My car was hit in a parking lot, and there was a sizable dent in the door and front fender. I brought it to Jelley’s Auto Sales because the business was highly recommended to me. Gary Jelley gave me an estimate on the spot. I just picked the car up, and they did a beautiful job. I highly recommend this business. They are honest, skilled and pleasant to deal with.

I bought 2 vehicles from this great place! I got them, put in a little work myself & wow ..a 2003 Subaru with 129,000 miles is running like a charm. The other vehicle is a 1998 Jeep with 213,000 miles ...to be continued. I am no mechanic but I can spot a great car! Gary is a great guy!

Gary is the biggest con artist I have ever met in my 39 years on this earth. This clown will rip you off anyway he possibly can. I bought a infinity off this clown, drove it 30 miles and it died on the side of the road. Brought it back and asked for my money back (which he refused) and kept my car for a month and a half, and charged me for repairs. . Went to get a inspection sticker and it has failed twice. Do yourself a huge favor and do not buy from this con. I will be seeing him in court.

Gary is a great guy to buy a vehicle from. My son purchased his first vehicle from Jelley's and had one warranty issue to be addressed. All was handled in one day. Superb service and great people.

I will never purchase another vehicle from Gary Jelley ever again! Purchase was made in June and check engine light he said he fixed is still on. Supposedly replaced fuel pump and they did something to the filler neck which now won't allow me to fill my tank. Vehicle died 2hrs after signing papers, nothing but electrical problems and still hasn't been fixed. He loves to put Vehicles on lot without spare tires as well and yet still puts inspection stickers on Vehicles that clearly won't pass because all he does is clear the light and lie and says he fixed!!!!!! Now I'm stuck in a 5yr loan for junk he knowingly sells!!!

How dare you rip off sweet little old lady’s! My aunt paid you 10k for a VW camper and you ruined the engine and then refused to give her money back. Absolute thief! Don’t give this place your business!

Gary and his crew have helped me out many times and are very easy to deal with. Stop by if you have a problem with your car or need an inspection sticker. I also have had them do some custom brazing/welding and am very happy with their work.

Gary jelly is one of the straightest shooters around the used car business! I was in a really bad place once upon a time and the entire crew their came to the rescue and made sure I had a dependable truck to work with. I’m much better now and about to return for another vehicle...I can’t say enough about the integrity of that place; words don’t cut it! Thanks for ever little thing Gary jelly and crew. See u soon.

Horrible experience!! Brought my car in to get it inspected. They did other work on my car without my consent and failed inspection and charged me for other work that I never asked them to do. Will not ever go back there again

First time buyer here and they seem to be doing there best. Is costing some up front but will end up with what I'm paying for. Everyone has different experiences and mine is just beginning so I will my own judgements. And the staff has been very helpful and understanding.

I dont even wish to give them a star. They sold my young nephew his first vehicle for 12 grand just to discover that it would not pass NY state inspection because of multiple hidden issues and had a cracked frame. They took it back because they had to and conducted quick band aid repairs. 30 days later the brakes went AFTER being "repaired" by their mechanic. Called them back for assistance and they said they didn't want to be bothered anymore. Very terrible business. 12 grand people..

Don't walk away from this place, run! A number of years ago, I was sold a 2002 VW Jetta TDI Sedan, $2000 over fair market value. The KBB Value was $7,000 in the best possible condition. The dealer conveniently failed to disclose the following at the time of purchase: *The cars motor was previously replaced. *The wastegate was clamped over, and completely rotted. The clamp was brand new, and had no rust. *The turbo was bad *The oil lines going to the turbo were rotted, so the turbo couldn't have worked from day one. Since Jelleys did the first oil change, they had to have seen the fact that the wastegate was clamped over. Gary later admitted to clamping over the rotted part. When my mechanic did the second oil change 4,000 miles later, he said the car should have never been sold like this, they need to fix it" Apparently, you can legally get away with murder in the State of Vermont when selling a vehicle as-is, even if you omit critical information out concerning its true condition. The car was slow out of the gate from day one, but I made the mistake of just assuming that this was how these cars were supposed to drive. The car required at least $2500 in parts and labor before leaving the lot (wastegate, turbo, and rotted oil lines going to the turbo) that I was ultimately stuck with. Jelley said he replaced the EGR valve, but no proof was ever provided for any work. He dragged his feet promising time, and time again "I'll take care of ya", while at the same time, coming up with excuse after excuse why it couldn't be looked at for weeks at a time. Jelleys also said that six hours was spent cleaning the intake, which I didn't believe at the time there was anything wrong with. Cleaning the intake is a six hour job - if you spend six hours doing it. When the car was at the lot, I noticed it hadn't moved an inch, and I rode by there several times over a couple of days, and never saw it being worked on, then I was called, and told it was done. When I pressed Jelleys, to fix the turbo - something that was broken on the car at the time of sale, I was offered a fix with junk parts. First, I was promised it would be done for free. Then when Jelley realized he didn't have a junk part lying around, wanted me to pay $350 to replace the turbo. A. new or re-manufactured part goes for $1200. No other reputable mechanic I talked to would even use a junkyard turbo. I spent a total of $5,000 in just over a year fixing rotting oil lines, and other issues resulting from the junk engine. During it's last few months, it needed several repairs, which would have been cost-prohibitive to bother with. 1. All the door locks would not lock all the time. 2. When the door locks did lock, you could arm the car, roll the window down, and open the drivers side door, and the alarm wouldn't go off. 3. The ABS light was on. 4. The check engine light was on with P0420 (was from the very day I drove off the lot, verbally promised to be fixed by the dealer, and was never fixed). If anyone could have ever told me that a used car could have cost this much to drive in one year aside from a single large repair like an engine or transmission, I wouldn't have believed it until I experienced this all first hand. Finally 1.2 years after owning the car, the tensioner snapped in half, and the timing belt slipped, taking out the motor. That was the end of this junk car. The timing belt was supposed to be good for thousands of miles still. When dealing with this dealer, don't take him at his word - Get everything in writing, receipts too, so he can't try and weasel his way out of fixing things he promised verbally, and later on reneged. Jelley took care of me alright. Ultimately, I was left with a $14,000 loss on a car I could only drive for just over one year.
