I've already noticed that you buy one item and two appear on the receipt. Be careful with that.

Worst junkyard i have ever been too in my life. Pulled a drive train out of a car. They were going to charge me 2.5k for the drive train... which is literally more than running version of the car. Its literally cheaper to buy an entire donor car on Facebook then it would ever be to use this junkyard. I went there before this recently and it cost more for a covor than it would be to buy it a new like OE cover. Not to mention thier prices never match the site anymore. This place has become the worst junkyard in the state. I would avoid this place at all costs.

had the absolute worst experience here with tracy the manager! how are you a manager and talk to people the way you do? i walked in because my boyfriend was in the yard grabbing a part and the yard closed in 5 minutes but i was willing to pay the admission fee and sign the waiver to help get him out of there faster and she just gave me complete attitude and was so rude! i will never be going here again if tracy is working.

It is what it is - a pull-it-yourself scrap yard, but also has a decent selection of tires and rims. Online inventory makes it easy to search and locate the vehicle needed.

Getting decent customer service here isn't a priority of management. Where are the carts in the yard? This is pretty annoying.

These guys suck. 3 times in a row they picked up the phone. I could hear them talking. Then they would hang up on me. I understand being busy but a simple “can you hold sir” would be better than just hanging up. I live far away and would like to make sure they have the car before driving down. Lost a customer for life

Will not honor electronic copy of store credit receipt. These receipts are printed on heat sensitive paper and will erase over time, or turn completely black in a hot glove box, so I took a picture of mine. This has worked great in the past, they even recommended that I do this. Today, I was told it is against company policy to scan the barcode from an electronic copy of a receipt. Really? I asked to speak with the manager. She was very rude and grumpy, and said there was nothing she could do for me. I should have asked her “How about the electronic waiver you just had me sign? Does that need to be on paper too?” But I didn’t, I just left. The counter cashiers are polite, professional, and helpful for finding where the cars are located in the lot, but prices are steep, like California prices in Utah. Other junkyards and even eBay have better prices than these guys. I used to love going here. But now, they are my least favorite junkyard, used to be a lot better with customer service, sad to see this happen.

The pricing for their vehicles are The same as if the vehicle wasn’t running, and everything are the same price as if the vehicle is running, and there’s nothing wrong with it

Ive been coming here for 10 years, but this last year prices have gotten so put of hand and outrageous. I've made my last trip! This is 3 hours away from me and to drive out there and pay more then NEW prices for old used parts at a scrap yard is ridiculous! Save yourself the time wrenching and the money and just order it online and ship it to your door!!

Would you please get some knowledgable people. It’s been more than a year since I’ve been to this yard. Out of all the yards this is my least favorite. First you would have to wait a long time to get in cause the employees were super slow, than the cars in the yard were bare bones and if you managed to find something they charge you quite a lot. Today I decide to try my luck and found a few parts including an anti roll pump, basically it’s just a manual oil pump. The lady didn’t know what it was cause she never sold one before so she waited to speak to the other employee to see what she should charge. The employee was busy so after what seemed an eternity decided to go ask the new manager (I guess she’s new cause the old manager wasn’t there) so she comes back and says it will run you 130 dollars since it’s not in our system and online it sells for 1800. I’m like what!!?? That’s crazy it’s just a manual oil pump and most places charge it as a power steering pump 70 at the most. This also was not new and an older model which sells for about 500 used. The mgr heard me and decided to come out from the office to justify the price. I told her it’s ok I’ll leave it and she continued arguing with me about the price. She reiterated it sells for 1800. So I said engines sell for thousands of dollars does that mean you will charge me thousands for your used engines? She said no they have a set price. Well it might not say anti roll pump in your system but it’s just an oil pump. So it’s a bit illogical but it’s ok everyone charges what they want, I just won’t buy at this place anymore. Still she continued arguing about it even threatened to kick me out when I told her she didn’t know what she’s talking about so I asked for corporate number and she never gave it to me. I’m not sure why it escalated so much when I told her three times I’m not taking it. So…

i've always loved this place, but lately they start blocking people from getting in 40 minutes before closing. They used to just give a heads up that the yard was closing soon and you needed to be out by five, now even if it's a quick part and I know where it is, I never know depending on who's working when they're gonna stop letting people into the yard but it's always at least a half hour before closing

I found the part that I needed, but it was a little bit cracked. I offered to buy it from them. The lady wanted to charge me for every wire coming off of it. They’re not interested in selling parts. They’re interested in the weight and ripping people off, I would avoid pick and pull Salt Lake

Wont even answer the phone, tried calling all day about my car that was supposed to be picked up, which never got picked up and when someone finally answered and transferred my call, they hung up. Once near closing time the employees don’t care at all. Going somewhere else for my car troubles from now on.

