! They have been nothing but courteous and professional - cheerful, even. I highly recommend them.

My vehicle was towed by this company around 12am from work after several other companies cancelled or failed to show up. The driver was so polite and professional eventhough he came from Brandon to Vergennes which is an extremely long drive for him. He assured me that my vehicle would be safe. The tow truck left my car at the dealership overnight which was very helpful. This was the best towing experience. I would recommend him.

We had a classic car towed out of the yard. The mechanic is 45 minutes away. Car left the yard ar 5:15. It's currently 9:00 pm and no sign of the car. When my daughter called the business she was told the tow truck got stuck on a road in a near by town. They would call her back. I had to call to ask for an update. The owner was incredibly argumentative and rude. He acted to me as though he had been drinking. He claimed he had to bring another truck up to pullbthe tow truck out. He'd call and give us an update. Haven't heard a thing.

My insurance company called this business to tow my car. I was initially given a 1 hour ETA. After an hour and a half I called this business directly and they said somebody should be there momentarily. By the second hour of no arrival, I called my insurance company back and they called this business and they said that they were going to be there any minute. By 2 hours and 40 minutes,. I received a phone call from the driver stating he just received the call out and he was gassing up and would be there within 20 minutes. Total time to arrive was 3 hours which was absolutely absurd and ridiculous. Today I picked up my car with the disastrous mess of Grease and mud all over the driver side and on the door and in the cloth material. I just spent $50 this week to have my interior cleaned. I sent pictures to the owner as he requested them and said he was going to investigate and would get back in touch with me. He failed to even apologize or get back to me. I absolutely do not recommend in this Business.

We contacted Boondock Motors for assistance with a truck that went off the road. The call was made at approximately 10:30 am and we were told the truck would be out within 2 hours. After numerous phone calls and excuses, the truck finally arrived at 6:30 pm, nearly 8 hours after the initial call. The person operating the tow truck clearly had little if any training and took over 2 hours to pull the truck back onto the roadway. In the process he nearly rolled the truck due to the way he first hooked the truck. Fortunately the driver of our truck was able to stop him before this occurred. Due to the nearly 10 hours that this process took, we incurred significant additional costs that would have been avoided had services been provided in a timely manner. I contacted Travis, the owner of Boondock Motors, to request a partial refund of the $800 fee that was charged, but he has failed to return my calls. **Response to Business which finally replied on 3/8/23-- 2 months after this incident** Boondock Motors- between calls and emails I provided my phone number at least 6 times. You're welcome to call me if you'd finally like to address this issue.

We had to use them through AAA for a tow that just never came. Unfortunately we broke down and needed a tow to CT. We were initially told the tow truck would come in the afternoon and we called again to verify before having a ride bring us back. After calling 6 times yesterday into last night into this morning to check on the status of the tow we were told each time “the driver is on its way we will call you back in 15 min”. We never received a call either time and basically had to just call through AAA to explain the ridiculousness of what’s happening. At this point we just wanted to know if they are in fact not getting it so we can make other plans. They have now just called AAA and decided they no longer want to tow, which would have been great to know in the first place. Insane amount of unprofessionalism don’t bother wasting your time.

I would not recommend Boondock Motors. We needed a tow in early September and while the driver was excellent and very helpful, my issue is with the business - I’ve been trying to get a receipt for the $325 tow since 9/28. Initially, the owner was responsive and agreed to provide one, but multiple messages later…crickets. To this day, no receipt. If possible, avoid this place.

Everyone at Boondocks is a bunch of crooked thieves definitely don't want your truck towed told by these guys they still everything of value including your tow hitch. I know it's good practice to remove the tow hitch when unloading and loading on a flatbed so it doesn't scrape the ground but when I asked where it was they said there was never one on there I know for a fact there was it cost me almost $300

Bad experience, had multiple things stolen from my vehicle after it was towed to their property. The owner reached out to me only after I posted on the fb page. Asked me to take the post down about my bad experience because he would make things right with me. He didn’t and he ignored my calls and texts. So here I am on google leaving a review. You don’t want this company towing your vehicle. There have been many other people who have experienced the same thing I have. Apparently it’s pretty common practice at this business to have your belongings stolen.

I was on a trip in VT on my motorcycle and it broke down. I called AAA and Boondock Towing came. The driver Pat, was very nice and took the time to really make sure my bike was secure, he treated it like it was his and I appreciate that. The 3 hour ride home and an unfortunate breakdown ended as positively as it could. Thank You Pat.

We dealt with Andrew. My wife spoke to him initially to get a quote for moving our fifth wheel camper. I called and spoke with him to actually have it moved. The quote was exactly what we got charged and we both thought that it was very reasonable. Andrew delivered the camper less than three hours after I called on a Saturday. He was very helpful and did all the work of setting it up for us. I highly recommend them!!

We live out of state and my son's truck was towed there after hitting black ice. The staff were very professional, honest, and the work was done quickly and at a reasonable rate. Being from out of state, I initially had fears of being taken advantage of and waiting a long time for the repairs. This was not the case, they are fair and honest and got my sons vehicle back on the road quickly at a fair price in my opinion. We will definitely be using Boondock for any repairs as long as my son is in school in Castleton.

