Terrible experience. I had a dead battery that needed to be jumped. When the jump didn’t take I needed a tow. They wanted me to call my insurance and file a claim, as I am calling them they leave and then make me over an hour to come get a tow when they were already out there in the first place. My entire morning has been dealing with this and they still haven’t come.
I had a problem with my motorcycle, I called Stauffer’s towing, They were very friendly, Carl arrived very promptly, he went above and beyond to help me, Carl was very careful when getting the motorcycle onto his tow truck, was very safe, I was very pleased with the way treated me and my bike, if you are in need of a tow, I highly recommend Stauffer’s.
This was my first experience having to call a tow company. Carl came to the rescue and actually helped me solve the issue with my car. He is a 10/10 human and was super kind and helpful!
Had a screw on my tire and had to get a tow. The woman who was on the phone (I should’ve asked for her name) she was awesome, professional and had great communication. Jamie saved us and gave us a tow/ ride back and he was such a cool guy he made us feel comfortable and welcomed . He got us there safely no issues at all. Whole process was smooth, he got my car parked and set perfectly in such a tight lot. these guys were awesome and i will definitely call them again if I ever need towing assistance.
April 6th, Sprinter Van stuck on a forest service road in soft snow ( our mistake thinking we could get through it)/ After, shoveling for 2 hours or so around tires etc to no avail and even having a local try to pull us out from the snow his pick up, also to no avail, I called Stauffers Towing and am so glad I did. Austin (and Danny) were amazing as they talked me through how to drop a pin for the location which I did not know how to do and they even waited as I walked 1/4 a mile down the FS road towards the highway where I could get service on my phone. Was borrowing someone else's phone initially. They were so reassuring that they could get someone there and get us unstuck that evening and as it was after 7 when I called, I was so appreciative of their attitude having just spoken to another tow company who hemmed and hawed about whether they could even get to us and did not call back as promised. Also Karl the tow truck driver was great. Got the van unstuck, turned the van around for us and waited to ensure we were on our way. Best tow experience I have ever had in 65 years.
My truck died in the middle of the road in a left turn lane onto a freeway on ramp. It was a bad place to be sitting. My insurance said a tow truck would be 2-2.5 hours. Hunter with Stauffer’s Towing was just driving by and offered to get me towed right away! I appreciate his proactivity. My car is almost done being fixed and I would still be waiting for the tow my insurance was going to send. Great service, very friendly, and saved me a lot of time!
Late at night these heroes showed up and did 100% of the work picked up my totaled car, and brought it to my driveway as if it was parked there! They have skilled drivers that are so kind! I genuinely don't think any business could ever went up this one. This business is literally the best of the best along with their incredible staff. I attached photos so you can see how impossibly perfect they parked my car in my driveway when it's non drivable, they did this with a tow truck! Absolutely incredible!
Cody worked fast and answered all of my questions. He was extremely polite and professional and educated me on a number of things regarding my truck that I was not aware of. He was a lifesaver, teaching me as he worked.
Can’t recommend Stauffer’s Towing enough. Driver was very helpful and went above and beyond to transport my two containers. Snow on the ground and muddy country roads. No complaints. Much appreciated!

Carl came out to my home this morning to help me get my classic truck back on the lift. I had pulled the truck under the lift, and the front tires had slid off the side, so it was stuck in a weird position. I could not figure out a way to get it back on the lift without damaging the truck or hitting one of the posts. Carl came out and within 20 minutes had it back on the lift. He was so careful, even making sure he didn’t scratch the frame of the truck as he lifted. Thanks for bailing me out this morning!
Really fast arrival and knowledgeable too! My little vintage Mercedes Benz has the battery in the trunk. I couldn't open it because it was electronic, but the tow driver knew exactly where to look for an access under the hood!
The wait was less than I expected. The driver was very hella cool, and friendly. He was there quickly and got me squared away. He was Awesome!! Would recommend to ppl.
The wait was a little long because it was a busy day for the dispatch. Once he arrived, Cody was amazing and got us to a tire repair place quickly. It was hot outside, but inside the truck it was like an icebox! Thanks so much.

It took just a little bit longer for the driver to arrive but that's okay he did an excellent job! He loaded the car with consideration and he drove very safely and I really appreciate his professionalism.
