I was on a trip from Cedar City to the airport in Salt Lake. Just before Mona my engine light came on and the car became gutless. My brother was driving and we stopped to see if we could clear the code and go on. That didn’t work, something was definitely wrong. We made it to the Auozone store and asked the guy if he could help us. He was very helpful. Answering all my questions without acting like I was an idiot. We got it figured out through about an hour of reading codes and testing things. We ended up buying exactly what was needed and not pressured into getting anything else. All in all I hope if I ever have car problems it is near this store.

Yesterday I had ordered a part for my car. The person who took the order informed me the part would arrive by 1:00PM A little after 1:00PM I had not heard from them that the part had arrived. Having the old one removed and still waiting on the part, I called to see if it was there. Was told to call back at 1:30PM if I had not heard from them. Around 1:45PM I called and the person that answered the phone was very disrespectful to me. Accused me of bugging them because I was calling to check on if the part was there. He would not confirm if the part would even be there on the next hub run. I asked if he could call the Orem hub and see if my part had even gotten shipped. He told me that wasn’t his job to check on my part. He said that I was more than welcome to call myself. Eventually he did call and verify my part would now arrive at 4:00PM. There was much more to this conversation but I will choose to leave it there. At that point I decided this was the last part I would ever buy at AutoZone. 2 hours later I received a call from the store manager, who was on her day off. She wanted to know what happened so I explained. She was so apologetic and kind and said she was so sorry that I was treated that way. I was way impressed by her level of concern and her desire to make things right. Because of her professionalism in handling this matter I will continue to be a regular customer of the Autozone in Payson Ut!! Because of what she did I am giving her and most all of her other employees a 5 star review. Thank You very much!!!

They are awesome! I lost my power steering just off close to them and they were very helpful with trying to figure out a solution since it is electric power steering. We tried the fuse and that didn’t work and while we were waiting for our ride they came back out to try and see if there was a solution right then and there. I forget their names sadly. Thank you!

We always have the worst time getting the right windshield wipers for our Subaru Ascent but Alex was super helpful! He walked my husband through finding the right ones and even came out and helped him install them! 10/10 Thanks Alex!

I've come to this store religiously for parts and services over the years. Not once have I had a bad experience. The staff are friendly, quick, knowledgeable, and none more so than Alexander. He was above and beyond helpful and helped me get back on the road in a matter of minutes. My thanks!

Excellent service! I had a battery die and while finding someone to jump me I called and was able to verify that the battery I needed was in stock. They were not pushy and didn’t try to sell me more than I wanted. When I arrived they helped me get my battery and huge shout out to David E. who came and replaced it for me.

When in, I was in a rush and three people were helping me find items I needed and the even went out and got the part I needed at another store and I just picked it up later. Very helpful

Jackson was really amazing and helpful i had 2 bad batterys and he helped me change em let me borrow all the tools i needed and checked on me while he helped 3 other customers ! Great guy who cares about customer service !

I’d like to share that the sales staff at this store is fantastic and went above and beyond with their service tonight. I needed to get a new car battery. It was a half an hour before the store closed before I could get a jump for my dead car. As I headed to the store, driving through a terrible snow storm, I called the store to let them know I was going arrive close to the closing time. I arrived approximately 5 minutes before the store was due to close. They had my replacement battery waiting at the checkout. We took care of the transaction, and they switched the old battery, replacing it with the new battery. Start to finish, it took only 20 minutes and I was on my way back home. Ever so grateful the they were so efficient and accommodating to me. Thank you! 2/8/24

Tried to warranty out a clutch set I got there, never had a problem with the staff pulling it out of the hub store one of the emplyees told me I had to buy it again to order it down. That’s not good customer service I don’t want to buy it to warranty it out and wait for the money to go back into my bank account. The training there sucks from when I worked there what ever happened to customer satisfaction. There is none. I don’t do much there anymore do to the staff.

This was my go to store for parts but not anymore. It seems that some of the new employees have no clue bout anything auto parts. The last time i went in there was a line of people waiting to checkout They were all frustrated. I stood in line for about 10 minutes. I put back the things i was going to buy and went to Advanced auto parts. Where as soon as i walked in i was greeted by the staff and ask i they could help. Very different experience. The last few times i went into auto zone the employees are never happy, if you can find them.

This review is specifically for the manager Haze. He was so kind and helpful when me and my husband just couldn't figure out what was going on with our car battery. He took the time to help us and solved our problem quickly. Definitely appreciate him and look forward to his help in the future!

The last few times i have gone in looking for a part, they don't got it. Online says they have it... Please update your inventory and your website. He recommended to go to Spanish Fork to get the spark plug. I needed this last time. No calling ahead. Luckily I went the long way through and saw O'Reilly's! And pulled in. They had it! In and out in 2min, I forget we have an O'Reilly's. It's kind of hidden over by Payson market l, this was memorial day so napa and the rest of the shops were closed and i needed that plug to ride.

