Went there to install new tires, charged around $35 per tire (including install, balance and some weights) Good price Only thing: $14 per tire to dispose your tires

Daughter blew a tire on interstate on the way back to college not far from Ladd’s but we knew it was going to be past closing before we could get to her from St Albans and put the spare on and get to them. They stayed open for an additional hour to change the tire for her. Great place. Reasonably priced. Let her use the bathroom because she had been sitting in car for almost 3 hours waiting for the tow truck that never arrived. Love that there’s still places like this in VT. ❤️

Over the past 2 years, we've taken all of our cars and our motorcycle to Ladd's for repairs. We trust their quality of service, their knowledge, and their work ethic. Their team has gone above and beyond for us - hours of searching for just the right parts - because they care about their customers and their work. We won't bring our vehicles anywhere else - we TRUST the entire team at Ladd's.

Ladds Auto and Tire is one the most professional shops I have been too in a long time. They always get done what they say they’re going to do and explain everything that is going on. I take my vehicle there along with my wife and daughters and feel 100% confident that it leaves fixed correctly and that it is safe for them to drive. Have a great piece of mind knowing I have found a dependable and competent shop. Recommend it to anyone.

I’ve had great service at Ladd’s auto every time I need work done. They are my go to place for car work. Honest people and prices are good.

Absolute worst auto shop in randolph. Payed them 500$ for an alignment, tire rods and 2 new tries. Just to find out they never did tire rods or an alignment, seems like they just slaped new tires on my car and sent me on my way, few months later my tire blew and my other new tire was showing wire. Took it to another shop and they confirmed alignment and tire rods were never touched. Extremely rude when I tried to get my money back.

They were quick and responsive to a somewhat time sensitive repair issue that had a few logistical difficulties on my end. They offered an estimate, stayed in communication, and got everything done within the window they set, for a little less than had been quoted elsewhere previously. I will be going back and highly recommend them!

My brake calliper fell off as I was driving through Randolph (very far from home) and Ladd’s was amazing! They picked up the car, looked at it as soon as they could, ordered the parts and fixed the problem quickly. The team really went above and beyond to help and to get me back on the road as soon as possible. I highly recommend them.

I can't say how grateful I am that coworkers resoundingly recommended Ladd's when I needed some brake work on assignment far from home. I explained the issue and scheduled an appt. I thought I was going to need to have front and rear pads replaced and rear rotors. I was quoted a fair price for front and rear brake pads and rotors. I went in this morning and they took me right in. They replaced the rear brakes and rotors as expected but they called me to let me know they took pics to show me but I didn't need front pads or rotors and they didn't want me to pay for work I didn't need to have done. What a great place and fantastic people. Thank you all!

Terrible experience, failed my state inspection just to get money I believe , I am at ram dealer ship now and theres nothing wrong with it there passing it as we speak, ladds said I needed 2000 dollars worth of work, little shady if you ask me. Will never got back, only went there on a limb everyone else was booked. I see new why other places were booked and ladds wasn't.

On September 15th of this year, I dropped my car off at Ladd's after the engine light came on. I'd had nothing but positive experiences with Ladd’s in the past and trusted them to do good, honest work. On September 18th, the receptionist informed me that the turbocharger needed to be replaced and that the estimate for parts and labor would be $2400. I asked to speak directly with the mechanic to confirm that the car had no other issues. The receptionist said the mechanic was still looking at my car at that moment and would call me in a few minutes, but he never did. The following day, I spoke to the receptionist and she assured me there were no other issues with my car. I trusted Ladd’s and wanted to get my car back as soon as possible, so I agreed to the turbocharger replacement. There were many delays with the part and the repair, none of which were communicated proactively. My car wasn’t ready until October 3rd. When I went to pick it up, I was told that a tech had taken it on a test drive to make sure everything was okay and that one of the front wheel bearings was loose and needed to be replaced. I was confused– I hadn’t noticed any wheel issues before and had been assured that there were no other issues with my car. After paying $2500 for the needed repairs, I got in my car and started driving. I could instantly tell my car was in significantly worse condition than when I dropped it off -- new noises, jerkiness in handling, and trouble accelerating that were not present before dropping my car off at Ladd’s. The check engine light went back on within ten miles of leaving the shop. I called Ladd’s and the receptionist told me that if the check engine light was still on the following afternoon, to bring the car back. The follow-up work to resolve these issues conducted between October 4th and October 7th did not lead to a resolution of the problems with the car. I was told that two sensors were broken and that would cost an additional $300 and another week to diagnose and repair. When I asked if the sensors could have been damaged by the turbocharger installation, I was told that that was impossible. At this point, I learned that it had taken the tech who installed the turbo 16 hours (the standard for this job is 6) and that he had been sick for 2 days in the middle of the job. When I asked if he was inexperienced or the turbo was installed incorrectly due to illness, I was told that no, “It’s just a really difficult job.” At this point, I asked to speak with the owner, and was told he would call me on Wednesday the 9th -- I never received a call. Thankfully, I brought my car to another auto shop who confirmed that the turbocharger was not installed properly and was leaking coolant. Additionally, the new mechanic told me that none of the wheel bearings were in need of replacement, contrary to the advice of Ladd's when I picked the car up. He told me that my car was unsafe to drive. After sending an email where I threatened to sue, Ladd’s agreed to tow my car back to the shop and that the owner would install the turbocharger himself. When I picked up my car on October 17th, my car was missing half a tank of gas and there was a pair of dirty gloves on the passenger seat. The next day, my skid plate fell off on the highway. I wasn’t able to pull off for a mile and it will need to be replaced. I will be confirming that the turbocharger was installed correctly with another mechanic, but haven’t had a chance to do so yet. At the end of the day, Ladd’s did not care that I drove away in an unsafe car and refused to take accountability for their mistakes until I threatened legal action. My car was out of commission for a month, which was a huge headache for me and my family. I definitely understand that mistakes and delays happen, but at no point did anyone at Ladd’s apologize, give me an accurate timeline, or assure me that they were going to fix my car correctly. Stay far away from this place. They do not care about the quality of their work, let alone your property or safety.

good customer service high price. lots of bullshit. after chip died it went down hill sadly. used to be reasonably priced high quality service now it is high priced for service I could get at any other shop. with as well getting wrong parts for the cars and won't let you bring your own parts that you know will fit or out right saying that parts that are correct are the incorrect parts. if you want to not spend your entire savings on brakes I would look elsewhere for repair services.

Everyone at Ladd's went above and beyond to help me out last second when I had a problem with a leak in the rear end of my pickup and needed it for towing my camper back to Mass ,they took me right in when I called at 4:00 in the afternoon and had me all fixed by 9:00 the next morning. Highly recommend ,thanks again to everyone!

Had a part of my exhaust fall off on 89 during my trip from Mass to Burlington. Nobody would take a look at it besides these guys. They quickly fixed my exhaust and had me back in the road in an hour! Seriously one of the best experiences I’ve had! Being a mechanic myself, I respect these guys for putting their customers first. It really goes a long way and I will recommend this place to anyone in the area!

I had a serious, intermittent issue with my engine that I tried standard fixes for with no luck. I brought it in to Jason and crew who were initially unsure what was wrong as well. Hours of googling finally suggested an unusual cause for the problem. When I hesitantly suggested it to Jason, he investigated and was able to verify the problem and fix it within a day. The total cost was 1/10th what I feared it might be. Thanks Jason! I wholeheartedly recommend Ladd's and will definitely be back whenever I need help.