Went to the pick n pull today. The hours are wrong on google. I came at 5:10pm and the doors wouldn’t open and the lady at the front informed us they were closed. Awesome place but their hours need to be updated

This place is not managed very well they charge 2 dollars more than Tear A Part on Redwood. Its a sham too cuz they experience much more volume in regards to customers coming In etc.... the lot is arranged helter skelter. Instead of being grouped by make they group by model. And it's always a wait to get in the place on weekends for sure and the parking lot is too small in relation to their customer base. One would think that beings they charge 2X what Tear A Part does that they would have the decency to have the parking lot leveled and paved or at least beat down they're prices making it worth waiting in line and fighting with pond sized potholes and mud devoured parking lots. Yeah .. I shot that..God bless and wear boots . If you bring children have them wear those inflatable ring things around they're arms

This is the last resort for parts. Save yourself the headache of dealing with this place, and pay a little more for a part off ebay that you know is correct.

The owner is great. His employees are great. They do quick and fast work.Nice easy company to work with.Thank you guys pick and pull for fixing my windshield. When I need it at most twenty five stars

Used to be a great place for parts. Now the customer service at the desk deserves a zero stars for lack of service and attentiveness.

So I showed up just after 5:30 and know that they don’t let people in to pull parts, however, I had already taken the time to pull the part off and just didn’t have the cash until now. The lady told me I wasn’t allowed to go in and I even said I would pay for someone to go grab the cv axle as mine broke and limped my way to the wrecking yard just to be turned down. I explained to her that it was already off and that my cv just broke and now I have to wait until morning, that is if I make it home safely or without the whole knuckle breaking off and ruining that many more parts or wrecking and hurting someone. I frequent pick n pull on a weekly basis and to be treated like I wasn’t a valued customer has put a sour taste in my mouth. I mean, I was 5 min past the mark and I didn’t even have to take any tools in at all so what harm could have come from simply letting me run and grab the part or having one of their workers grab it on their sweep through the yard! Not only would it have helped me tremendously, it also would have put more money in their drawer. Rules are rules I guess and good customers don’t really matter to them it appears. I definitely am going to think twice before I come back here or refer anyone else as I have brought them a lot of business and now I will send people elsewhere to get their parts. It’s sad that they had no care or concern that i drove all the way from riverton to get this axle and don’t think i will make it all the way back without something happening. Good on them though, she got her fix for the day by making sure she was in charge and what she said goes. Well if she’s not an owner then it doesn’t matter to her that she just lost the company quite a few customers and that revenue will be going elsewhere. Sorry not sorry!

The spare parts that are obtained are very very good, but Customer service is not nice. I went to buy some spare parts for my vehicle and I forgot a Dewall tool. In less than two hours I called many times and there was no answer. I went to the place quickly and they didn't help me. In conclusion, I lost my tool. :(

I go here often as it's always saved me a dollar. However today I bought two hood hinges for a 2011 Honda civic which came up to 34 dollars before tax. After leaving and looking online that's nearly double the price of any other used hood hinges when googled and even more them some places selling them brand new

Customer Service was rude and uncompromising when trying to schedule a pickup of my vehicle. Call anyone else, they're all way nicer and will work with your situation.

Used to go here for parts for my buddies jeep, my old expedtion and always got a good deal. Finally junked the expedtion when it kicked the bucket and they got me more $ than 3 other spots i checked into. The service from thier phone side was great and they were able to help me get a copy of the title, so I recommend them for both parts and car funeral services

I'm done with Pick-N-Pull. Since I was there last time last year they've increased their entry price from $1 to $3. They charged me $42.99 for a USED electric fuel pump, and with all the b$ fees it came to $54 plus the entry fee. And NO cash refunds, just store credit, plus no way to test it-- DON'T EVEN ASK to run a couple of wires from a 12v battery for a quick test. Aftermarket pumps on RockAuto or Amazon can be purchased for less than $40 including shipping. I only bought it because it was OEM and I've had a string of bad aftermarket pumps. Fortunately it worked when I got it home. I've been shopping at Pick n Pull for 25+ years but never again. It's probably not a coincidence that the parent company, Schnitzer Steel was just bought by the Toyota conglomerate this year.