Big Mike and Zach took excellent care of my vehicle when we got into a real pickle. Big Mike in particular was wonderful at keeping the situation calm. They worked together quickly and professionally and were very pleasant. Can’t recommend Boondock enough They’ve been there for me multiple times in a pinch

My vintage RV died while at a campground. My roadside assistance had trouble finding some place to do the tow but luckily finally contacted Boondock Motors. Pat showed up timely and was completely friendly and helpful. He was incredibly careful loading and unloading the RV (she sits really low and these models are prone to tearing off the pipe to the black tank) and demonstrated as much care as if she were his. He even stopped at the dump station on the way out of the campground - which made everyone happier! I can't recommend Boondock Motors highly enough. Thank you Pat for making a difficult situation less difficult.

Good service. I was in my first accident, and Boondocks was simply the nearest service and tow. Worked out fantastic. Made my car roadworthy in just a few hours and repair price was the best I and my Dad had ever seen. Definitely recommended

I have had some car issues in the last year or so. Snow and other drivers have not been my friend. However, in every instance I have been saved by Boondock Motors. Whether near or far from home they have been prompt, professional and on time. The repairs they have done for damage to my car have been spot on, good quality work. I don't call anyone else for anything auto related. These are the go-to guys for service, rates and quality.

I work at Alderman's and I cant say enough about this company. My customers absolutely love their service and so do I. one of my clients couldn't rave more about a driver they have (Blake). Thank you Blake! He helped them with a low battery issue and was very professional and quick. Boondocks Motors has literally been there through all the old vehicles I've had in the past. I haven't used them since I've had my Corolla but they are still helping me, even with my clients!

My husband and I moved to Brandon 3 years ago and have made Boondock Motors our "go to" place for our vehicle repairs. They are very friendly and have treated us wonderfully. We have needed a few tows, one from Shelburne, and each time a truck was dispatched immediately. We can't say enough great things about Boondock Motors!

My daughters high mileage import had recurring problems that the dealer couldn’t solve Late on a snowy night her car left her stranded at her work far from home, and Boondock came from a fair distance away with a prompt tow back to their yard, and the next day located the problem and put in a few badly needed replacement parts, and had her ride back on the road The overall cost for high quality parts and labor was far less than the dealer would have charged, never mind that the dealer couldn’t manage to find the problem in the first place. The dealer has the glitzy surroundings but Boondock has the staff with the experience to get you up and running and not leave you broke. Besides, Boondock has a dog in the office, how can you not trust a garage like that! Thanks from two new customers!

I was in need of emergency towing at 8:00pm, and a tow truck arrived quickly to assist me. The driver was very nice, and even bought me a coffee(out of pure kindness) at the gas station my car was parked at! After my car had been ruled as totaled, I asked if they could take my lisence plates off and take my snow tires off and put some junk ones on, and they did it, no problem. Over all, I am extremely impressed with Boondock Motors. Everyone there is kind, easy to talk to, and very helpful!

I feel like I cannot say enough good things about our experience using their towing service! After a no show, no call back from another towing service, an Allstate agent connected me with Boondock Motors who were very prompt in contacting me. Even after an address mix up on Allstate's end, Dan kept in contact and once he arrived, got our car out of trouble very quickly. If I need to, I would definitely use Boondock Motors again!

We were driving from Pennsylvania to Vermont on a Friday night during a freak snow storm when our front tire bearings started to grind. We made it to our destination but needed to find someone to repair our car, which we couldn't drive further. I called all over on Saturday morning and couldn't find anyone to help, I finally called Travis who was a Super Star!! We called AAA and he came to tow our vehicle within an hour. He towed it to his garage and replaced the bearing box, rotors and calipers on both front tires. He even had his tow truck driver pick my husband up at our condo and drive him the 20+ miles to his garage to pick up the car. It's driving like a Gem now! We were worried about getting taken advantage of so we called our mechanic at home and his prices were right on the mark. I also failed to mention that the Saturday he got the work done was the first day of deer in VT! We highly recommend his services and thank him for saving us!! If I could give him 6 stars I would!!

Great honest service. Really helped me out of a jam. We were on our way home to Pennsylvania, still 6 1/2 hours to go, and our radiator leaked out and we were stranded on the side of the road. Luckily our call to AAA lead us to Boondock motors via their tow truck. On a Saturday afternoon they were the only shop open, they diagnosed the problem quickly and had a new radiator installed within a couple hours and had us back on the road and eventually safely to our house later that day. Despite the fact that we had no other options, Boondock motors gave us a good price and did quality work to boot.

Our vacation trip started with a flat tire. These guys showed up promptly and towed our motor home back to their shop to get new tires the next day. Travis was very courteous and explained to me why our old tires were in bad shape and why we needed new ones. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them for your towing and repair needs. Thanks for saving our vacation!

During my three years here in the magnificent Green Mountains I have had the most reliable​, professional and friendliest folks keeping my '85 Subaru running like new. They have responded whenever I've called and are so awesome it's like talking to family. Travis and guys there are the best. Towing is best in the USA. Courteous and accommodating and I highly recommend them. From a grateful neighbor and client.