Got a new alternator for my car. Fair prices, cheaper than a mechanic if you're willing to do the labor. Only complaint is that I swear just cause I look femme, I get treated like Idk what I need or am talking about.

I had problems with my car starting, so took it in for a free diagnostic. A young man named Caden very quickly was able to test and tell me that we needed a new battery. He offered to install it for us for free, which he did very quickly and efficiently. We had just had a horrible experience with a service department at a dealership for our other car, so to have this young man help us so professionally and quickly with this problem was an absolute relief. I hope someone at Auto Zone reads this and gives Caden recognition for a job well done!

Will never go back to the Payson location. A brief hold is not 16+ minutes. If you are busy with "4" costumers in your store. Communicate and let us know instead of saying, "we will put you on a brief hold". It will go a long way.

I asked for a filter and they said they didn't have it. So I drove all over town trying to find the filter, no luck. I go online and it says it's available at this same location, in stock. So I call, the guy said he will check. I was left on hold and he never came back to the phone. Horrible services. Do not recommend coming here.

While I don’t go to any parts store very frequently, every time I’ve visited this location, staff have been super helpful and have had some sort of useful answer to my parts requests or questions. I recently came in at the ninth hour after installing some lights I ordered online that worked when tested during installation earlier that day, but when it came to leaving for work that night my car’s short-to-ground protection would kick in because resistance was too low. Thanks 2010’s Ford. I was very late for work already and I must’ve seemed pretty pathetic; the clerk saved my bacon by giving me a killer deal on a set of bulbs, which is especially helpful in retrospect because the whole problem is one of my own doing and Amazon now wants to charge me a return fee. Whoever was working the counter on the night of October 21st should get a nice bonus! Whoever the hiring manager for this location is, they’re doing a bang up job choosing helpful employees.

This store has been my go to for lots of parts on all the cars I've owned. The customer service is good enough but the store is clean and usually well stocked which is what is most important to me. If you need to recycle used motor oil, test your battery, or read your check engine light this is the place to go.

Within 30 minutes of purchasing a new car on my own in salt lake I noticed the transmission was off so I took it into auto zone, I was in complete stress and disarray without knowing anyone in the Payson area, the guys at auto zone were incredibly helpful they let me charge my phone, they ran the code on my car and told me the transmission was bad and that I had a few options. Ben was one of the most honest and kind mechanics working there he gave me his card and helped recommend me to auto shops nearby. Very blessed to have been helped by such awesome guys. Thanks for being so kind to me❤️

I just went to this location for the first time and I am SO impressed! Gene helped us and his service was amazing! He really had our best interests in mind and wanted to help us with the cold weather and making sure my car runs great. I will go there every time I need something . Very impressed!

Went in for some coil boots and coil packs, come to find out that part is completely missing in their store! So Parley called up the Spanish fork store to see if they had it and lone be hold they did! They put that part on hold for us and gave us a 10% discount! Always had great customer service at this particular AutoZone!

We stopped by to grab a few new parts to fix our car ASAP. We weren't greeted at all. As we asked for what we were looking for, the associate did not show that he was confident in what he was doing and his co-worker didn't provide him any help after he was asked (by the other associate). Overall, they did not look very happy to be helping us out so we now try to go elsewhere for parts such as Napa and O'Reilly.

I ordered a part from here and was told it would only take a day, and they'd call when it came in. Not only did they not call, but when we personally called in, one associate told us it wouldn't be in until 12 -3pm when the next one told us it had been there since 9am. No big deal that I was stranded at a friend's house and waited until 4pm for the part and didn't have time to fix the car before dark. That's cool. Worst AutoZone experience I've had.

I have been very disappointed in the service here. I have been in several times, but each time I go in there is never a "hi" or a welcome of any kind. I have wandered around for 10-15 minutes before getting help when there are available associates, just to get told they didn't want to bother us. The parts I needed were behind the counter anyway!! I have never been offered to have parts tested before replacing them, so we have spent lots of money there for things that could've been fine. I was never offered their reward program so I never got to benefit from the discounts that I could have had on the $400+ we have spent there. I've never received advice and explanations like I've seen them give others.. men mostly. I don't know if its because I'm am older woman, not a man, but I've now taken my business elsewhere!!

This is the only place my husband gets car parts.(and he buys a LOT of parts all the time fixing our cars and others) Always nice staff who will help with your car and even put parts in for you. They have great prices. Busy most the time but they do their best to get you taken care of and on your way ! Oh and they are good no matter what store you go to -from Payson and Spanish Fork to Garden city Kansas.