Looks like this place has gone way downhill. They used to be my go to but now they won't even answer the phone. First time I called it rang forever and they disconnected my call, I called right back and they answered with "please hold" and proceeded to put me in hold hell until I got tired of waiting and hung up. Sad, they used to be good, but judging by all the recent reviews and rip offs, I'm glad I didn't try to use them again anyway. I'll try a different yard or order online I guess.

Went today to pick up two rain trays off of 25-year-old cars and was quoted $11 each walking in. Absolutely fair considering brand new they're $40. When I go to check out the other person at the front desk more than triples the price to $45 each, keep in mind one of them was cracked but I didn't care. Not only do I explain to her that they're $40 brand new and I would like to still purchase them she says well it's $45 each or you can order them brand new. Great business motto. Hire a real manager that knows how to run a business. By the way they're hidden in the yard no one will ever find them I'll come back when she's not there. This is the reason why people are purposely breaking things in your yard. They say one price then charge another.

Came for a Ford Focus side mirror. I paid an entry fee, found it, grabbed it myself, brought it back and was shocked to hear they wanted $50 for it!? A new one on E-bay is as little as $35! I left without it after I was told to "run my credit," but came back after I saw they did price matching. They no longer do price matching. I left again, empty-handed. I didn't want to argue with the employees, it's not their faults, but this is ridiculous! This place is not convenient, so it had better be cheap and it's just NOT. Until they lower their rates, I say go on eBay or maybe Facebook marketplace. Much better value for much better parts.

Good yard. Prices seem reasonable, though an environmental fee that doesn’t really mane sense is applied. Wasn’t too busy when we went on a Saturday morning, around 10AM. They have wagons you can use to take parts from the car to checkout, and they let us take the cart out to our car and bring it back in. It would be nice if you could check in on your own device rather than wait in line. Great selection. Vending machines by the door in case the day goes on longer than you thought it would and get thirsty.

Update: ask how much is your part before you take it out, there is a guy with a bunch of piercings trying to charge you too much for these parts, you are better off going to a place where they already have the part out. placed. The advantage of this place is the location, and the entry cost. However they need the work the process to get in and out. They either need to improve the automated system or add more employees, Every time I go there is line and the people there are not enough for the demand

Now that Pull-N-Save no longer does half price Wednesdays, this yard has the best prices in Salt Lake. Row52 inventory integration makes it incredibly easy to check if they have what I need. I really like that they post their upcoming vehicles for the week in the lobby. Their facilities are usually the cleanest, and they provide hand washing sinks (why the other yards don't do this is bizarre). Vehicles are placed on stands made from welded wheels, standard practice, very stable, makes getting parts from under the vehicle painless. However, nearly every single wheel has been pulled from the yard, there is absolutely nothing to use to stand on to access an engine compartment from the top. God help you if you need a part from a truck that requires top down access like a cylinder head and aren't 8 feet tall, you just aren't going to get it. It regularly takes 20 minutes to check in or out. None of the other yards have the endemic staffing issues this place does, with always at least 3 people working registers rather than one person pulling triple duty with check in and check out and parts interchange. Update Sept 2020: Staffing issues still not addressed, once again took over ten minutes to check out despite being the only person in line to pay because cashier was pulling triple duty with answering phones, parts interchange, check-in and check out. Needed to pull several engines, out of nine possible donor vehicles seven had their engines pulled out, flipped upside down, and smashed across the hood of the car destroying anything of value inside the engine compartment. Why even bother running a you-pull if you're just going to destroy everything before placing it in the yard? Crush the cars and don't waste anyone's time. Asked and was told it's how they remove cats. This is a recent change, you didn't used to do this. I've been to parts yards across the country, no other yard does this. You need a new foreman or general manager. It's unlikely I'll be back, there are plenty of other parts yards in Salt Lake that aren't run like a complete clown show.