They were quick to respond, tried to see if they could get my car going without a tow, secured my car safely, offered me a water bottle, friendly on the drive to the repair shop and expertly navigated their giant truck to drop my car right where the repair shop wanted him to even in a tight turn. I called several tow companies around and Stautter was farthest away and cheapest by far. I needed a tow from Love’s gas station to the Kenworth Dealership (3.2 miles). $365 and they arrived sooner than I was told. Other companies asked for $700-$1000 for a 3 miles tow. Guy was very professional and since it was me and my wife , he called his company and had his co worker come to pick up my wife, since his cab only had room for one of us. I hope I never need the tow again, but if I do and I’m in the area, I would call them again. Great service guys !
We had to be rescued in Huntsville Ut up on the mountain. No reception, but the towing crew found their way and we’re there 15 minutes before we anticipate. The crew took care of us in short order and we were able to get back to the beauty of our mountain.
I had them tow a 34 foot school bus from the 1970’s. I was very impressed with the equipment and how smooth everything worked. The driver Kevin was very enjoyable and easy to work with. It cost me 540 dollars to move it 3 miles which was a bit more than so was expecting, but that’s just the price of business I guess.
Personable, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure my partner and I made it safely to our hotel after towing our truck. I’d say I’d use them again, but that would include having to break down again lol Would for sure recommend them!
The guy who came to give us a tow kept kicking our tire saying it was safe to drive on the mechanic shop said if we drove in it much longer it wouldn't have be repairable. The driver made it clear he didn't want to tow us. We said we would be more comfortable with the tow. He kept pushing us to drive it. Until I'm assuming he figured out we weren't budging. By the time it was dropped of at les-schwab it was on the rim.
I gave 3 stars because this is my first encounter with this company. I don't like rating a whole company on one driver.
The guy that helped me was extremely nice and efficient. He helped my diagnose the problem I was having with my truck and then made the whole process seamless. Highly recommend!
I had been working on a car for a while and I needed it towed (it’s a low car). They said it would be around a 90 minute wait… it ended up being 2 and a half hours of me waiting in the cold. Half way in I decided to give them another call. The driver said he ended up having to go to salt lake and didn’t decide to inform me about that. The company ended up having to send another driver out. They said the wait would be about an hour but he came in 15 minutes. As frustrated as I was, Brian came to rescue me from my misery. He was respectful and professional and made it clear what he was doing. Overall I was happy with what he did as a driver. However on behalf of the company I was a little annoyed as I had never towed a car before.
Stauffer’s is amazing! They did a great job towing my Prelude up to our new place in West Haven! Mike was courteous, professional, and handled my bucket with care. They are now my go to place for towing and I hope Mike is available next time I need a tow!
It accidentally drove over a small median that was covered by snow during a storm and got stuck. Curtis came to pull my car out and I was worried that simply pulling it would cause damage underneath. Curtis was very conscientious of this as well without me telling him, and he tried a bunch of different creative methods to pull my car out. First he tried to just straight pull it out, and then it got stuck and started to slant, so be pulled out something to make the machine pull at an angle, then he tried lifting the car with the corner of the tow lifting one wheel of my car, and pull it at a slant in the air, and then he straightened it out, and then repeated some combination of lifting the corner of my car up at a slant and then straight and then setting the car down and then moving the towing bed forward and then lifting the corner of my car up again and slowly sliding my car safely off the median. He was so careful and meticulous about the way he was pulling it out. Finally, when it was pulled out, he took a look under the car for me to see if there was any damage. I don't know anything about cars so I appreciated him taking initiative and doing that for me. He said everything looks good but that he still recommends I get it checked out by a mechanic just to be sure. I super appreciated his customer service, attention to detail, and caring for safely pulling out my car smoothly and carefully. Curtis is awesome! I always thought towers were sleezy, but Curtis changed my paradigm to a good honest person. Next time I need a towing company, I'm calling Stauffer's and asking for Curtis.
Carl was amazing! We got our vintage farm truck into a storage garage with just inches to spare and he was so kind and patient with me! He is a true expert driver. Would use him for any special tow jobs. He can handle the tough ones!!
